Brilliant late afternoon early evening with a tipsy tea! Food was excellent and an array of cocktails to choose from. They were fabulous. Kids had a selection of mocktails. Brilliant value for money. Great time had by all. Lovely staff. Xx

Came to the swan for Sunday lunch. Fantastic customer service from the start. Locally sourced food is delicious. Friendly and so welcoming from everyone. It’s such a breath of fresh air to come a beautiful old fashioned pub and have such fantastic staff. Our food was amazing! The beef just melts in your mouth. Thank you so much for the gluten free Yorkshire pudding for my daughter. Great selection on the menu and not over the top. I love homemade soup which I had to start which was delicious! before my roast beef. What I really love about this pub is the atmosphere. The back room where you go through to the garden had lots of laughter and children enjoying themselves. I heard singing from the kitchen and loved it. Lovely lady called Jenny and such a credit to the pub. Thank you to Jon the chef and jenny for a wonderful afternoon. 10 stars from me ⭐️

Wow had such a pleasant visit last week to the wooden box cafe , such a welcoming atmosphere, staff were polite and helpful , we decided to have a snack as well as some of the delicious coffee . The sausage rolls were fresh and tasted amazing ! All the food we saw looked so fresh and tempting . We would recommend to anyone visiting ramsgate to try there . 100% we will become new regulars .

Went for breakfast before we got on the boat home - excellent food and great, friendly service - just wished we discovered it when we arrived on the island so that we could have used it more - really enjoyed our visit

I had a lovely afternoon making and tasting macarons, Emma was a fantastic host and instructor. All the macarons I brought home are disappearing very quickly! I would highly recommend this for anyone interested in baking or just looking for a great way to spend an afternoon with friends or family

Met with three friends for the first time here and can't fault anything had a nice cooked breakfast good coffee and tea friendly service will be back

My first visit here - I had the beetroot and coconut latte with the Boston sausage toastie… followed by blueberry cake. All I can say 10/10 absolutely delicious. I loved the decor and the staff and service was great. What a good spot , I will be back

Having heard lots of good recommendations for here , we went today and I'm so glad we did. The food was amazing. The lady who served us was lovely and nothing was to much trouble. It had a lovely atmosphere. Every where was clean . We would definitely return and I will recommend it to everyone.

Before coming home from a short stay in Bakewell we called into the Jolly Fat Chef for a coffee. Lovely coutyard setting and nice coffees. Thank you.

Review is a little bias, I am not a fan of crepes but was taken here as was highly rated. The service was really slow. Had finished our drinks and still waiting for the crepes. If you do like crepes then I would suggest the sweet option. I had the savoury hot dog crepe, was not very nice. My partner and son however enjoyed the crepes they ordered. If you like crepes this place is for you. It is a small cosy cafe.
