It's a little odd but it's pretty hard to find a great coffee in rye.
I only drink black coffee so I like one with flavor instead of just a cup of black water
I stumbled across this place after walking from camber and I'm so happy I did. The lady who runs it was super nice to me and my dog and makes a great cup of coffee
We took a large group to the restaurant and had a delicious Sri Lankan dinner. Indi was so helpful and provided less spicy dishes for some of our guests so that everybody was happy. We took our own wine as the restaurant is waiting for a licence.
I also sometimes have a simple lunch with friends at the restaurant and it is always a success.
I would recommend it for both the British (lunchtime) and Sri Lankan dishes.
Excellent family business. We were made to feel very welcome.
Tea in real china cup’s fantastic value for money a good range of light lunches and breakfasts and snacks. service was quick and food delicious. Cakes were massive and yummy. Best to book though as it was really busy.
We were staying locally snd wanted to get a bit closer to some of the famous highland cows.
We were taken on a walk though the farm firlds by the owner Jane to meet the different groups of cows including some really young ones. Jane was fascinating providing insight into the running of the farm and Highland Fold business, the farm ecosystem and the North Atlantic rainforest plus of course the star attraction highland cows themselves! We had a fabulous afternoon and would highly recommend the experience plus the barn cafe where we had coffee, delicious cake and ice cream!
I have walked past this place many times and wondered what it was like. I didn’t know they did take aways but they do so we tried one on Saturday night. We ordered lots of different dishes including their green curry and salt & pepper chips. It was absolutely delicious and everyone said it was one of the best take away meals they had ever had. We will definitely be ordering here again and I only wished I had found it sooner!
Twenty six members of our Southport Friendship group lunched there today, (16/05/23) Food good, staff perfect. This was our second time there, and we'll go back..
We weren't sure about this place since it only had 9 reviews but decided to give it a try. I can certainly see why all 9 reviews were so high. This place has great food. I had the Buffalo Chicken Melt on sourdough. My mate had the breakfast Toasty We usually try each other's dishes to see what they taste like but she liked hers so well she didn't even want to give up a bite and frankly neither did I! We definitely would have been back the next day if our schedule had allowed it.
The breakfast brioche, cake and coffee were all honestly outstanding. Freshly cooked food, not greasy at all and very tasty. The coffee is one of the best I've had! The atmosphere is very cosy and laid back and the toilets were very clean (and a great baby-changing facility is always welcome!)
Absolutely delicious food! We had a super evening enjoying every single element of the tasting menu. The food was exceptional value given the quality! Highly recommend!
