Zorro Pizza in Harrogate

We used to enjoy ordering takeout from Zorros Pizza in Ripon but our last two orders have had nothing but problems. One our order before last we ordered 2x 'Zorro burgers' in the chicken option. We were give plain chicken burgers. Luckily we checked at the counter before taking it away & the chef basically chucked 2 slices of bacon & 2 onion rings into a box & told us it was our own fault for not ordering properly! How can we get more accurate than ordering what it's called on the menu? The guy on the phone even repeated it back to it. They were very rude about it. The next issue was on our last order. We ordered 2x Zorro burgers again with chicken & also ordered a 'pork lovers' pizza. It looked okay when we checked at the counter but on getting it home realised that they'd gotten it wrong again! They had given us a 'Zorro pork' instead of a 'pork lovers'. We called them & spoke to them to explain the mistake & they told us that it must be our fault again because there's no way that the guy would get it wrong. I explained that we definitely would not have made this mistake as the 'Zorro pork' contained mushroom which my Husband doesn't eat & spinach which I'm allergic to so it's a good job it wasnt me that took the bites to notice the mistake! Whereas the 'pork lovers' contains neither so is safe for me to eat. They were not at all bothered that they could have just made me severely ill & just kept repeating that it's my own fault. I told them that I would be bringing the whole meal back for fresh ones, including the burgers which would be cold due to having to drive backwards & forwards to get the correct pizza. The guy informed me that he would consult the owner as he is only the manager & claimed that all calls are recorded so he would check. When I queried this he made some sketchy excuses so I don't believe they are actually recorded which is a shame as it would have put him right instantly! We got a new correct pizza & fresh burgers so that we could finally come home to attempt to enjoy our meal over an hour later than planned but they were both so rude on arriving at the shop. There have been times when there's been a language barrier or misunderstanding & if we are to blame we would always hold our hands up & accept responsibility. However, both of these mistakes were purely on the behalf of the man on the phone miscommunicating to the kitchen yet tried repeatedly to blame us. I'm not sure why they'd have similar items on the menu if they can't actually distinguish between them! Looking at the reviews, we're certainly not the only ones that have had issues with rude managers but we definitely won't be back. I'll wait out for a sarcastic reply to my review!

I really enjoy the monster burger and the service is is always great. Food is hot.

The worst pizza I have ever tasted. It's a strange sponge base. Like you would have in a trifle. Tasteless. Someone without any talent or taste buds trying to make easy money

This shop does not take card payments...cash only to avoid paying tax ..typical case of money laundering by foreigners...AVOID

Ordered at 4pm for delivery. Was told delivery starts at 5pm so meal will be there 5.30pm. Meal was on time but pizza was cold and kebab was well, didn't even try to eat it! Totally disgusting. Messaged them to sort it out, not bothered at all! Robbing people of there hard earned money !

It is better pizza than dominos or papa John's it's fantastic and the staff are so kind and they are the sweetest people

I've bought a 16" donor pizza for my boys twice now, driven back to Masham, and twice had no donor on it. Won't be buying anymore.

Absolutely shocking here order a cheese burger and cheesy chips and a pizza the burger was freezing and clearly not cooked at all would not go at all

Ordered a calazone just ham and mushrooms not too much too ask for no onions no peppers too find it had them both in the the calazone after biting into it am allergic too onions

So after waiting for 3 phone calls to take priority and a bit of an arsy comment from the girl behind the counter enjoyed an ok pizza nothing to write home about....not really tasty both just similar in taste

I agree with Lauren about the low reviews. We're here on holiday, have used them twice and tried both pizza and burgers with chips. Really friendly, helpful people; hot and tasty food; realistic pricing; reliable delivery. Recommend without reservation.

Just ordered a zorros delivery. First takeaway in months! Absolutely amazing! 100% fresh and hot. Loads of chicken in my kebab and very fresh salad. Spot on zorros

I ordered a meal for me and my family from Zorro Pizza in ripon. The food came freezing cold and looked like it had been sat there for an hour. When I rang to complain the staff did not care and said they would ring back tomorrow - very poor customer service and food is disgusting.

Had been having a pizza from Zorro's once a week for a couple of months, , then I tried one from Dominoes. The pizza's from Zorro's were tasty and well priced and always arrived in good time. Then I tried one from Dominoes, which was over double the price and was about as thick and tasty as the cardboard box it came in. Yes it was quicker to deliver than Zorro but but how long does a piece of cardboard take to deliver? If you want pizza order from Zorro. If you want an expensive piece of cardboard, Dominoes is there for you.

Got my order wrong, so i telephoned to tell them , this turned into a debatevabout who was right and wrong. I explained I'm only going off their menu as to what my meal should consist of. The staff member then told me he is to busy to talk to me and put the phone down. I will never use Zorro again, customer lost.

Absolutely abysmal, had to wait an hour for the food, I was charged £15 for a wrap and a 10 inch pizza. For it to arrive and be stone cold

Very disappointed, ordered a burger and cheese garlic bread. They sent an charged me for 2 burgers and garlic bread with cheese and mushrooms. Will not be using again if the incompetent staff can't even be bothered to listen to what i ordered. If i could give 0 stars i would.

Disgusting food and freezing cold.. went straight in the bin.. forgot to deliver garlic sauce. Person who I spoke to had a attitude problem, will never order from here again. (Not worth one star)

Ordered a chicken parmesan expecting the base to be chicken but they seemed to have replaced it with cheese!! Hand sanitiser they provided was hand wash.. won't be ordering from here again unfortunately

Great food, great service, very friendly. My daughter who is a vegetarian really fancied a veggie kebab and they went out of their way to pack it full of yummy salad, garlic sauce and chilli sauce as they didn't have a vegetarian option but they said they would look into getting something in for vegetarians, how kind. Served by a really super chap.

Shocking to say these guys are charging the people of Ripon for this sub standard food. Toppings drop off pizza, under cooked & flavourless. If you are reading this save yourself the hassle and order elsewhere!

Horrific soggy pizza after waiting over an hour. Plenty of better options in ripon don't waste your money in this place 🙈. All jokes aside it could only be described as the most revolting experience of my life. Trying to forget about it is made even more difficult by the lingering after taste of death. If I had the choice between eating that everyday for the rest of my life or die now I'd choose die now with no hesitation

My wife and I are fist time visit to this shop and it will be are last within 1 hour of eating are order we were both bad on the toylet the burger I orderd was thrown together and the wife chicken was all fat no chicken

Only pizza shop I will go to. That is in the world. There isn't another zorros that I have found. Ours is the best

If your staying at Sleningford Watermill camp site, we called Zorro Pizza and they quoted £9 delivery charge.. decided to give it a miss!

Used several times. Excellent garlic bread with cheese, pizza good. Both include a small pot of mayanaise which is delicious. Speed of service average for takeaway not tried delivery.

Ordered a takeaway from here last night it turned up on time but was absolutely freezing also there was part of the order missing. This was the first time we had ordered from here and it will be the last. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Just had a delivery from Zorros first time I have ordered from them and the last, it turned up cold and half the order missing would not recommend them.

Always go to zorros if we are getting a takeaway, the speed and quality of service is great and the portion size is excellent for the prices they charge. Staff are always happy and friendly, would always recommend to go here for a takeaway

I visit probably about once or twice a week as the food is do with in 25 to 45 mins, the food is always good and the staff there are friendly and will have a joke with u when they are not busy. I have no trouble recommending this takeaway to friends or family.

Food was pretty average compared to other takeaways and not too badly priced. First time ordering from here and it will be the last. We collected our order and when we got home (Thirsk) we realised they had left a whole meal out, 3 portions of chips and got another meal wrong. I called them up to let them know and asked if they could deliver the food they had forgot, I was told to come and collect it because they were busy... So because we had to drive there, I asked if they would refund us the cost of the order they had forgot and they said yes no problem. My boyfriend arrives at the shop, picks up the forgotten food and asks for his money back. The man behind the counter starts shouting saying "that is not how it works!!" When we were told on the phone that a refund would be no problem. He then told my boyfriend to never come back to the shop when he tried to argued for his money back, the guy over the counter then launched for him with spike that holds the receipts!! What disgusting behaviour from a grown man. The delivery men then tried to push my boyfriend out of the door, probably for his own safety They are lucky that the police didnt get involved.

Love their kebabs, the garlic mayo is spot on and friendly service.

We go most Tuesdays after work. Great pizza, plenty of cheese, right amount of topping, dough is perfect, great garlic sauce. Will continue and can highly recommend!

Gnarliest pizza I've ever encountered. Burnt crust and each slice cannot be picked up as the base is so unbelievably soggy. First and last time ordering a pizza from here

We used Zorro’s for a large work Christmas function. All food arrived on time and was piping hot. We had extras kindly added on to our order, which was greatly received. Can’t fault Zorro’s at all, delicious food and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again

I was staying overnight in Ripon for a business meeting. I arrived late and needed something to eat. Popped to Zorros and went for the smallest donner kebab. What a meal. Meat was good but the amount and variety of salad and sauces was amazing. It actually felt like I’d had a healthy meal afterwards. I might move to Ripon. Well done Zorros! I’ll be back.

I had a fantastic chicken kebab here the last time I visited Ripon, and decided to treat myself to an XL Mix Grill Kebab this time. The good stuff first - the chilli sauce and garlic sauce are both excellent, as was the chicken. However, the donner meat was cut into tiny pieces and was very thin. It didn't have much taste. And the salad wasn't so good this time either. No lettuce?! No tomato?!! Both the white and red cabbage didn't seem very fresh and the gherkins (which I raved about last time) were very thick "ends" of gherkin, making them pretty much inedible. I was so excited to have this based on how good the chicken kebab was last time, but sadly I was disappointed

On an overnight visit to Ripon I didn't fancy a sit-down meal so I tried a takeaway instead, and I'm glad I did.

The food is so good and the girl who works there is hot! I'm a lesbian but she is really my type;) really will go back again

We ordered there for the first time. We ordered Donner, House Special, Kids meals and chicken it was all good except for the chicken it was more like a small and we ordered a large. Hope to mention it to them next and see what happens.

Tryed some items off the new menu Zorros has just launched, have the say the new rotisserie chicken is fantastic, with the kids favourite pizzas and a garlic sauce that my family would drink with a straw if I’d let them , defo best in town

Have been using Zorros for years and they have recently had a referb and launched a new menu for there 10th birthday.... I decided to pop down and give the new menu a try and i WAS blown away the wraps are great and the kids love the baby sausages.

Really disappointed. Collected pizzas from here before but thought we would have them delivered tonight. The website says free delivery within 3 miles and 50p extra per mile. Was told they won't deliver because we are too far at Dishforth (6 miles). Change your website to suit your deliveries.

Good pizza at a reasonable price. A little sloppier than I'm used to, but more than compensated by free pot of garlic sauce! Would visit again, if I ever return to Ripon.

Moved into our new house and had nothing to cook with so wanted some pizza! One of the best pizzas I have ever had. Stuffed crust is so good and generous toppings!

Excellent pizza & chips had from here. Opened mid afternoon which was useful when usual alternative didn't open until 5.

Very polite & friendly staff . I ordered a 16" pizza , there was plenty of toppings on it , the only slight criticism I have is that the pizza maybe could have been left in the oven another couple of minutes ( but that's just my opinion ) .

They've really decreased in quality. Pizzas are smaller, with worse toppings, and the dough looks and tastes premade, which is sad since this used to be the best place in town.

No need to go to expensive pizza places; Zorro's is great value for less money! Tip: instead of a pizza, get a cheesy garlic bread with chicken and pineapple. On 'cheat day,' it's the thing my partner and I have a weakness for.

El personal es muy servicial y que llamar para decirnos que están dejando la tienda así que puedo conseguir listos para exterior con algunos estudiantes como obviamente no introduce la escuela. El chico de la tienda es muy servicial y el hombre entrega siempre ofrece para ayudarnos a llevar las pizzas. Los niños elegimos utilizar zorro así como claramente las pizzas en el menú.

Having tried all of the takeaway options I always return to Zorro's for pizza or kebabs. The Texas supreme pizza along with the chicken shawarma are awesome and better value than the chain competitor.

Delicious pizzas, burgers and kebabs and a great fast delivery service is what you get from zorros. I would recommend the meat feast pizza and the mixed kebab. We return time and again.

Pizzas siempre frescos y sabrosos y aún caliente cuando te los entregan. Normalmente se tarda unos 45 minutos para la entrega. Recomiendo la pizza de lujo así como zorros del volcán. Los extras que hacen como las ensaladas también son muy buenas, y a los niños les gusta las comidas de pollo frito.

Called in for a couple of takeaway pizzas. Service was quick, friendly and efficient, and the pizzas were very good. Extensive menu, plenty of choice. Noticed they deliver too.

We use Zorro's every time we stay at Ripon and this time both nights. Delivered to the caravan site we were staying on with a courtesy call 5 mins before hand. Great food fantastic pizza's and well priced. We are back in a couple of days and will defiantly be calling.

The best takeaway in Ripon never had a problem always right top . Attentive staff fantastic fresh food best pizza ever Delivered always on the right time even before the estimated time they say promise.Definitely we will be ordering again and all the time from Zorro's Many thanks
