The restaurant was absolutely lovely, we had a reservation for a big group and they were wonderful when making and adjusting the reservation as well as in person. We were constantly attended on, advised about what to get as an introduction to Korean food as well as their restaurant. They also recommended the most popular halal dishes and made sure one party from the group who had a nut allergy was well advised on what she could get and she had no problems with the food. Overall an absolutely great experience and incredibly amazing service. All the food was absolutely delicious, all the banchan as well, they gave us some extra sauce and side dishes on the house, which was very nice. I would definitely visit again !! As an extra bonus, the music was great as well, a lot of old K-pop songs with the volume at a perfect level where you can speak and understand other people without shouting. I couldn't say any greater things about this place!!! Experience it for yourself.

I organised a birthday dinner for my brother here, party of 6. The service was amazing. Everyone was to attentive. We had the bbq pork belly, beef and prawns, stir fried vermicelli noodles, steamed meat and vegetables and soup, chicken wings and more soup. The staff cooked the food for us at our table, made sure we had sauces and was so good. The food was delicious. We could tell the meat and seafood was high quality. I highly recommend this place.

Stopped here for a quick lunch with a friend. Had the premium lunch menu beef prawns bento box with soup. Really tasty. Came back many times. So good.

Nice Korean food with extremely friendly service. I wouldn’t say it was the best Korean I’ve had in London, as the food was a bit too oily. We ordered kimchi pancake, dumplings and tteokbokki. It was more than enough to share between two people. I’d recommend ordering two or three dishes max and sharing and then ordering more if you need to.

I came here with my boyfriend about 2 weeks ago, and we enjoyed it so much. I came from Zurich and really missed the meat, especially the pork belly. I was really full. The staff were all friendly and the owner kept giving me more side dishes as a service, so I ate them happily. I will definitely stop by when I go to London in the future. Prosper!

The best Korean I have had so far in London. The beef wow the absolute die for, the kimchi was amazing, the drinks, the kind Prawn tempura style dish… The noodles with the squid I wasn’t that much of a fan of, but that’s personal preference. Since being introduced I have now been there twice in as many months and it doesn’t didn’t disappoint the second time. Staff are really friendly and attentive, the food is so affordable and so tasty! Will be back of course.

Everytime that we get to visit London, we never is to eat at Arang. It’s our favorite Korean Restaurant. Our favorite from their menu are Bulgalbi, Japchae and Galbitang. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for delicious Korean restaurant. I also recommend to boom your table in advance.

After reading many reviews saying that this is one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants London not in Malden, I reserved a table for two for Valentine's. I'd been to Malden for Korean BBQ so hoped the quality would be relatively similar. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we told them our reservation and we were ushered downstairs. Now this was immediately where it started going downhill. The atmosphere downstairs was LOUD and much less pleasant than the upstairs main restaurant. There was some intensely obnoxious music (the tuneless R&B type with explicit language filled with the n-word) playing from a portable bluetooth speaker controlled from a server's phone, where the music clearly didn't fit a Korean atmosphere. The room was also tacky, with a green laser machine shining beams of lasers all over the table. My feet also kept getting tangled in the power wires leading to our table which felt fairly unprofessional. The next point is beyond the restaurant's control, but the table beside me were all on their phones, talking loudly and taking multiple photos with flash throughout the meal which just added to the overwhelming experience. We considered leaving the restaurant for one we were more familiar with and knew would make a good meal, but then decided to power through knowing Central London would be heaving, and I didn't want to ruin my night with my partner. I asked a member of staff whether we could move upstairs, but they said they couldn't because of how reservations worked. They turned the music down - for a few minutes before slowly inching the music back up in volume and seemed fairly pissed off at us. I tried to ignore the music throughout the meal but its obnoxiousness would keep filtering through into my brain. Occasionally they'd skip to the next track mid/early song. I was only trying to pick what I wanted from the menu, but was already incredibly stressed. We had Set Menu B and fairly quickly out streamed a feast of the usual vegetable banchan and the starters. These were all full of flavour and tasted fresh which was a relief. I have no real issues with the food itself, however the BBQ technique was fairly poor. It was clear that the staff (who barbeque the meat for you) aren't allowed to turn up the table beyond a certain amount. The meat stewed and boiled in its own juices instead of searing and BBQing like a bbq should. In the end our bulgogi beef was dry and overcooked. Slathering it in sauce, rice and vegetables helped, but it was disappointing. Anyway, the experience was fairly mediocre. I don't think I'll be returning here in a hurry given there're so many other Korean BBQ restaurants that probably care a lot more about their BBQ, atmosphere and service. If you care about atmosphere and really want to go here, I'd highly recommend requesting for upstairs and staying away from the BBQ system.

I traveled around Europe for a month on my honeymoon and this is the best Korean restaurant... The pork belly is really soft and the kimchi!!!!! It's better than any other Korean restaurant. The staff and the owner are all very friendly, so the food is good and it puts you in a good mood. If you're looking for a Korean restaurant in London, just go here. I've been to a lot of other Korean restaurants, but this one is the best. I'm not just an acquaintance, but I'm really impressed. ㅠㅠ!! If you eat pork belly, lettuce is a must!! Add it to taste and it tastes like European lettuce! The taste is confirmed by the thoroughly empty bowl. It is a taste that you will go back to even if you are in Korea!

It's such a shame that I only found out about this place now. I've been to many Korean restaurants in London, but this one has the best Korean food and the best!!! I had some leftover stir-fried pork, so I packed it up and it was still delicious even after it had cooled down for a while!!! And be sure to eat it with pickled green onions!! The taste of pickled green onions is a work of art👍 The sauce is just right. And the side dishes served are authentic and delicious. Now, whenever my family wants to eat Korean food, we always try to go here^^ This is a Korean food restaurant loved by Koreans!!

It's really delicious. I think I'll visit the best Korean restaurant in London every time I come to London. I highly recommend the seolleongtang and stir-fried pork! It's not localized Korean food, it's real Korean food.

I stopped by Arang for dinner a few days ago in London! Everyone was so friendly that I enjoyed my meal, and contrary to my worries, I was surprised by how delicious the bibimbap was. On Thursday evening, a Korean part-timer took care of various things for me, who came alone, and kept talking to me. I was touched by their kindness, asking if I needed anything or what I could do to help them. He was my ideal type! Thank you for letting me have a good time~~ 😳

I have been to this place 6 times now and I loved it every single time. The first time we went there my friend asked if they had Milkis (Cream Soda) and they didn't but one of their workers went to a korean store and grabbed it for us on the house. They're really into their work and so super friendly and helpful. They also have plenty halal options and you can also always ask them to adjust the orderd according to your needs.

Amazing food, lovely quality, friendly staff, nice location. Tried soju for the first time too, would love to go back again. Portions are a good size too. I ate the food before I got my camera out! I'd recommend making a booking as it can be busy.

The service was amazing, I was served by Sara who gave us fantastic service, she was very welcoming and attentive. The manager was also extremely kind, as well as all the other staff!

I was worried because there were a lot of foreigners, but it was because of the taste that captivated the taste buds of all countries. The lunch menu is very well prepared. I think it's amazing to get something like this at this price in the expensive UK. The quality of the meat is especially good. The portions are generous so I highly recommend it. No matter what food you order, you get 3 side dishes. The male owner was particularly friendly and gave us lettuce and ssamjang as a complimentary meal... The taste of ssamjang from other countries is crazy.. It was so delicious. The vegetables that came out were also delicious. This is a restaurant that serves rich, delicious dishes of rice, meat, and vegetables at affordable prices. If you are a Korean who craves Korean food, please come here.

A Korean restaurant I found in England. I don't eat japchae often in Korea, but I enjoyed the hot, freshly made japchae here. There are many tasteless and expensive British restaurants, but the prices were good and the food was excellent. Lunch is about 5 pounds cheaper than dinner. If you want to eat delicious Korean food, go here.

I ended up going to this place while wondering where to go to a Korean restaurant, and it was quite delicious. I had soybean paste stew with two servings of pork belly. There was a lot of pork belly and the quality was good. The soybean paste stew was also delicious. I think the price is reasonable. I was also impressed that three side dishes were provided as standard. The servers seemed generally friendly, but the female manager in particular was very friendly. I was satisfied with my meal. If you went there after reading my review and feel it wasn't delicious, please contact me~ I'd like to go to a restaurant that says it's delicious.

The bulgogi here is amazing. The seafood pancake, and other korean BBQ options are great. Service wasn't great but the food is honestly worth it.

This is a Korean restaurant that I go to very often. Recommended for international students and Korean residents who do not drink alcohol. There are many foreign customers and the food is delicious. The staff's response is also quick. The owner provides good service every time. After-meal fruit, soup, rice, lettuce, etc. Thank you for providing service that matches the menu. I enjoy a delicious meal every time. I recommend the bulgogi rice bowl.

It was the best Korean restaurant I ate at in London. Jeyuk seems to be better than any other Jeyuk restaurant in Korea. The server was friendly and cute. Thank you for taking good care of me!!!

I had dinner at Arang Korean Restaurant, and the food was both delicious and generously authentic. We ordered samgyeopsal, and the staff grilled it for us at the table, which was such a nice service. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Jaehyun, who took great care of us and even gave us a complimentary beer. I’ll visit again next time.

I visited after seeing reviews saying it was delicious and friendly, but this place just wasn't great. I entered the store and there was no telling me to wait or any information about where to sit, so I glanced at them and just minded my own business. If you come a long time later, they will let you in without checking the order in which they came in, and the customer who came behind you will go in first. They have never been friendly when taking orders or serving food, so I don't understand why the reviews are good. I had a pleasant trip and thanks to you, I left in a bad mood~

This place is very unwelcoming. The staff appeared to be tired and not even looking at the customers when they were having a conversation. It’s only 8.30pm.

Highly recommend this spot!! Very good Korean food and great atmosphere. The food is delicious and best for sharing multiple dishes. The prices are reasonable but for the quality it is very worth it. The tteokbokki, kimchi pancake and Korean fried chicken are all very good. I have come back here many times and will continue to do so!

I visited four Korean restaurants in London, including this one, and this was the best. After watching the Buckingham Palace changing ceremony, on the way to Fortnum & Mason Department Store, it was cold and I thought of Korean food. I looked at it in order of distance and just went there🥺 I was impressed by the price of the lunch special + I was impressed by the taste + I was impressed by the kimchi as a side dish (This was my first time serving kimchi as a side dish ㅠㅠㅠ) + The staff was so kind..! And I wasn't bored as there were songs from 2nd generation idols to the latest idols👍 I really wanted to eat everything and leave, but I feel sorry for leaving behind. I think it would be great if you consider types of noodles or kalguksu when developing new menus in the future. I'm craving soup and noodles in this cold weather, but it's a shame that most Korean restaurants in London don't have any. I was just writing a review and it came to mind so I'm leaving it here...! I don't know when I will come to London again, but this is a restaurant I want to come back to then...!

I didn't like the local food so I only looked for Korean restaurants. The owner guided me very kindly. They even gave us radish radish kimchi as a service. The main menu food is really suited to Korean tastes.

My friends and I had lunch in this Korean restaurant. My booking was smooth through Whatsapp. The service crew/staff are friendly and accommodating. One of the staff even taught us how to eat the bbq in Korean way (so kind of him). The food selections are wide and do not disappoint, really tasty and the servings are generous as well. I highly recommend this restaurant 👍🏽 If you come in big groups, just make sure to reserve a table ahead since the resto might be a little busy.

First try for the Korean food. The service was good and nice staff. The portions are enough. We got the jajangmyeon with chicken which was good. But we liked the bibimbap with beef more. They came with miso soup and beansprout.

We ordered bbq meats, oxtail soup, kimchi jiggae and jajangmyeon. The bbq and oxtail soup is nice, kimchi jiggae and jajangmyeon lacked depth of flavour (only this time) unfortunately but still nice dining experience. So kind and so delicious~ I ordered stir-fried pork and ttukbul meat. They also gave us lettuce and green onions... Maybe it's because we have a child, but they also gave us bottled water... It's the best~ We both ordered one menu each and it was plenty!

Went to Arang to celebrate my bestie’s birthday and it was, without a doubt, a lovely experience!!! the food was great. we ordered the dak twigim (fried chicken) but it was a bit meh. but the other meals we had like the japchae, halal bulgogi, halal lamb chop, sundubu jiggae and kimchi jeon were absolutely delicious!! the staff were absolutely lovely, they were accommodating and even sang happy birthday to my bestie so enthusiastically! thank you arang, definitely one of my fave korean restaurants in london!

The food was really really nice and the atmosphere was great. We had the Set A menu between two people and found it a challenge to finish, but it was delicious nonetheless. Sara and SJ downstairs were lovely to us, and the music they played was great! Highly recommend.

First time in a Korean BBQ restaurant. It was a nice experience. Service was great, food very good too. We had the kimchi pancake, beef noodles and beef bulgogi for the BBQ. Pancake was too oily for my taste, bulgogi was nice and noodles was my favourite. We will be back soon.

My group went without a reservation, but they prepared a table so we were able to eat. The price was reasonable. Actually, it was my first time eating Korean food after coming to the UK and not being able to afford proper meals. It was really, really delicious and the owner was very kind. It was to the point where I thought it would have been delicious even if I had eaten it in Korea rather than just imitating Korean food. The rice was packed so tightly that it was almost two bowls... ㅠㅠ Thank you so much I will definitely visit again next time!

Amazing. While maintaining the Korean taste, the majority of customers seemed to be foreigners. I ordered soft tofu, stir-fried squid, seaweed soup, and seafood pancake, and it was very delicious. The price was very affordable as it had a lunch menu, discount, no service charge, and basic side dishes. It was delicious and noisy, like visiting a restaurant near the office during lunch time in Korea.

One of the best Korean bbq in London

This is a “real Korean restaurant” that I have never experienced before when I go to a Korean restaurant in London. Other places were just imitating it, but they provided basic side dishes and rice and everything was delicious. I was touched to hear that he made his own kimchi. Thank you for allowing me to have a perfect day. The service was great, everyone was friendly, and it was good value for money. The dessert served after the meal was so delicate ♡ I think I'll come back again before I leave. I don't understand why the rating isn't out of 5.

I missed Korean food during my long trip. I searched and found a place with good reviews, so I visited it. I want to eat grilled meat I ordered sirloin and seoldo~ The owner even gave me ssam vegetables and green onion slices as a service, so I felt the taste of home even more. The kimchi stew was also very delicious. The dolsot bibimbap tasted just like the one I had in Korea~~

The best Korean restaurant I’ve visited so far. Amazing customer service and very organised and clean. KB he was so sweet and recommended all the different combinations for the best taste. Thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed our time there. There was a bit of confusion about our reservation but they were so apologetic and gave us a free drink to make up for it. We tried the tasting menu and it was just so good. Food came out really quickly and tasted great. Service was great. Highly recommend and would personally go back!

I’m still daydreaming about this place since my visit, I wanted to give a special shout out to the staff but I lost the piece of paper they wrote their names down on! :( but one of our servers we spoke about k dramas and the actor from parasite who ate right next to where we sat; he animated the restaurant and brought the experience to life. Including everyone else that I spoke to, you elevated the whole experience for my friend and I. Thank you so much for the outstanding service and mind blowing flavourful food that tasted like it was made with love. We can’t wait to visit again soon. I highly recommend this place 💌 🌟

Excellent service and expansive variety of food, including plenty of Halal options. The servers were helpful, especially in checking ingredients of dishes for allergens. The bulgogi was excellent. Wish I could have more! The portions were big and suitable to share between two people. We also had the Halal beef hotpot. We struggled to finish this as there were so many delicious items to try out. From the steam layer, the beef with mushrooms was exceptional. The kimchi pancakes were beautifully seasoned and had the perfect level of crispiness. I didn’t get a chance to take pics of all the items. The drinks menu was quite limited in comparison. Overall we had a great experience and I would recommend this restaurant.

amazing japanese food restaurant with halal options!! we ordered the special bulgogi bbq set and it tasted amazing, so much flavour. we werent really familiar with korean food but the staffs were all very friendly & helpful to show us how its done. the chef was also super friendly!! veryy recommended, worth the money 🫶🏻 (we didnt take many pics because we were too hungry and the food was that good)

Bossam is only available on weekdays, so I ordered grilled pork belly. As additional side dishes, I ordered green onion green onion, cucumber cabbage, and ssam, and it was delicious as if I was in Korea. It was the first time I had grilled pork in 7 months, so I was very disappointed with the last bite... Middle Eastern airline employees, if you come to Soho, I recommend this place!

We came across this restaurant by chance. It offers Halal Korean barbecue. The meat was extremely tender. The staff was very attentive and attentive (we did not speak English). The price is affordable. We recommend.

First time going to Arang with college after work reservation table for 4 was great atmosphere, fantastic service Emily and Frank were great. We got a variety of food Tteokbokki, chicken wing-twigim, Dolsot-bibimbap, grilled beef and chicken definitely would recommend and will go again.

My Korean partner and in-laws rate this place and you know its good because you hear the staff speaking in Korean. Authentic food and nice staff who make sure your k-bbq doesn't burn. I would recommend the sweet and sour pork (Tangsuyuk) and beef rib soup (galbitang). If you get bbq make sure to ask for whole garlic and chili to put on the grill. It goes great with your lettuce wraps! My Mexican dad still asks for the hot pot a year on from when we took him here. Our families go to for Korean places in London!

One of the best Korean restaurants I have been to. The food was amazing, the waiters were extremely attentive, and we were even offered a few sides on the house! I would highly recommend bulgogi!

Cold noodles - should be served a lot colder but noodles were almost like warm. Stir fry was too bland. Food wasn't very authentic and over rated. Decor was weird. Staff were okay though.

Second time in Arang two years later (2022-2024) and definitely it’s still one of the best options for Korean food in London. Congratulations!

Really tasty and authentic 💯 one of the better korean places in London

Our family visited London and stayed in the Golden Square apartment. Nearby is this Korean restaurant. The food is tasty and offers a variety of choices. The large hotpot was really big, and we could not finish it with three people. If you don’t know what to order, please ask the staff, who are very helpful and friendly. It's worth a try!
