Me and my wife were invited to lunch at The Stock Market Grill, by my stepson, who works there.
For a Sunday lunch it was extremely quiet, but I personally took that as a good thing, as we would get served quicker!
The decor was absolutely beautiful, the restaurant is located on the original trading floor of the stock exchange.
We were greeted with a small glass of champagne each and each member of staff was so welcoming and so happy to see my stepson, which was lovely.
I had the steak tartare starter, which, considering it was my first time trying this, and it was topped with an egg yolk (I’m not an egg person at all), it was sensational!
My wife had the Waldorf salad which was lovely but far too large for a starter. We’re not complaining haha!
We both had the beef for main which was so tender, the beef dripping potatoes were dreamy, the creamed leeks and glazed carrots divine, and the side of chargrilled asparagus was off the scale!!
For desert I had two pieces of brown butter fudge (that’s all I could manage after the main), and my wife had the profiteroles. They looked beautiful and tasted of Ferrero Rocher so my wife was more than pleased!!
Overall we have never had Sunday lunch in such grand surroundings. But I’m amazed that there have only been 6 reviews prior to mine since this establishment opened. The food was wonderful, the customer service more so,
and it needs more recognition as this is truly a gem for Manchester, and it deserves shouting about!!
If you’re craving a delicious bagel packed with fresh ingredients for a good price, look no further. The bagels are incredible—this place truly offers an authentic New York-style bagel….absolutely delicious and my new go to treat after a stroll into Margate….yum!
We stopped in for a cream tea after a nice walk through the woods and enjoyed the cream tea. The scones were delicious- best we’ve ever had! Lovely ladies too! Highly recommend :)
Having completed our walk at Idless woods we noticed a sign for a cafe and farmshop....so turned right and went to explore.
It's a beautiful setting, part garden nursery, part Art gallery, Farmshop and of course cafe! It's a very rural, quiet setting and we really enjoyed the relaxed feel.
Coffee and earl grey tea were delicious and the pooches got some biscuits.
Lovely food. We eat them regularly. Food is always ready when we collect it, warm, big portions and VERY, VERY tasty. My favourite take away in Bridgend.
Omg! I just tried their vegan cesar chicken burger and it is literally the best burger I’ve ever had! So good I didn’t even have chance to take a pic to share on here! I’ve also had their vegan beef burger on another occasion recently which was also fantastic. Defo worth popping in! Really good value for money too and the service was excellent. Their skin on fries are also amazing. Perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Will be going again. Ordered it as takeaway tonight.
Fantastic lunch at this lovely tea rooms.Home made soup and the egg mayo sandwiches both were lovely. The atmosphere is so relaxing.Great service, very attentive and the prices are good
My daughter wanted pizza and Da Vinci Restaurant is the place for a nice one. The pizza was a very good size and the price level is very decent. My wife just had a starter which was delicious .Drinks were good value for money- the gin&tonic I won’t comment on. Service was very friendly and fast. The Restaurant is not really the place to stay for a long time - it could do with a bit more ambience- but it certainly delivers in terms of food!
PASSED THIS PLACE MANY TIMES AND ONLY RECENTLY WAS IT RECOMENDED SO WE GAVE IT A TRY AND THE ITALIAN MELT AND PERI PERI LEBANESE WRAP WERE VERY TASTY, FRIENDLY STAFF AND A LOVELY SET UP, WILL RETURN
googled " best breakfast near me" whilst in Stoke for the night. this place showed up and did not disappoint. both hubs full English and my veggie brekkie' were delicious, generous portions. extremely friendly and helpful staff.
We had an amazing experience hosting throwing our one year old golden retriever puppy her first birthday at the Dog & Bean. They met with us early, helped design a budget that fit our gathering and even planned out the perfect three-tier dog cake (there were delicious vegan and regular cupcakes for the human guests). They thought of everything down to the smallest detail, golden retriever cut out bunting with our dog's name on it, coloring sheets for the kids and take home bags with treats and toys for the dog guests. I can't recommend them enough - we also love stopping in after school for cups of tea and their delicious shortbread cookies (plus puppacinos and sausages for our dogs!) Thanks again Dog & Bean and we'll be seeing you soon for sure.
T is all down to taste and getting it still hot .. Quaggies Kitchen is without doubt the best one round Lewisham, Blackheath, Lee, Kidbroke and I think they deliver out to Eltham etc. They are based near the centre of Lewisham. So Catford is also cool.
You won’t get better elsewhere.
