Started going to this place when it was new. It was quieter then. Very popular because the food is amazing. One of the best Korean bbq places I've been to

Food is always soul-touching! Staff were friendly and welcoming.

I went yesterday to celebrate a friend’s birthday, the food was tasty and delicious we really enjoyed but unfortunately the service was terrible, they do not check our bbq or explain anything about how it works just left the bbq on the table and disappear, we request a candle on one of our dessert for my friend when we booked the table, at the end of the meal they did not even offer us the dessert menu or nothing we just asked for the bill, I paid the service charge but they did not deserve it, we were very disappointed.

one of the best kbbq I have had in London! really small and cozy atmosphere, with incredible sides. Would recommend: seafood pancake, bibimbap, and the spicy pork belly!

Just OKAY. The food is good, but portions are really small (17£ for five prawns…), and the choice among bbq options isn’t that large.

The food at Gogi tasted good except that the sweet and spicy chicken was rather sweet than spicy and the dumplings we ordered were still cold inside. But it certainly tasted good

Came here for a family event and it did not disappoint. Food was good and ambience was good but the service from the Japanese server was outstanding. It made the evening so different from what was expected.

Unreal. Easily the best KBBQ I've had in London, and somehow the desert (sweet potato cake) managed to be even better.

Please dont book terrace if you Dont want guests outside. Ot was obvious that there is no one in charge for terrace.

Food was so good and staff were lovely. Environment was nice and would definitely go there again. Highly recommend. We travelled over 1 hour and half to go and would do it again.

My daughter and I had a lovely time! It was a Friday night and so they had loads of online orders coming through ! They explained clearly to me yet the order was brought quickly and it was just great ! Will come back.

Excellent service and a great ambience. We had never eaten Korean food before and the waiter showed us what to do and even taught my wife to use chopsticks.

I ordered from this restaurant via Deliveroo. I ordered two pancakes and only received one. It appears that the restaurant could only provide one pancake and amended my order without bothering to contact me, resulting in me being charged extra fees and taking away my 20% discount. I urge this restaurant to use common sense and decency and actually inform customers if you cannot fulfil their order. I really enjoy the food you serve but this experience has resulted in you losing a customer.

Disappointing night. Ordered some crispy chicken & was told there was none left so we ordered the pancakes instead, along with crispy tofu, some dumplings, bao buns & rice. Food started arriving before drinks & had to request them again. Some crispy chicken arrived, even though we were told there was none - it was a different flavour to what we originally wanted but kept it anyway. Thank god we did as that was the only enjoyable food that arrived. The bao buns were very dull, the dumplings were bland and the pancakes were greasy. The tofu was awful but, to be fair, that may just be tofu - we ordered it having never tried it before. Then, about 15 minutes after we'd finished eating our rice turned up, so that didn't get touched. Really disappointed.

Particular thanks to the servers, who were patient and very helpful. Food was very good, though our Korea-resident companion said that he'd had even better elsewhere. It was noisy, fine for younger folk, but harder work for the grey-haired!

Absolutely fantastic Korean bbq food! And the vibe inside the place was cute and cosy, perfect for a date. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing. A great experience and we plan to go again.

Honestly, this was the worst service that we had in any restaurant in London. Do not recommend specially rude waiter that needs to learn some manners

We went in for dinner today and the waiter was very rude! We asked if we can have the barbecue premium platter and to add a rib eye steak on top and kindly remove the mapo galbi. The women waiter was very respectful in explaining they could not so we said we will pay additional money. Then a male waiter comes with long hair and was rude giving attitude and huffing and puffing. Although we still wanted to eat there because of this waiter’s attitude we left. I really believe you should reconsider staff.

Very tasty menu, a variety of selection of meat to cook, as well as ready dishes. Was super fullfilling, with great service and recommendations right from the waiters. We had a fantastic time and an amazing and tasty meal

My partner and I went as he’s a huge fan of Korean Barbecue, it was outstanding! The staff are welcoming and attentive, the food was lovely. It’s only a 4* because our grill kept turning off, but the staff were very quick to switch it back on every time. They were having problems in the kitchen at the time which limited their menu and obviously put strain on the staff, but the service and quality of food remained outstanding which is a testament to the high quality of this restaurant.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here recently and had a great time. Very delicious food with a range of choices. Nicely presented and tasted absolutely great. Thoroughly enjoyed 👍🏽 bit pricey but worth the money 🙏🏽

Loved this place! Great food, very nice and helpful staff. We didn’t have a reservation and although they were fully booked, seeing our disappointment and how tired we were (had just arrived after a 4 hour flight) they found a solution for us . Our waiter helped us decide what to order and showed us how to use the Korean barbecue. Totally authentic Korean experience and highly recommended!

Excellent Overall. Cozy little restaurant, Authentic modern style Korean BBQ with an excellent wine collection. Had the Premium BBQ set with Pajeon and Banchan/Kimchi - quality of meat and marinade flavour was excellent - not too sweet like some London K-BBQ spots. Excellent and friendly service - 100% would return.

Went with my friends for a NYE dinner. The food was really nice, my favourite was the bulgogi beef for the Korean BBQ, got some beef and prawn dumplings as well which were nice. The chicken for the BBQ wasn't really good but I just prefer beef for the BBQs anyway. The service wasn't the best, we got in and waited for a long time for the waiter to take our order, we ordered a drink and dumplings as a starter while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive but they didnt bring the food until after everyone got in and ordered even though we've asked to get them while we wait. They were closing at 10:30 which we were aware of but was pointed out to us multiple times and not in the nicest way either. We ate our food and left like 10 mins before the closing time. Food is great but the friendliness of the staff could be improved! :)

Marinade is not very balanced, too salty for most of the BBQ platter.

Great place especially with friends to enjoy Korean bbq. The menu has a good selection for both vegan and meat eaters. It was fun cooking the food on the bbq. Good mention for the pinot Grigio from Hungary.

The honey garlic fried chicken was sooooo slay. Also had the bulgolgi and pork neck and no complaints here. The atmosphere was lovely- I took off one star there only because I’m a bit 🤨 cause what’s with Korean restaurants in the UK and not giving banchan for free?!?! We need to set a new precedent guys.

Fantastic restaurant, this is our second visit after being bowled over last time. This time we invited my parents who were also equally happy. They loved the food & cooking their own dish. Thank you we will be back next time we’re in London

First time here for us. It was nice and busy. Lots on the menu, but no one told us we needed to ring a bell on the wall to let someone know we were ready to order. Took us a while to figure this out. The two mains were fantastic - tofu bimimbab and pork buns. Our starters were forgotten and came out after we asked, but we had already eaten our mains. The vegetable pancake didn’t really taste of anything and was quite greasy. We would definitely go back and try more.

Had a great experience at Gogi. The food was unreal & of a very good quality whilst still being reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive & helpful which helped make it a memorable visit. Will definitely be visiting again & was well worth the journey from South London

We went for my 18th birthday gift. Unfortunately, there were no introduction question as to whether we’ve been before and if we knew what to do. When the heat was turned on, we didn’t realise until late that ours was extremely high compared to others around us, which resulted in our meat burning quickly. We had to call an assistant to clean our grill as it was impossible to cook on the burnt film. We looked around to see if we were doing it right and noticed an assistance cooking for another customer. If only we thought of that initially to get us going. I found it difficult at times to cook because the heat and the steel tongs provided were very hot on my thumb and finger - as a result of the high heat. There wasn’t much taste to our meat platter and when I asked if they have pepper sauce, they bought a mini bowl of salt n pepper ….. gosh!! Don’t get me wrong, I’d try it again with help, lower fire and pepper sauce- lol. Oh! By the way …. The cocktails are not that great on alcohol, so probably best to order bottle drinks. Enjoy - mwah 💋

First time at GOGI. Great dining experience. Staff were very welcoming, friendly, and very attentive. The food was delicious. We did the bbq experience. I also had the sead food udon noodles, which I would recommend. Great little spot for our anniversary dinner.

Hard not to compare korean bbq experiences from different countries (US, S Korea, etc.) there are certain standards and things you should expect like: - Free banchan - Bbq grill changes - making sure that the exhaust vent is working before making it available for customers This place didnt have free banchan. £3 per banchan for a super tiny portion seemed greedy. Did not change the grill. So if you have tons of meat or seafood to cook, good luck and hope you enjoy the burnt leftover crusts. You expect to smell like smoke coming out of a korean bbq place. But when you find out that the exhaust doesn’t work mid-cook and no more option to switch tables… *sigh* Meat was just ok. Will definitely try other places before coming back here.

Adequate Korean cuisine. Rather salty sause. Not cheap but not expensive. Service charge automatically applied to bill. Nice view from widow seat. Toilets dirty with downstairs access close to kitchen preparation. Comfortable piped music.

The food was very nice. We could not calculate well how much to order for the BBQ for 4 people so we ordered more from other sections of the menu afterwards as we were still peckish after the BBQ. That turned out to be quite good as we ended up trying lots of different things. Seafood pancakes and bulgogi bun were my favourites.

Fast, friendly service and delicious food. The only thing that was slightly uncomfortable was the lack of leg room under the BBQ tables, but I assume this is unavoidable because of the BBQ.

We came for Sunday lunch and it was very crowded. Food was nice, but there was a lot of sugar in our soups. Tasty, but very sweet. Service was ok, but guys just take orders and then bring food, nobody came to ask how was our food, do we want anything else to eat or drink. We had to catch our waiter to ask for a bill.

A great variety of Korean dishes with great service all round

Good quality Korean BBQ restaurant. Food are fresh and served with good portions. Atmosphere is good as they play k-pop in the background. Though the restaurant is a bit small, and you are sitting very closely to other people. If you want some privacy or even a chat with your friends, I wouldn’t suggest this restaurant to have a catch up when you are dining in. Me and my friends keep shouting at each other as we can’t hear anything beside other people’s conversations and the background music.

Really good Korean restaurant which keep serving for more than 10 years already

Went on a Saturday evening at 1800hrs with my friend, was very busy. It was off to a great start with drinks and salad served fast. However there were 3 other tables who sat down after us and ordered after us who got all their starters, mains and bbq served before us. After 15 minutes it was disappointing that I had to ask the waitress if they forgot 4 dishes that had yet to be served this was not met with any apology. The food was good but slightly spoilt by rushed and forgetful waitresses. The delay in between the food courses meant we were full which could have been avoided if dishes came in promptly succession. Furthermore there was a potential fire risk incurred by a customer putting their pram blocking the only pathway access from where multiple people including myself was sitting. Although it was good authentic food, service was a let down.

Coming from Toronto did not expect Korean food in London to compare but the bibimbap was very tasty! Was not expecting to be charged for all the small side dishes (kimchee etc) as used to getting all of these free in Toronto, but I gather that is pretty standard in London.

We reached at 3 pm and the restaurant was very dirty. Floor was wet, with bits of food. No one could speak proper English so it was very difficult to communicate . We had prawn dumpling which were quite cold. Food was very average for the price. The hostess was lovely sweet, but sadly couldn’t understand what we wanted.

Nice restaurant in a nice part of london. We had the £45 bbq between two of us with some additions . I do love a bbq and for one night of the week, suddenly i know how to cook! The meats were beef and pork, very nice, the vegetable sides and sauces all very tasty. Staff were attentive and looked after us very well. If you are in W9 then definitely do have an evening here.
