The best restaurants in England

By far the best pizza I've had from any independent pizzeria. Great prices, incredibly friendly staff.

A popular pub with good service even when busy. On my our visit, the ale choice was uninspiring. However, this was a blessing in a way as I had a perfect pint of Guinness, the best I had for years. Perfectly poured in a spotless glass.

Third year we have visited The Blue Hut. Friendly staff and stunning drinks on offer. We would recommend the frappe or the milkshake to anyone. Might be the best ice cream to be found in Cornwall. Miss it, and miss out.

It was the first time that I visited this cafe' with my 2 year old. The place has a soft play for his age and a very well furnished little cafe', where you can have food, drinks and snacks at affordable prices. Facilities are clean and appropriate for families, with lots of interesting entertainment. Most importantly, the cafe has its own car park and easy access. Kids eat for free during holidays, that is an interesting detail for everyone that is struggling with the high cost of living. I highly recommend it.

Visited today with an old friend and cannot recommend this place highly enough. Lovely bright decor, relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the coffee is without doubt the best in Barnstaple. Stuart knows his craft and his coffee is the best I've tasted in years.

Been wanting to try Vinnies pizzas after a lot of good reviews, finally came today and wasn't disappointed! Vinnie is a lovely guy who is passionate about what he does and you can tell in the food he creates. Best pizza I've had the pleasure of trying and will be back as soon as possible!

The staff are absolutely amazing! They’re so friendly and welcoming, would highly recommend coming here for your morning coffee or to grab some lunch.

First time visit, and will NOT be the last, ultimate bacon sandwich was perfect, nice thick bacon cooked to perfection, And the Easter Egg Cheesecake, is a must to try, 100% recommend, and i will see you again. Due not being able to leave another review, im gonna update this one, I have visited a couple of more times, and every time i get something different, but still get the great home cooked taste, The raspberry brownie is a party of tastes, defo must, whilst there i got a chocolate egg rolo cheesecake, which my wife enjoyed. The only problem with the scotch egg was, i ONLY BOUGHT ONE........ See you again soon Bob
