The people are all competent and friendly. Nothing is too much for them. It’s a happy place to be..plenty of, room and busy but no long waiting times and the food is second to none! I recommend Lowford Café to all my friends and family. Simply the best!
Spent four days here, overall very good. The staff, especially Shirelle were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The big letdown was the restaurant, we were half board, out of the seven meals we had we had too send the food back six meal times for being cold mostly. Nita
I lived in Blackburn for 2 years and loved Sultans. My favorite is the chicken on the bone curry with 2 rottis. Love it miss it. Is Billi boy still working there? I don't think alot of people understand that iys not the aesthetics, it's the food and it's back home banging finger licking tiffin!
We dropped in after scouring the railway vintage memorabilia shop for a coffee and cakes. A very warm welcome from the staff and from the wonderful coal fire. We enjoyed the railway theme of the cafe and they have various Wensleydale Railway items for sale, such as beer and engraved glass packs. The home baking was excellent and the coffee hot and flavoursome. A good selection of snacks. It's the sort of place where everyone is relaxed and conversations with other customers start. Great to see and hear the trains going by. Seats on the platform if you want to get closer to the action.
We popped to Carfax for some lunch and found Steak Expectations. The steak was amazing, there were various options of toppings / sauces and the chap serving was very friendly and pleasant. We would definitely recommend!
the owner of the spud shack is very obliging in that any combination of a hot potato and fillings are readily available had any a hot spud to take home for an easy lunch
We went on a Sunday morning for breakfast sandwiches. It was very busy so we had a bit of a wait before we received them. They were worth the wait as they tasted delicious. Someone even brought them out to our car for us. A great start to the morning.
A coffee shop with 14th century origins - lovely coffee and cakes. Then a BONUS, we were treated to a tour of the Victorian theatre which is attached to the coffee shop building. This a gem of a building just waiting to be renovated. Jo, our guide, was excellent. Passionate about the building and the people who have passed through its doors, she gave us a fantastic tour. Many thanks and good luck with the project. We'll be back.
Found this place on the second day . Lovely icecream on the sea front . Lots of seats to sit and unwind . There were very busy which was lovely to see . I could sit and people watch all day .
My friend and I came here this morning, the first time for me. It was a lovely place to come with our babies, and the coffee and brownies were particularly lovely! Staff were friendly. Parking was a bit of a mission as it was busy when I arrived, but I did manage to park at the back of the church. Will definitely visit again!
This visit wasn’t my first, I have visited on lots of different occasions whether it was for breakfast, lunch, take away or just for a coffee.
Each and every visit has been always faultless, the staff are all so friendly & work hard to provide fantastic service & food.
The food is always delicious whether it be breakfast or lunch & the cakes are something else!
You will not be disappointed with a visit here!

I had been to Pinewood Bar and Café for a family members wedding reception around 10 years ago and loved it then, so my Husband and I felt we needed to have our Wedding reception there too.
I am so glad we did...
The communication leading up to the event was brilliant and the staff couldn't have been more helpful before and on the day.
The hall was perfect for what we needed and we also loved the cozy pub, we had more room than we knew what to do with.
If you're looking for a place to host any event I would definitely recommend Pinewood Bar & Café
Pat's Sandwich Bar provided the food for an afternoon tea party for a gathering of friends and family. The comments about the food were exceptional, especially the sandwiches, so much so that they disappeared before I had a chance to get one! I can thoroughly recommend Pat's to supply the food for a gathering, freshly prepared and attractively presented. All helped by the setting at Hanger Farm in Totton.
Lovely coffee friendly staff lovely place to visit. Has a pools and lots on the menu a great place for the kids lovely family day out very reasonable prices
