A good restaurant marks firstly with the services you receive which makes it a memorable and comfortable place to enjoy a meal and gives it a 1, and the amazing food will add a 0, and the good atmosphere will add a 0 too, to make it a 100. But if you had a bad experience in the service you're only be left with Zero's which makes nothing of your experience. I have had a bad experience in this branch. I've waited to put an order more than 7 minutes, waiters were ignoring the hand wave. Table was dirty, no one came to clean. Knife was spilled on my husband, and i've changed cutlery twice because of cleanliness. Never expected such from a fine dining restaurant.

The worst and most disgusting restaurant ever. A gang that is hustling against you. Everyone has a rude and rude manner. When we are upset, we want to complain to a manager. No one responds to us. One of the worst experiences of dinning on 8/1/2025. Vegetarians and Vegan people should not go to this place. The Pizzas served was all covered in too much Tomato sauce/ gravy. Even though they said they can make it vegetarian, there was minimal vegetables on Pizza. It was like eating Tomato only. The staff was cordial. Never going to go to this place again.

Not the VIBE. Went having high expectations since Novikov is one of the best high quality restaurants however greatly disappointed and don’t think I will be going back again. Came in with a reservation and had to wait around 10-15 mins to get our table. Furthermore, we placed our order immediately as soon as we sat down and the order took over an hour to be delivered. We had to ask them 3 times about the order, when we told them that we will be leaving if the order won’t be coming any time soon, their manager came and tried to solve things out by promising us that the food will be coming in one minute! And yes it did arrive in that minute however we got plain white rice when we ordered shrimp fried rice! The disappointment! Waited very long just to get the white rice??? We informed them that it was the wrong order and they told us to keep the white rice and that they will hurry to get our correct order. The manager told us that he won’t be charging us on both rice’s which was the right thing to do, however wont make me come again. On the other hand, the food wasn’t great at all, it was very okay ! I have had other novikov food and this branch wasn’t in the top tier of quality and taste. The atmosphere was another thing we didn’t like, very noisy with loud music and the place was very dark, I wouldn’t say it’s a family friendly restaurant. I would suggest lowering the volume of the blasting music and keeping loud music in the club or bar area they have. :)

I been here for twice. First time was in summer 2024, it’s was sooooo goood. And that’s the reason I brought my sister in law here for her birthday. The tuna tata was excellent, especially is blue fin tuna. We ordered langoustine, the special steak of the day, and carbonara. Langoustine has nothing special which I thought would be very good since the price is high but a bit disappointing. The steak is horribly awful, we gave the chief another chance but still horrible, he doesn’t know how to cook the steak even the steak had used all excellent ingredients. The carbonara is very good, actually good their pasta are perfect taste. Which I will recommend to have any pasta or pizza for main course. Btw the first time I been in summer 2024 I had seafood platter and was very good as well. Conclusion, I have three stars because the steak and langoustine not good.

The person in charge of reservations at the Italian restaurant in Novikov London, her name is Sarah, is one of the worst employees to deal with, as she does not possess the professionalism in dealing, she is bad, repulsive to the restaurant, and does not respect the customers at all. We visited Novokov for a 2.30pm lunch on New Years Eve. The food was served warm and portions were small and of poor quality. The sea bass starter was non-existent on the plate and consisted on one mouthful of fish. The two main course portions of Lobster linguine were so salty it would appear that the chef may have dropped the whole salt pot in the pan! Both diners were unable to finish this £68 a head dish. Most attention appeared to be focused on foreign clientele and not English patrons. The mature lady on reception found it an imposition to fetch our coats from the cloakroom when leaving. This is not the sort of experience anyone should experience when paying over £140 per person for lunch. Other local restaurants offer a far better dining experience than Novokov which nowadays appears to be taking some diners for granted and just living of its past reputation.

Let’s start with the reception even though we have a reservation at 10:15 we waited till 10:45 to have our table Afterwards, we waited 20 minutes so that the waiter can take our orders however, our food came at 12 am and missing 2 orders after waiting one hour, not only the food we waited for as well our drinks! Unfortunately, our experience at Novi Cove was disappointing due to the poor service we received. The food arrived cold and unsatisfactory, and it was all due to a staff member named Luigi. When we spoke to him about the long delay—45 to 50 minutes—between the starter and the main course, his response was unprofessional and rude. He said, “this is an Italian restaurant, not a fast-food place. If you’re in a hurry, go to McDonald’s.” However, I would like to commend the restaurant manager, Ms. Tamara, who was very respectful, understanding, and helpful. I truly appreciate her efforts to improve the situation. Despite this, I do not recommend trying this restaurant, and I certainly won’t be returning, mainly because of Luigi’s unacceptable behavior.

I had high expectations for what was supposed to be one of Mayfair's most prestigious dining spots. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the mark, and I found it difficult to reconcile the restaurant's steep prices with the mediocre food and service on offer. In a city like London, where world-class dining is abundant, Novikov doesn’t come close to matching the calibre of restaurants like Zuma, CLAP, Sushi Samba, or even other high-end venues across Mayfair. Let’s begin with the atmosphere — or rather, the lack of it. Novikov aims for sophistication, but the ambiance felt confused. The music selection, which included artists like Amy Winehouse, Gabrielle, and Lamar, seemed more suited to a casual lounge than a fine-dining restaurant. It was an odd, jarring choice that didn’t align with the upscale image they seem to be cultivating. Instead of smooth, ambient tunes, we were subjected to what felt like a mix of retro hits that made the entire experience feel less refined than anticipated. Then, there’s the price. The £80 minimum spend per person (excluding drinks) is absurd for what’s essentially average fare. How anyone is expected to consume that much food in a single sitting is beyond me. I’ve dined regularly at the very best restaurants in Dubai and London, and while I understand that fine dining comes at a cost, Novikov falls short in comparison to places like Zuma, CLAP, or Sushi Samba, all of which offer far superior dining experiences at similar or even lower price points. Simply put, Novikov is the priciest of the bunch — but the experience doesn’t remotely live up to the cost. As for the food, it was just… fine. Certainly not bad, but nothing that made me want to return. For the prices charged, I expected far more — innovative flavours, impeccable presentation, and standout dishes. Instead, we were served food that was perfectly acceptable, but nothing more. There are so many places in London that do this kind of cuisine better, at a better value, with far more consistency. The service only added to the frustration. Over the course of our meal, we were attended to by no fewer than five different servers. The majority were disorganised and lacked any real knowledge of the menu, which detracted from the experience considerably. Only one server, a lady who took over toward the end of the meal, showed any professionalism and attention to detail — but by then, the damage was already done. I even mentioned to the manager that she may think it’s "organised" to give different people different responsibilities, but it created complete chaos. Rather than a smooth, coordinated dining experience, it felt fragmented and rushed, with no one fully taking ownership of our table. To top it all off, when it came time to settle the bill, I was incorrectly charged for a double vodka despite ordering a single. The manager, somewhat dismissively, informed us that they don’t serve singles — however, the menu clearly indicated that 25ml measures are available upon request. After some back-and-forth and us pointing out the error, she took the bill away to amend it, but the whole interaction was handled poorly. It was not the level of service one expects at a high-end restaurant in Mayfair. Having since read numerous negative reviews on TripAdvisor, I can see that our experience was far from unique. For a restaurant that charges these kinds of prices, Novikov needs to drastically improve in both food quality and service to justify its positioning in this competitive market. What speaks volumes about Novikov is that they haven’t responded to one of the many terrible reviews on TripAdvisor. It’s clear that they’re not particularly interested in addressing the recurring issues guests are pointing out. If they truly cared about improving their service and reputation, they would engage with feedback — especially given the number of similar complaints. If you’re looking for an exceptional meal in London, skip Novikov and head to Zuma, CLAP, Sushi Samba, or any number of other top-tier spots where the food, service, and overall experience are truly worth the price. As for Novikov, it’s a classic case of style over substance, and based on our experience, it’s not a place I’ll be returning to anytime soon.

Have been there with my colleagues for a party and we were all impressed! Given that the restaurant is larger than its size, it is a trend, to say the least. It has two sections, Japanese and Italian. My experience with the Italian section was less than normal. The food was less than normal compared to their prices. I tried pizza and pasta from the Italian section and the Japanese section. I took grilled shrimp from them. As for the service, it is very, very bad and there is no respect for customers yet. We went and asked. The waiter came to me and asked me to remove the cup, but he wouldn't bring the food. He said, "This police officer is our right. I refused." I took off the cap and said to him, “If you all have a police station, you would like to implement it from the beginning. Tell us not if we order and sit down.” And when I told him, “Eat the food while I walk,” he said, “Next time, we will not serve you food.” When I asked him about his name, he refused to give it to me because his manner was very, very bad. My experience at Novikov London was extremely disappointing due to the behavior of the staff. One blonde female server, with her hair styled in a ponytail with bangs, rudely questioned us about a sushi order. When we told her we weren’t sure because we had ordered a lot of food, she sarcastically replied, ‘Then who would know?’ without even smiling. Later, an older, heavier male staff member came over and insisted that we leave our table due to the restaurant being busy, even though other customers who had been seated longer were not asked to leave. Despite the server responsible for our table trying to stop him and telling him not to speak to us that way, he ignored them and continued pressuring us to leave. This showed not only a lack of respect for customers but also a lack of respect between staff members. While the server assigned to our table did apologize on behalf of the others, the overall experience was unacceptable. It’s shocking that a restaurant of Novikov’s caliber employs staff who behave this way. This will definitely be my first and last visit.

Title: Terrible Service and Disappointing Experience The service at Novikov was absolutely unacceptable. Servers were walking back and forth, sometimes bumping into chairs where guests were seated. After finishing the first appetizer, the second dish took 40 minutes to arrive, with no one clearing the table or checking in on us. I had to find a server myself to ask if they had forgotten our order. Miraculously, the manager brought out our main course in three minutes, but we then waited another 30 minutes for dessert. No one cleaned the table or attended to us after we finished the main course. What’s even more frustrating is that when we first arrived, the front desk informed us that dining time was limited to two hours. However, ordering and waiting for our food took up nearly the entire two hours. This experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a special celebration for our wedding anniversary. It was embarrassing and disappointing. Despite the restaurant’s popularity and reputation, the service was utterly appalling. I do not recommend this place.

Not quite the place to have any meaningful conversation, music is pretty loud! One of the best restaurants worth visiting in London 👌🏻 I consider it 10/10 in all aspects. The restaurant is divided into two parts, Italian and Chinese, but I recommend the Italian one more because its atmosphere is very nice and the food is delicious, but you must know that there is a minimum charge of 60 pounds per person and requires a reservation..✨ The dishes I recommend to you are truffle fries, white pasta with chicken, truffle pizza, and wagyu steak, and also their coffee is delicious🤤 Prices are high ☺️

We wanted to celebrate a birthday at a restaurant. Found the address and phone number on Google Maps. We called to book a table and arrived on time. However, upon arrival, we were told there was a dress code. I was dressed casually (sneakers, joggers, and a hoodie), and because of this, the security wouldn’t let us in. I have absolutely nothing against dress codes and even support their existence, but it’s incredibly disappointing that the managers didn’t think it necessary to inform us about it over the phone. Additionally, I want to point out the attitude of the security staff. The people at the entrance act as if they are of royal descent, speaking down to visitors in an unnecessarily condescending manner. When I called the manager to ask why we weren’t informed about the dress code, they simply hung up on me. This whole situation felt strange and absurd. I’ve been to Novikov restaurants in Moscow and Dubai and never once had issues with my attire, even though casual is my usual clothing style. I understand that security staff and some managers couldn’t care less about whether people return or not, which is why they allow themselves to behave so dismissively. However, from the restaurant management’s perspective, I’d recommend considering training programs for junior ground staff. The current behavior leaves a negative impression of the entire restaurant chain.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff were shockingly rude from the moment we arrived, showing no regard for customer service. What made matters worse was that they enforced a minimum charge of £90 for a child, which is completely unreasonable and absurd. When I raised the issue, hoping for some understanding, the manager was not only unhelpful but also just as rude as the rest of the staff, dismissing our concerns without any attempt to resolve the situation. Always love coming here both to the Italian and the Asian side. The food is fantastic but I do wish the portions were bigger per pound paid. The desserts are absolutely worth it, especially the ice cream charcoal cone one - do get it, you won’t regret it!! Also, great halal options, which you rarely see in London restaurants!! The staff was very nice, and I always enjoy Novikov’s atmosphere. Definitely the place for a special occasion!! BUT I really wished that they didn’t take such a big deposit for a bigger party, so I can’t bring a larger group of friends here so we always go somewhere else rather. Overall, it’s worth it!!

Although we had a reservation at 9:45, we were not seated until 11:00 because we requested to move our table from the corner to the middle, as the corners were unbearably hot and uncomfortable. **To the Management of Novokav Restaurant,** I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your restaurant, which I have considered one of the best in London. Although I have been visiting you every year when i came to London , this year my experience was completely different. I faced several issues, starting with the reception, where the receptionist (Sara) lacked communication skills and proper customer service. Her approach to dealing with customers was unprofessional; I noticed she interacted comfortably and with a smile towards men, while showing a lack of respect towards women. Additionally, the manager (tmara) that have ted hair was uncooperative, which added to my frustration. As a result of this poor experience, I feel that I will not return to your restaurant again, especially since many people have started to move towards other restaurants of much higher quality. My experience waiting in front of the restaurant was frustrating, as there was a clear disregard from the staff towards us. I will be sending an email to the relevant authorities, and I hope they will take the necessary actions to improve the level of service. I hope that the concerned authorities will take action and reflect this perspective, as the management within the restaurant is uncooperative I hope you take this complaint into consideration. Spectacular food and wonderful service. I suggest booking a table in advance, as there is usually a waiting list for months. The atmosphere is beautiful and very sophisticated. The acoustics in the halls are very good, which allows for a pleasant atmosphere even when it is full. All employees are super competent and helpful. The service is efficient and the waiters are very prepared to answer questions and offer suggestions. The food is a spectacle. All the dishes I've tried at this restaurant are incredible. The products are very fresh and the dishes are prepared in a unique and modern way. Wonderful experience!

First of all, the waiting time is VERY long even if you have booked in advance - I guess the restaurant is taking more reservations that it’s capacity. We have eaten in the Asian place, was so good and we loved all the dishes. Service is good overall.

We had such high expectations for Novikov. The table was set for 8 when we arrived but had been booked for 5 so there was some shuffling around. We ordered starters and mains and being an Italian restaurant some of our party ordered a pasta course. Then the problems started, some of the starters arrived, not all, along with both the pasta courses. They were taken away and eventually the rest of the starters arrived, but one of them was wrong. That was then replaced. The starter that had arrived was served with the re-heated pasta dish at the same time! The service seemed in total confusion. We asked to see the manager and a supervisor arrived who didn't seem able to resolve the service problem. he was full of apologies but didn't seem able to resolve the issues which continued. Two main courses then arrived. I have never experienced such awful service, it was a fiasco, I kept looking around for film crew! Our hostess was mortified that the service was so diabolical that we left before most of the mains were served. I go out as much for the service as for the food and I am sorry to say the service ruined the evening.

Give it a size larger than its size!!! I tried it at dinner in the Italian section. The food is less than normal, the service is very bad, and the prices compared to the service provided are very high. They sat us at the table and we waited for more than a quarter of an hour, just because someone came to take our orders. And whoever provided the food, they charged a 15% service fee (which I paid because The Tunisian who served us later) An experience that will never be repeated Are there better restaurants? Yes Do I recommend it? no

The manager wasn’t friendly at all and my friend’s table didn’t pay the minimum charge means while they let me pay the minimum charge per person. Nobody served me the food + the attitude of the waitresses were so rude. As for the payment, they manipulated with the total of the bill four times.

Note: The place has two restaurants. You must go to the Novikov restaurant, because the first time you enter it will be a Japanese restaurant, and from there you will go to the Novikov restaurant. The place is beautiful. The restaurant is Italian. The food is delicious. Everything we ordered was delicious, and do not miss the suite. It is amazing.

We went to the Christmas market, and even though it was prettier on social media, the food did not disappoint, a little bit on the pricier side for the sizes of the portions but it was truly an experience. Almost everything was made to order, which meant the food was hot and tasty when you had it. The atmosphere was a little underwhelming as it was overly crowded and we could barely move or enjoy the scenery of it all. We eat and left within 30 mins as it was getting too much.

I want to start by saying I gave 3 stars for atmosphere merely because the staff are seriously militant and not very approachable one put his palm flat out like he was dog training. However 2 exceeded our expectations and were of course what we’re used too, the one that stood out for us though was our host Albiona, she was amazing and was why we stayed until the very end of the night with drinks flowing! Albiona was professional, personable, charismatic and understanding. I feel as though a positive staff members are rarely noted. People usually come to review the negative but we would never forget Albiona and if we were to return/recommend, we will personally request her to host us/friends/family/Colleagues. A very special thank you to Albiona, a special soul. Food, Dj and doormen great too!

Talk about a bar that screams of class and Sass clubbed in one. I have barely liked Mocha drinks in London, But Mocha here hits the spot. Second visit here. First was for drinks. Gaurav came to the rescue and suggested a good old glass of Brandy with warm water to fight off throat soreness. A brilliant suggestion indeed. Shoutout to Gaurav, Sourav, Parag, Jay and Manthan, for their constant warm and welcoming attitude. They have really raised the bar for hospitality and truly exhibiting #Tajness! Will definitely visit soon again.
