I had high expectations on this but extremely disappointed Long wait for food no one told us ,food come cold twice not really fresh absolutely not worth it

We tried the Asian version and let's start with the positives. Food was great, amazing quality. We tried a variety of meals, sushi, dumplings, rice bowls, black cod, fried chicken and they were mostly great. You pay what you get, which is good food with research behind, so price is not in itself a problem, although the minimum spending of £80 is high and it can just make you buy plenty of things which you might not end up eating if your hunger runs out so it can be a waste. Waiting times were also very short, which was pleasing. Onto the negatives...when I go to a luxury restaurant, I expect great service. It was so chaotic, we had 4-5 waiters taking care of the table at the same time, some very nice, but not particularly skilled. There were quite a few blunders, including consistent spilling of liquids. They never left us alone for a second, they were always on to check if they could take away anything, which gets uncomfortable at times because you feel like you are consistently interrupted during a conversation. At times there were about 15 waiters moving around in the room which just gave the impression of such a frenetic environment where nobody knew what their role was. The place was quite empty when we moved in, yet they positioned us in between other clients, which with the tables really close together, again is quite uncomfortable. Finally, the seat was so uncomfortable. Sitting on the bench is such a no, make sure you manage to get two chairs if you can!

Great food, but chaotic service management. At the start it took 20 minutes until the waiter returned to take our order. After our meal we are given the dessert menu and made our choices but the waiter tell us they need the table and there is no time for the dessert. Then he goes to check with the reception and returns to tells us we can have dessert but that moment his colleague from the reception waves at him to change her mind yet again. Overall, made us feel irrelevant to them.

The best Restaurant of london .

The place is unusual. Well it has two dining areas, one catering for Italian tastes and the other an Asian fusion! I have eaten in both on several occasions, and I still cannot faulter a thing. The food is beyond reproach and always fresh and the service is almost impecable. I say almost, because there has been hiccups with new staff, and communication. Otherwise every else is in the details and attention paid to customers. Before you commit, check the pricing policy. Disfruta.

Everything was perfect, the food was very tasty and fresh. The ambience was excellent and the service was very nice and professional, only the pressure that was built up to order and eat quickly, to order the next dish and to eat that quickly too, is not worthy of the restaurant. If you want, you could be outside again within an hour. It's too expensive for that.

Novkov (the known does not know) It is impossible to go to London and not have dinner or lunch there. Whether in Italian, Chinese, or even the bar under the cement. One of the most beautiful restaurants, with all its merit, and a place that never gets bored of. My experiences were mostly in the Italian part, and only once did I try the Chinese part. The food is delicious, delicious, and the ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful. The service is excellent. No advance reservation is required My rating for it is 10/10

Novikov boasts a great atmosphere with friendly staff, creating a welcoming ambiance. However, the food falls short, especially considering the exorbitant prices and relatively small portion sizes. While the dishes were acceptable, they failed to justify the hefty price tags.

I would not visit again. So many things went wrong during my friend’s birthday. It started with a 40 minute wait for our pre-booked table, followed by very long waiting times for our food and still getting the orders wrong. One of my main dishes came halfway through the dinner, it was wrong (had meat when I ordered vegetarian) and I only got the right order when everyone finished their meals. I had to ask for it to be takeaway. I’d expect way better service from a place with a minimum of £80 spend.

A perfect place to have a high end luxury meal . Kids friendly . Have halal options . Friendly stuffs . Please check the dress code before you go . Hoodie , trainers are not allowed . Prefect place to celebrate birthday with a small group of people . For two person minimum £300

Friendly and approachable, they are so quick with coming to Your table to help you with any of your needs etc, the food was chefs kiss

If I could give less than 1* I would. Cold food. Incompetent service. Nonchalant attitude towards concerns raised. Waste of time and money.

The food was impeccable, but what truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service provided by Sebastian. His attentive assistance ensured every moment was enjoyable. Novikov wouldn't be the same without him! 🍣

My favourite Asian cuisine in Mayfair, the atmosphere is great, met a lot of nice people here. The food is amazing I recommend the Black cod dumplings and the wagyu tacos. Also a fan of the sweet and sour. Been here numerous times and will come again and again !

Novikov London is amazing ..the music, The sound system, the food, attention the services, great time overall. Great experience in London Probably one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been in my life. The table settings the food such beautiful place. If you go to London it's a must visit Can't wait to go back

Honestly the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my entire life (NO EXAGGERATION!) The absolute worst Asian food and dreadful service! Cold tacos with an unusual taste. There was a hair on our dish on arrival ! Feel like I’ve been robbed, never have I ever experienced this! Next day have a bad belly !

For people who have been going here for years will know that it defo has gone down hill! You use to be able to sit and eat in peace now they are trying to rush you out the door! Also if you come as a family you will be sure to be sat at the back so the front and good tables go to the prozzies and single lads! Will defo give this place a miss for now.

The service was amazing; the staff were attentive and helpful, recommending dishes, they were knowledgeable about the menu. Take their advice! The menu itself was long and complicated, a mish mash of Asian food - some dishes stood out, and others felt over seasoned or too elaborate and contrived. The wagu beef was expensive but not memorable, juicy but lacking in flavour. It was a swing and a miss. The king crab claws natural flavour was barely perceptible under the wasabi cream and almost thermidore like topping. With something so delicate, a light hand is required and this was a slap. I enjoyed the King crab sushi with caviar - my first and favourite dish. It promised so much... yet the meal fizzled and failed to impress in the main. Other stars were undoubtedly the spicy edamame, prawn spring rolls and tofu rolls with a delicious crispy finish. The duck and pancakes were unusual - a very fine crispy skin perfectly flat (like a science experiment), with the cold duck meat finely sliced beneath it. I wanted to love it (and understand people do) but it was technically proficient rather than tasty which sadly misses the point. It was a good meal and an enjoyable evening but I wasn't wowed and I wanted to be for the price! It was technically brilliant not delicious! I think they need to work on their kerbside experience - large bouncers guard the door, blocking the path somewhat and giving the impression that a bunch of undesirables were beyond the revolving door! Coat check took longer than expected and the needless hanging around at the desk - whilst staff whizzed past with trays of food and drink - felt disorganised. This needs to be reconsidered. I have no idea why they sell produce in the Asian restaurant? Quirky but as its also along the main thoroughfare of the Asian side of the restaurant, people rush by and accidents will undoubtedly happen... I saw two near misses.

Generally the food was ok. The duck salad was amazing. But California rolls below average 👎🏻 People at the reception are very professional and friendly BUT our waiter was horrible spelling food on the table, ignorant, and rude. I think he is 🇮🇹

Has to be the best place to eat in London! Super kid friendly. The menu has a lot of halal options. The best service, food doesn’t take forever to come out. Great mocktail selection. I dream about their beef tacos. Even if you are full, you have to try their desserts (the ice cream with berries is the best).

Everything was delicious, starting with the compliments for the guests. The sushi was amazing, it was the most delicious sushi I've ever had, even in not like Japan! The waiters were polite and professional. The only thing I didn't like was the woman at the front desk, she was very arrogant.

I've been going to novikov for years and i must say it has gone downhill. The food is absolutely horrendous on the asian side. Overpriced food which is literally tasteless and over salty. The arrogant manager was poorly trying to convince us that it wasn't. I refused to pay and they removed one dish from the bill. The staff seemed stressed and confused. Don't waste your money or time going there. Never again.

I appreciate the fine dining experience; the cuisine was truly delicious, and the atmosphere exuded elegance. However, I found it to be somewhat pricey in comparison to other similar fine dining establishments, and the service was a bit slow.

On arriving it felt very busy even going through a turnstile door. We put our coats in the cloakroom and the guy here was so friendly, this really is where the experience ended. We were shown to our table and the only way of explaining the area is that it was a huge food hall with as many tables as they could fit. We may as well have been in Bluewater Shopping Centre food Hall. The waiter was friendly enough and we ordered drinks and food and everything arrived quickly which was great. I know it can't be helped but 4 gangster looking guys all in casual sports wear were seated on the table next to us. They were all around 18 years old and just sat there tapping away on their mobiles and not even talking to each other. It clearly says what the dress code is at the time of booking and the staff should be more vigilant. The food was amazing but the whole experience of being there was just ruined by overcrowding . I can't even remember if there was music. I just know I will not be going back. I would rather spend the same money and go to a 5 star hotel and use their restaurant as the service would be more personable and the food just as good. I may just go back to the cloakroom and see the guy there again, he was such a character. This place needs to try harder in making sure the overall experience is superb.

Nice food. Duck is amazing so do try! We ordered about 15 items to share and all were above average but duck was exceptional and worth the price otherwise price point doesn’t match with food taste but ambience is very nice

Novikov was really great! Got recommended to go there while my family and I were staying in London. The caviar was amazing and served on pancakes…i also ate the whole tin…that says something…The oysters were also amazing and their briney options were above and beyond. Also had the salmon which was cooked well too. Wasn’t any extraordinary, just a good salmon. Someone else in our party ordered the lobster and it was not cooked properly. Chewy and had to be sent back. But they reordered a fish and enjoyed that. Overall good place! If you can afford it, give it a shot. Easily a couple hundred dollars if you’re a party bigger than 2 and want to treat yourself. Thank you, Novikov!

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, everything was impeccable. The ambiance was delightful, the service was outstanding, and each of the 16 different dishes we tried was flawless, without a single complaint. I must particularly highlight the duck, which was simply sensational. And let's not forget about the cocktails—they were perfect too. In summary, an absolutely wonderful dining experience that deserves nothing but praise.

I’ve been Novikov Asia twice before and I never had an issue with their service or food. Today’s service was absolutely tragic. We asked for our order to be taken three times. They would tell us they were coming right back but would be nowhere to be seen thereafter. It wasn’t even busy! Everyone else received a small bowl of vegetables and condiments, along with hand wipes, after they ordered - we did not receive any of this. Our food took ages to arrive at our table but they may as well have not even served it because it was overly salty, basic and overpriced. We ordered desserts and coffee, the desserts took half an hour and they didn’t even bother to bring out the coffee. We cancelled the coffee and ended up asking for the bill, they were gracious enough to bring the coffee free of charge but that did not make up for the awful food and disaster of a service. We asked to remove our service charge which they did but looked miserable doing so. £210 later, we’re sad and now have upset stomachs :(

The team were very welcoming and cognisant that we had a child The ambience was very warm and classy, yet had a vibe to it. The transparent kitchen and seafoods bar on display gave it an exotic Asian vibe We ordered the chicken steamed buns, rich shrimp tempura and spicy tuna sushi rolls to begin with. The buns were light and well seasoned inside, tempura as crisp as glass, the sushi was average and tuna could have been tad more spicy. The mains we had wagyu sirloin and sweeter and sour chicken. The main event, the Wagyu had to be returned as it was cold. The replacement was just slightly warm but at that point we just wanted to eat. The sides became lukewarm waiting for the Wagyu. This was very disappointing and I hope the manager takes this on board. The chicken and egg fried rice was surprisingly good and moreish The total bill came to £254. Was it worth it? Perhaps not, seeing as £95 dish was underwhelming and had to be sent back. Overall 7/10

Visited Novikov on Valentine's Day. Overall, the service and food were commendable. The calamari, unfortunately, left me feeling unwell, but the Chilean Wagyu, Spanish sirloin, Novikov carbonara, and the chocolate petit gateaux redeemed the dining experience. Despite the great food, the table placement was less than ideal, with constant bumps from other patrons affecting the overall vibe.

Black pizza and the lobster linguini might be better than the meat.

Food was okay , service was very slow and underwhelming. Place was super packed on a Tuesday . Don’t understand the hype. Overpriced for me - but I don’t think I’m the crowd they are aiming for.

3 people for dinner on a Monday night at > £300 pp, you expect stellar service (esp as about 2/3 occupancy), and stellar food. Service was average at best although arrogant at times. It was fast though, and sommelier was very good and knowledgeable . Some of the food was well above average, some absolutely average. This place now certainly running on the fumes of its past, and having eaten here many times before with much superior service end food I can only assume an inferior change of management or new poor leadership from a novice floor manager… Shame

The food is good, The atmosphere is more neo than real class . Music is a tad too loud in the restaurant. I suppose it's fine for the neo rich .. who come with no class but are filled with cash. I would say there are better places for the kind of cash you need to spend such as the four seasons.

Simply the best! I visit The Novikov whenever I'm in London. It's a wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere. I recommend it to anyone who wants to indulge in delicious food and a great time.

Barata is the best I have had. Cannot give 5 stars as we finished dinner and were advised to take our drinks downstairs to the bar but then the bouncer wouldn't let us go down and said we should have pre booked so were left standing there with a cocktail in hand.

I’ve visited Novikov so many times and love the Asian side of the restaurant. Italian is ok. However it seems standards have slipped. Very rude host/reservations team member who was working on Friday night around 8pm. Was incredibly rude to my friend who had called the restaurant ahead of our booking and asked if the meat was halal. The lady my friend spoke to was shockingly rude and dismissive which led us to cancel our reservation. Such a shame.

We have been to this amazing place a few times and have tried the lounge, the Italian and Asian restaurants. And all of them are amazing. There are fresh vegetables, pastas, and seafood in front of the kitchen and you can see the cooks. The calamari is one of the best I’ve had. They have a few dishes with truffle and all truffle dishes taste amazing. The service is also great. Staffs are super friendly and polite.

The lounge has a pleasant interior design but the background music was way too loud. It was hard to communicate.

Actually I been to Novikov to many time really lovely place to go but really but service is order drinks never arrived I ask for the bill and I ask to remove service charge and the manager started giving me attitude she’s was very rude to me and she really ruined my night she started talking to much and she was saying that we are human but you heartless you don’t feel human I don’t understand why she was saying why you want to remove service charge just because you have your drink weird and she tried to call security to take table from me ( Italian restaurant)

Despite the fact that we were running 40 minutes late, the reception team was very welcoming and accommodating by giving us a table almost a minute after our arrival. The service was very attentive from the beginning, with some great recommendations from the sommelier and floor manager. Highly recommended dishes are The black cod and scallop black truffle carpaccio.

المطعم فخم واجواءه حلوه جربت من عندهم روزيتو ترافل كان لذيذ وسباغيتي بالفطر برضوا لذيذ وطلبنا طبق السي فود كان حلو وسوشي ونولدز صيني.. وجربت الحلى تارت التوت و جربت الكيك بشكل مجمل المطعم حلو وراقي .. كانو حاطين لي بالفاتوره مبلغ للسيرفس تقريبأ كان 50£ وطلبتهم يشيلونها لان عددنا كان اربع واحنا خدمنا انفسنا حطينا الاكل ماحد غرف لنا عشان ياخذون 50 وشالوها لان فعلا ماحد خدمنا من ناحيه الغرف بالاكل وكذا.. بعكس بعض الطاولات الثانيه كانت واحد فوق راسهم ويخدمهم

This restaurant has earned the title of my ultimate favourite. Honestly, I understand why it's considered a success story. Every aspect, from the warm greetings at the entrance to the fond farewells, contributed to a flawless experience. The quality of the Asian cuisine stands out as the best, complemented by delicious desserts. Management of this restaurant needs to be given awards ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Novikov is incredible. I had visited Novikov Dubai and wanted to see how good the Novikov Asian Restaurant was and I was blown away. Made a lunch reservation on a Friday and arrived early and didn’t have to wait for my reservation time to be seated. The service was incredible and great rapport built immediately especially talking about my Disneyland hat! Cloakroom is also available if required. The menu is simple to navigate and the staff very knowledgeable and helpful when asking about the food. Started with 50g of Hybrid Caviar (which came with Blinis, a divine cream cheese and boiled eggs) and two Gillardeau N2 oysters. Two Gillardeau were not enough and ended up rounding it up to half a dozen much to the amusement of the staff! As this was lunch we ordered some small plates and Dim Sum. The Wagyu Tacos were incredible and full of flavour. The meat was so flavoursome. The King Crab Dim Sum were packed with deliciousness topped with caviar and gold leaf. The chicken and morel siu mai were beautiful topped with truffle. The wine and cocktail list is extensive and I chose a Solero. A refreshing gin based cocktail which reminded me of the ice cream. Would definitely order again. So, should you go to Novikov? Yes. Definitely. Go! I look forward to returning and exploring more of the Asian menu and also trying the Italian! A big thank you to the staff there who treated me exceptionally well and for the birthday surprise at the end. 😀

I visited the Italian section, the food is ok and good atmosphere, but I was surprised from the amount of food every dish is very small and not enough for one person! And the price is very high compared to the amount! Also when I ordered a zero cola I was chocked from the size of it which is 200ml lool this is the first restaurant I visit in Europe and they presented this small amount!

My favorite dinner spot in London has incredible vibes, friendly staff, and delicious food. It's a must-try, but make sure you book make a reservation a couple of weeks in advance!

The servers were all very lovely and helpful and the service was pretty quick. However, we were sat in front of the till which quite busy as you would imagine. However, we did have a nice view of the fresh veg and fish display which nice.

Best place to have fun and good time

We were at the bar, which has a good atmosphere and very nice music. The cocktails are great, all around 20£. The champagne was also good. We had a great time. The bar closes at 2 am (Saturday).

Разочаровало обслуживание. Это просто «испанский стыд». Официантов много-толку мало. Крайне навязчивые и высокомерные одновременно. Больше всего поразило, как один нерадивый официант то убирал блюда с последней устрицей, то неловко снова ставил обратно. Поторопил впихнуть эту устрицу в себя уже поскорее. Короче жесть. Пафоса много- а обслуживание позор. Хуже всего, что устрицы были не свежие и потом было плохо(

Gorgeous food and excellent service in a beautiful and curated space! The price tag is what to be expected for a restaurant of this caliber in Mayfair. But they have a set menu during lunch which was convenient and still delicious! Back soon hopefully

They ruined my night the worst service ever!! There attitude was like they never wanted us to stay!! And the manger’s attitude with us was very rude. He wanted us to order more than what we need and he wanted us to leave the place as well!!!!!!! And all the other tables ordered even less than there number Check your staff attitude before you hire them!!
