Very nice tea. I found it nice and welcoming inside. It's nice and cosy. Nice little cafe. Emma Hudson

Had a brill morning volunteering at The Mustard Seed Coffee Shop. Met up with some of the lovely customers. It's a great place to volunteer, lots of support to learn new skills. Relaxing sofa corner, a box of children's books to enjoy on their visit and a bookcase of preloved books for a small donation. Art and craft work displayed by Chapel Arts is well worth calling in to see. Maybe buy a card or gift.

I go to the Mustard Seed regularly. Nice peaceful coffee shop away from the hustle and bustle. Coffee is not only excellent, but is responsibly sourced and at very low cost. Staff are always friendly and pleasant and the artwork (prints, cards, photos, glasswork, hand made goods, bags etc) on display in the coffee shop is tasteful, pleasant to look at and available for sale at very reasonable cost. Excellent!

A very welcoming small cafe with a big range of excellent appetising options. We separately sampled very tasty bacon and sausage cobs with equally good coffees. We saw the range of sandwiches and paninis, soups, and cakes available too. All these are home made in house. The locals clearly know it is the best around as it was busy with take aways too. We are tourists and will certainly come again when we are next in the area

Super tasty lunch , we had toasted sandwiches with skinny fries. The cake selection looked amazing although we refrained. Nice place to sit after an explore

A real gem of a place with excellent, friendly service and an exciting menu. Pixies is known for its cakes (which are excellent) but I actually prefer the savoury options, the cheese on toast is pretty amazing and if the Onion Bhaji burger is on then you must try it. Coffee is always good too.

Caught up with friends over a bit of lunch. First of all, it does look small at the front (we weren't even sure it was open) but after the gift shop, it does open out a little and is dog friendly. Although, it seems most places are in castleton! The selection of cakes was awesome, I had the scone and cream, one friend had waffle and the other had the Scottish broth. All of us confirmed our corresponding foods was great. Service was really swift and polite. Would come back again!
