The best restaurants in England

The menu promised a nice selection - but having gone for Rose Bubble tea, unfortunately the shop didn’t have tapioca so it was fruit bubbles only. This was not a bubble tea and tasted more like fruit squash with the fruit bubbles in. It tasted nothing like Rose. At £3.45 for the standard size, it was also not cheap. Perhaps I’m more used to the standard of Bubble Tea in London which is generally at least an 8/10... unfortunately I couldn’t even rate the standard of this ‘bubble tea’ and threw it away after the first few sips. 0/10.

Had a cream tea delivered today wonderful, sandwiches so fresh and cakes were beautiful thanks so much to our daughter and son in law for choosing you thanks

This is my regular shop and I cannot fault it wide variety and a very nice owner. I would recommend

a very nice little bar food not bad but not great staff very helpful.. yes I would visit the bar again

I prebooked by email .. communication was brilliant. Service very good and amazing bacon sandwich. Definitely recommend. We’ll 100% come back.

Had a panini, full breakfast cob, flapjack and hot drink. all at an amazing price, freshly made, quick service, and friendly staff. will definitely be returning.

My partner and I came across this place today. We were greeted as soon as we came in, very friendly service! Food came out quickly and was a generous portion. Very tasty! The chef came out to check everything was ok. The owner explained the plans going forward and they sound great. We will definitely be back :)

Charming ambience… subtle lighting… warm and welcoming. We had the smaller tasting menu. The food was superbly presented , delicious flavours with exciting combinations and seasonal influences… this food rivals the Fat Duck and L Enclume as well as the Raby Hunt but at a fraction of the price … Congratulations to this stunningly talented young chef and his team. The wines too were sensibly priced with a good selection to choose from…. We work in hospitality so feel well place to assess… we know what hard work goes into it to keep very high standards… An amazing place on the up and coming ….
