The Blue Hut in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Incredible ice cream (I was allowed to try the chocolate before buying and my first instinct was to swear, so sorry to the others in the harbour!) Honestly the best chocolate ice cream I’ve ever tasted. Love that it’s handmade! The gentleman serving was extremely lovely.

I had today what I can honestly state was the best chocolate ice cream I’ve ever tasted! My husband had the salted caramel and thoroughly enjoyed it as well I’ve also had their strawberries and cream flavour, delicious. Best ice cream in the area by far 🍦 🥰

Visited Mevagissey today only to find a lot of tiresome hype over a flashy new ice cream store so decided to do an objective comparison of the ice cream available in the harbour area. If you value high quality at a good price you can't beat the Blue Hut. Compared with the other sellers the Blue Hut's ice cream was rich and creamy, like ice cream used to be. Lots of choice of flavours and large servings. Don't know how they do it for the price. We had a good laugh with Jeremy too!

Friendly polite young lad serving. Can recommend the black cherry ice cream. Good portion sizes but a bit pricey. To be expected I suppose as right on the harbour front.

Really friendly guy, we had a yummy raspberry & white chocolate milkshake topped with squirty cream and strawberry sauce 😁😋

Absolutely charming place, lovely people running it who were very kind to the children and yummy yummy ice cream! Recommend a stop there!

From the lovely service to the selection of ice creams and the location this was a thoroughly fab experience. The ice creams are from a company called Gerry’s Originals in Launceston. They taste out of this world. And large portions too.

Wonderful to find a genuine small local business, and currently the only ice cream on the quay that's not one of the big firms. Lovely service, and delicious ice cream.

A great selection of ice cream and sorbet, even milkshakes. Our family tried all of the flavours and we were not disappointed. By day 4 of our holiday one of the lovely girls remembered us and knew my daughter’s order so she just walked up and asked for the usual. There were 2 very friendly young ladies working and they were both very helpful. We visited at least once a day.
