My friends and I had an outstanding dining experience at Zuma London! The food was incredible—every dish was prepared with exceptional skill and tasted amazing. The miso soup, in particular, was a standout, with its rich, deep flavor that was absolutely delightful. We chose the set menu, which was perfectly curated to showcase a variety of dishes, all beautifully presented and full of flavor. The ambiance was lively yet sophisticated, making it a perfect place for a special night out. Highly recommend Zuma London for anyone seeking a truly unforgettable dining experience!

Went to Zuma Thursday evening for the first time, we got off to a good start with a warm greeting on arrival. The atmosphere was fab, good music and vibes which we love. We were unsure what to order but were given some help from our waitress and Kostas. The food was spectacular, a real taste bud treat ! So thank you very much Kostas, your recommendations were perfect and the service and attention to detail was exceptional. We will for sure be back. Thank you.

This restaurant should get the lowest rating because it takes its customers for granted . It always gives an impression that it is full and difficult to get a table when in fact many tables are empty. The food has also deteriorated. People only come here for the music and a club like atmosphere. Not worth the money spent on the food . Stay away from it

Madre mía, que sobrevalorado está este sitio!!!! Ni de lejos cuesta lo que se paga. Es caro no, estratosférico. Aunque el sushi está bien, sin más, para nada es un bocado exquisito que compense lo que se paga por él (por 5 makis con carne de waygu pagamos cuarenta y cuatro euros. Salimos pagando 400 euros al cambio por comer dos niños y dos adultos y fuimos directos a buscar algo donde comer de verdad, porque realmente yo salí con bastante hambre. La comida más cara de nuestras vidas, que encima ni siquiera nos dejó buen sabor de boca. Mucho postureo en el restaurante, mucha gente bien.. Nosotros nos equivocamos al seguir una recomendación. Espero que sirva para que no le pase a otros.

Han estado viniendo aquí desde que abrió en 2004. El personal es muy amable, siempre acogedor, incluso si no he estado por un tiempo. La comida es excelente, no se puede negar que, sin embargo, se ha vuelto muy muy caro. Encontré una factura de 2013 y ahora es 100% más cara. ¡Así que es más un regalo especial ahora! ¡mejor cuando no estás pagando la cuenta!

An amazing place and food could not be faltered. Don't order the tasting menu if have table for 2 hours. Amazing amount of food but feels rushed at 2 hours

Zuma is always excellent. Service, food and specially the atmosphere are unique. Everything was as our expectations. We will come back sure.

The venue is centrally located and easy to reach, with a vibrant atmosphere that’s always buzzing. The staff are friendly and efficient, and booking in advance is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. The food was fantastic, with an extensive menu offering plenty of choices. Unfortunately, we didn’t book in time and were seated at the counter overlooking the kitchen. While we were happy to have a table, it wasn’t the most comfortable experience, especially if you get the corner seats. The stone-effect counter had a protruding edge that made it difficult to sit comfortably, particularly for taller individuals. Given the high standards of the restaurant, this design feature felt a bit out of place. One concern I had was observing the kitchen staff. While they seemed passionate and energized, I noticed several instances where food was handled with bare hands rather than food-grade gloves, which is standard practice in most high-end establishments. On a few occasions, I saw the senior chef touch the middle portions of cut steaks, possibly to check quality and temperature, but it was off-putting, especially since their hands were touching various surfaces and items and restaurant in the kitchen in between. Despite this, overall, it was a good experience.

i love this restaurant and always go to one in dubai which is bit mire expensive than the on in London but i always have problem finding table because the venue in london is much smaller but location is perfect

Celebrated my birthday here with some family and friends. The service and the food was outstanding. The atmosphere was vibrant all throughout the evening. We had also called in advance to arrange a special birthday plate and vegan cake which our waiter kindly organised for us at the end of the meal. Highly recommend you go and try, very good place.

Good Afternoon, I am writing as I want to provide you with some feedback regarding our experience at your London restaurant that me a little deflated, to say the least. I decided to book Zuma to celebrate my birthday. The event was noted on the reservation. When we arrived we were seated at a table for two people. Shortly after our arrival they also seated another couple at the table right next to us. The distance between the 2 tables was a wine bucket away and I felt like I am actually sharing a table with two strangers. I could hear every word they were saying and I am sure they could hear us. I felt so uncomfortable that tried to diminish the discussion to just generic topics. I would have thought that when a special occasion is specified on the booking form you would have the common sense to give the party a little more privacy and in particular when it is a couple. We went through the entire evening being sat with strangers whose conversation I could hear word for word. Moreover, as the table were so closed together the waiter’s behind was almost brushing into me when he had to come and tend to them. On occasions, I actually had to lean back as he could have nudged me while serving them. We eventually got to the desserts. We had clarified previously whose birthday it was but nevertheless they asked if it was Andrew’s and we clarified that it wasn’t. When the desserts were brought they actually had the HB greeting written on the wrong plate! The headed up to my husband with the plate singing the HB song! We then had to clarify that it was actually my birthday. They then turned around and continued to sing to me, stopped when they got to the name as they did not know it and then placed the plate with the BDay greeting in front of me when it was not my dessert! The waiter stated that it was my birthday but they had mixed and matched the plates! The plates were then left the wrong way round with the wrong dessert and BDay plate in front of me. I actually dislike chocolate and had to look at it with a Bday wish. We thought that they would come back and move the desserts at least to match the order but they just left them there and after a while we had to swap them ourselves! So my husband ate his dessert with the BDay wish on the plate. To add insult to injury, the manager then came over and headed to my husband to wish him Happy Birthday to which we had to again explain that it was not him. I only presume that he was guided by the plate. It is beyond me why they did not go back to the kitchen to fix the issue when they clearly well knew that they had made an error. It was downright awkward and insulting. A birthday is a personal day so it is beyond me how one can just dump the wrong dessert with a wish and let somebody else eat it! They might as well not have bothered! It was awkward and insulting. I definitely expected better for the price of £360 pounds or £180 pp. I would not come back nor would I recommend. I have never been insulted before by a commercial establishment on my Birthday. It is beyond me how you could call yourself a luxury dining establishment when you cannot observe a simple etiquette that Pizza Express can probably handle better. At a loss….You left me offended and I regret booking Zuma. Never again! Regards

As with every hyped London restaurant i was a bit sceptical but thankfully Zuma proved me wrong. From their tartare with caviar to their yellowfin tuna ceviche and grilled wagyu everything was great. The menu is full of well thought flavor combinations fusing Japanese and European cuisines while using top notch ingredients. Table service was also the best we have experienced in a London restaurant. All this comes with an expensive price but I would definitely recommend the place for a special occasion or if you got the money to spend.

Always excellent food quality and excellent service, i am a fan of this restaurant where i have been going for years and was never disappointed. The sashimi platters are exceptional and the sushi/maqi of the best quality. I will return at least two times this week.

A very beautiful and highly rated place, it's a shame that in such a multicultural city that receives so many tourists, the place is not prepared to receive visitors from other countries. We were greeted with prejudice at the door because we were wearing street clothes and at the reception, despite the restaurant being empty, they didn't let us sit down. In London, as usual it was raining a lot and they made us wait for the taxi outside, in the rain and cold. A horrible experience. I think they should think that the tourist who looks for the place despite not being dressed for the occasion like the locals perhaps plan to, has money and often much more budget to spend on a vacation trip. We are on a 30-day trip visiting the best restaurants, staying only in five-star hotels and after making several purchases, we did some quick research and decided to go to Zuma. If they had been less prejudiced about outings, and as they were quite judgmental, they would have noticed the LV, Prada and Zegna bags that we were holding as we were coming straight from our last outing, which was visiting Harrods. Anyway, if you're a tourist and haven't spent hours getting ready, don't even try to go near it. I understand that many places require reservations, but even if they were full they could have been more hospitable and let us wait sheltered out of the rain since they didn't let us sit down and have dinner.

Without the shadow of a doubt, absolutely outstanding food, (premium tasting menu) and good service. The reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 and my “good service” instead of “great”is twofold. 1) the first 2 (multiple dishes) courses of the menu were served in a rush! We had to ask twice for them to slow down! And even then it’s only thanks to the intervention of a senior staff member, Frenchman Jean-Michel, that the pace sarted to become more normal! 2) when one pays close to £500 for a dinner for two in a restaurant of this standard and reputation, one is entitled to expect to have decent “durable” (if not necessarily “designer”) chopsticks! Instead they use the same cheap, wooden ones as in any Wagamama-style eatery!?!? Honestly!??? And when we commented on that, the answer was “for hygiene reasons”!??? Really??? Do they not have dishwashers??? Plus for eating the dessert they gave us metal cutlery. So go figure why such cheap, horrible wooden chopsticks…

Read service and really great sushi, tempura and robata. Definitely pricey, but we had a great time and so I have to says good value.

Avoid. Service is so poor and top management useless. They need to change their management urgently!!!

Amazing, fresh Japanese food. The location is great, slightly tucked away from the main road through Knightsbridge. Everything from the grilled food to fresh sushi is just delicious, especially the nigiri. I would also suggest leaving room for dessert, they never disappoint. After going here three times, I can confidently recommend Zuma for anything from a spontaneous lunch to a special birthday dinner.

A Hong Kong dessert shredded banana, that exceptional with Swiss, French, British and Isreal. That is not Hokkaidō, that is great. Friendly, welcoming service, many a fine dish has nothing on it.

WOW! Exceptional, creative and tasty dishes beautifully executed. Friendly, welcoming service; nothing was too much trouble. The desserts were amazing. Some dishes were rather overpriced for what they were like the beef and the chicken skewers. Next time we’ll know what to choose for better value.

If you’ve ever been to Japan, Zuma will be a disappointment. It brands itself as an izakaya, but is really a bar with loud music and a bunch of tables. The sashimi was fresh, but curiously tasteless; the fried calamari was overly breaded and dry; a vegetable dish was too salty to eat ( though a replacement was offered). The service, however, was exceptional.

The food at zuma is always out of this world, especially their grilled food and the black cod. On the expensive side, about £200 for 2 but you pay for the quality.

I loved EVERYTHING!! The signature menu (12 courses) was amazing. The zuma collada cocktail tasted delicious. We had to wait 15 minutes for one course but my husband got his preferred way of cooked meat. It is so easy to book online.
