Pho in City of London, Westminster

Roylan was my waiter and he was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for the service and the hospitality. The environment was clean and with a very special and warm atmosphere. The lights were dim and the overall vibe was calm. The food came with haste and the service was very sensitive and accommodating. They had a selection of side sauces which we could use according to our liking. Thank you so much, Pho, for the amazing experience.

Food was great and always is but the service was brilliant. It’s friendly, informative and super welcoming. Lots of Londons high end restaurants should take lessons from this Pho.

The worst “pho” ever. They aren’t even Vietnamese but trying to appropriate the cuisine for profit. There’s so many real Vietnamese businesses to support. This ain’t it. These people are unethical, and the broth isn’t even close to correct.

When you go for pho it’s literally all about the broth, well, this broth tasted like sock water. Don’t waste your time. Gentrified pho. It’s not even authentic, yt owner. We were told by the party sitting next to us that the owner also happened to trademark the name “pho”???? That’s like some random fool doing it with the name “pizza”.

Using Vietnamese national dish as your trademarked name and suing small business for using the word Pho is disgusting. Lost my appetite before eating.

So, the reason I'm even on this page is because I keep talking about the spicy chicken cu-ri I had a couple of months back ans am trying to replicate it. I had no right to expect something that delicious from a noodle chain but here I am... Go here. Eat. Rejoice.

Don’t bother with this tacky chain, it’s just a bunch white guys cashing in and have no clue. Pho broth completely unauthentic and salty, and so overpriced. They trademarked the word “pho” which gives me the absolute ick - such audacity in business terms to hold ownership over the name of a national dish of the Vietnamese when clearly they don’t know what they’re doing with the dish, and they’re taking away the right for authentic mum and dad restaurant owners to use that word in the name of their restaurant. Utterly disgusting and unethical. Never getting my money again!

absolutely safe for CELIACS & plenty of vegetarian/vegan options :)) & the most delicious food • we were a group of 6 - we got a table without any reservation - all our food was just great. the staff couldn’t be more friendly & nice with knowledge about food intolerances & celiac disease. • 98% on the menu is GLUTEN FREE - & the whole deserts are suitable for celiacs. • highly recommend the green curries 🍛 & the pho / it was just perfect. definitely a hot spot in the middle of SOHO - we will be back soon to try the desserts aswell.

Reliable, authentic Vietnamese food with fast and friendly service. The Soho branch was cosy but busy so it's a good sign that dishes and ingredients turn over quickly and are fresh. The summer rolls as well as steak pho and beef combo pho were decent with flavoursome broth, however the beef brisket could have been more tender (given the cut it was probably not slow-cooked enough). Overall we'd happily return to this branch or another branch as a reasonably priced and dependable staple Vietnamese joint.

Great food, lovely service. Prices are what you'd expect in Soho. The Pho is perfect and fried rice is also a definite must.

I had dinner here with a friend and though the meal was good, the service was so aggressive and bad that it completely ruined the night. Considering this is in SoHo, where there are so many great restaurants — including other pho options — I suggest going elsewhere. For context, when we arrived we asked if they were still seating. They said “Yes, but you have to order quickly.” So we did! We ordered immediately. They could have easily said “Sorry, we’re not taking more orders tonight.” About 30 mins in we are close to finishing our meal and a staff member abruptly interrupts us with “Do I take this or want a container?” I totally understand they want us to go. I feel like I would have responded differently to “I’m sorry but we’re closing. Here is your bill. May I bring you containers for your leftovers?” Being kind wasn’t a concern for them. I replied “We’ll take containers.” As I’m grabbing my credit card to ask for the bill (despite the rush, we had to ask for the bill), another staff member grabs plates and napkins from our table and puts them in my unfinished bowl of noodles which I wanted to take home. I looked at her and said “I was going to take that.” She replied “Oh,” shrugged, and walked away. At multiple points in the night, a simple shift in their interactions could have made this a very different and completely reasonable dining experience.

Great spot for a workday birthday lunch, though would be hard to accommodate large groups. Quiet, good atmosphere, good food, attentive staff.

Excellent food, service and environment

First time trying Vietnamese food and very good experience, also suitable for celiacs. The place is very good, the waiter who served me was very friendly and recommended that I order from the gluten-free options (which are practically all of them). The truth is I loved it.
