Visited on a Monday and took advantage of the free pudding. The food was OK, but unfortunately, the service was rather slow.

Always a great place for a pit stop as we head over the Pennines to visit family. Good range of shops and places to eat - and this one remains a firm favourite.

Had excellent food every time I've been!

Nice little bar in fox valley. We shared tapas to eat and enjoyed the food, is was a good balance of good food against the cost, it didn't feel like it broke the bank and we both left with full belly's. Drinks were good too and there's free water on the bar too. Would recommend for people there. Vegan food: They have a whole menu with lots of choice and not the same old 3 meals. Would recommend for those with a vegan or gluten free diet!

We came here last year and everything was much better, this time it was AWFUL! The Bhudda Salad really was for fasting monks sparse bland unfulfilling looks like more in the picture. The Beef Chilli was the worst though, clearly frozen microwaved tiny portion that wouldn’t fill a child never mind an adult. And the tiniest portion of bad quality frozen chips I’ve ever seen - this one tiny dish was £15 !! Won’t ever go here again appalling food, super tiny portions, no pride taken in anything here no wonder it’s always empty.

Excellent coffee and lovely staff.

I do enjoy these lounges, this was a treat for my dad after a walk around langsett. Dog friendly (although two different customers stood on his tail) and the vegan/vegetarian options are decent (I'm sure they're due a change at some point). Drinks are a bit pricey and I don't understand why staff don't wear some kind of uniform so you know who is staff.

Lunch today. Enjoyable. The staff are first class in every way. You must be proud of their professionalism and competence. Friendly and hospitable. Thank you.

Nice food. Can recommend the cowboy burger. Not massive portions. One of our party said the buttermilk chicken was dry and tough and for the money charged, they just got a bit of chicken and some chips. Some of the staff were a bit miserable but my food made up for it! A few bits on the menu weren’t available which was a bit disappointing. Will be back though to try more!

You can always rely on the Lounge Group restaurants for having great food, being brilliant with allergies and intolerances and a good coffee too. This one definitely didn't disappoint and I had a lovely lunch with my 3 year old.

Food is very good (I recommend the berry pancakes) and service is incredible, staff are very accommodating and the atmosphere is lovely - always recommend the lounges !!

Great food and friendly service in nice seroundings

The food Is nice but heavily overpriced I got 10 chips with a really small piece of buttermilk chicken with 4 BBQ chicken wings for around £18 an it wasn't much bigger than a McDonald's happy meal I understand that product prices have gone.up.but this is a joke I ended up going to McDonald's 3 hours later to get some more food as it wasn't filling at all

It was my second visit here and the service was still as it could be. I shall be back for a third visit.

Nice ambience and great service. We ate brunch. We didn't have to wait long for the food after ordering. Unfortunately that is where my dining experience at the Zorro Lounge started to become less favourable. The food was overpriced and the quantity of food was pitifully small. Certainly wasn't value for money imho. It maybe that the lunch/dinner menu is better but personally I wouldn't bother with the brunch/breakfast one.

Like the place as its dog friendly but last couple of times I've been in have been a little disappointed, nothing particularly wrong with the food just seems like the quality of the ingredients has gone down along with the size of the portions but price has gone up. Still love the breakfast

The food was really, really good. Definitely recommend Nasi Goreng and the Bang Bang Chicken. Service was great up until we ordered dessert, which had a long wait. My partner's arrived after mine and had melted. Our server did offer to replace it, though, and apologised for the wait, but overall, we had a good experience there and are looking forward to returning.

Top quality place to eat and drink.

Me and my Mum first visit today we were greeted by a lovely lady and explained the ordering options . We both ordered lounge breakfast the quality of the ingredients was lovely and food was hot and well presented . We regular frequent local farm shops for breakfast but this was definitely the best we had for a long time . Definitely recommend and definitely be back.

My family and I traveled up from Norwich yesterday to visit Manchester for the Take That concert at CO OP LIVE. We stopped at Stocksbridge for a lovely lunch on the way and returned for breakfast prior to the return journey. Lovely food, drink, customer service and all with a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended 🫶

Always a great meal, we come here every Friday afternoon and the staff know us now! Really great lounge and cater to me being gluten free and have a kids area it's a win win!

Another good addition to the lounge chain, which is in an excellent location for a post ship drink or bite to eat.

Came in Friday afternoon with my partner his first time my second. The food was lovely i had the beef brisket chilli 🌶️ again it’s lovely. He had the lounge burger 🍔 and a side of onion rings also garlic and Parmesan cheese chips loved them. Will definitely be coming again. I think the portion sizes are adequate. Was very filling. Had a wine and soda also and he had a soda.

I had an excellent vegan tapas board, with three dishes, each one tasty and distinctive. Reasonably priced too.

Just had one of the best steaks of my life. Fantastic food and service. Will be back and definitely recommend

Probably me of the best fries I've ever eaten. Little wait on food but the place was busy and the food was very fresh so absolutely worth it. Plenty to look at with the quirky decor! Absolutely will be back.

We visited there on Friday 17th May 2024 and for what we payed it wasn't presented correctly the size was a kids meal on the pictures it looks different very dissatisfied and feel robbed to be honest we have visited a few times but it seems to have gone down hill the staff was too good to be working in there very polite & helpful very chatty friendly I felt there embarrassed when they brought my meal. I will not be going again

Firstly, I've eaten here before several times. It's great. Staff, setting and location are all good. The main meals are wide in choice and styles, I have no problem with this, the chef or staff. Last night's visit left a bitter taste in my mouth over portion size. I ordered a side of onion rings, for £3.55, which is on the face of it, a bit more than I'd expect. Tesco, Aldi and such do a bag of frozen for £2.50 (as a guide) and that will get you 750g. What arrived was three. Three unremarkable standard prefrozen onion rings sat in a small bowl looking embarrassed, not even a small pot of mayo either, probably because it would have eclipsed the rings. That means that each onion ring cost £1.18 It only costs £2.50 for fries. The staff did the right thing and offered to refer this to the manager, but you know what? They should have just acknowledged this and sorted the ridiculous offering. I chose not to buy another £6.10 of lager or desert and leave without being ripped off anymore. At least mark the menu up as PORTION OF ONION RINGS (3) for £3.55 and let your customers decide if you offer true value.

Dont think we'll bother going again. Portion size was very small just enough for a child & very overpriced. Food was very bland & presentation was bad. Staff are really lovely but sadly it's gone down hill

Pop in most times we are at fox valley, nice for a break amidst shopping.

Love this place ! Only gave 4* because very unusually the poached eggs were overcooked ! Normal perfect x

Lovely staff, excellent food! My partner and I stopped for a breakfast that filled the gap. My only niggle was not enough sausages on my plate for the price. Overall we would return. Everything on my plate was very tasty and although the sausage was small ot have a lovely taste to it

Love the inside, quirky hotchpotch of furniture. In fact the more you look the more you see. Interesting ceiling architecture. Feel it's on the expensive side and could have more choice of savoury snacks and light bites. Staff very helpful and friendly!

Always a lovely atmosphere to meet family and friends but just as cosy to pop in by yourself and sit and read.

Always nice food, nice drinks and wonderful staff. Dog friendly as well. Don't even have to go in if it's a nice day, outside seating with a QR ordering system and payment so you can sit and order and pay if you like. Breakfast is consistently 😋 yummy with Lounge eggs with bacon, my absolute favourite.

Without doubt the best breakfast muffin that I've ever had and the coffee is amazing too. (3rd visit )

Great gluten free range. Food is delicious. Not the usual gluten free tasteless mess. Beautifully presented and did I mention an entire gluten-free menu? The quality is superb. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Me, my wife and daughter had an amazing brunch here. Typically a picky family as we have a vegetarian, meatatarian and an 8 year old. The service was great and the food was so tasty and fresh. 3 clean plates and 3 happy people.

Came in for brunch and ordered the lounge breakfast and added black pudding. Was easy to order on phone with QR code. Service was good and lots of choice on the menu. Would come again

An interesting atmosphere created by a hotch potch selection of furniture and wall decor. Its warm and welcoming, with plenty of room inside. The external walls are full height glass which can fill the inside with sunlight, and let you watch the world go by outside at the same time. A really interesting warm and welcoming place to spend an hour. Ohh, the food, coffee and service are great aswell. Highly recommended.

An unusual place but service was great. Self service too from their app works well and both food and drink orders were quickly sorted. Cheerful corteous staff which is a bonus nowadays. 5 star cleanliness rating shown on window was reflected at our table. Prices were good too. Will be going there again.

Dog friendly 🐕. We came here with our hound Vladislav the Proud. Staff were very attentive to His needs. Good food, drinks and decor in a nice location. We will visit again.

Very busy but good atmosphere and friendly service.

Stopped here on the way to Hayfield. Had a lovely brunch of eggs, spinach and mushrooms with an oat milk cappuccino. Service was fast and friendly and altogether a pleasant experience!

There was a black hair mixed in the lounge eggs hollandaise sauce. Manager said would feed back to the kitchen obviously someone not wearing hair net!!! Very little apology from the staff and manager. And only refunded the food no offer to pay for the drinks or offer any thing free. Won’t be coming back…

arrived 1pm on tuesday, the restaurant was nearly full. we ordered beef brisket sandwich, beef brisket chilli and sweet potato fries. the portions of meals were in small size. only served a few sweet potato fries and a bit disappointed. the sandwich was lack of side salad to garnish. the chilli was in small portion.

Fabulous authentic English bacon breakfast and more unusual dishes too throughout the day. Cant comment on vegetarian dishes as its not our thing. Lovely local staff and seems very popular with many local clients meaning best to book at busy periods.

Great food, we had a light lunch so ordered 3 tapas dishes and they were all tasty. Being able to order on your phone was a plus with excellent service really quick. Also geared up for babies and toddlers.

Very nice food - had a breakfast but I wish I had had a flatbread (!) They looked lovely Bar was busy but luckily u can pay at table with phone and food came quickly. Nice little play area for toddlers . I wasn’t keen on the dogs - I nearly fell after tripping over one - I have two of my own and I wouldn’t dream of bringing them - it would just stress them out . I am sure most dogs don’t actually like it so why bring them ?

The food was ok. Maybe my choice was to blame. The service was slow for us to get seated, but it was extremely busy.

Staff never asked if everything was ok ( like they used to )They used to make a fuss of our dog and offer water for him. No water offered for the dog. During our visit a nice elderly gentleman made a fuss of our dog and he barked a little. The elderly gentleman was upset as we were told to leave by a miserable female assistant as he thought he was responsible . I said we would like a refund and she offered take away cups!!!!! She turned around without comment and spoke to someone at the back of the store. Returned with the card machine and gave a refund. What a joke !!! Shame as the previously a good experience!! Must’ve change hands no attention to detail !poor service (none). Have a response from the manager since stating a no bark policy!!! Good luck with that !!

A big selection of coffees, teas, alcoholic, non alcoholic drinks. The food is excellent, veggie options are good, atmosphere is lovely and the service and system is the best

A lot of gluten-free options with a dedicated gluten-free menu. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful regarding coeliac and gluten intolerance.

Coeliac friendly, lovely food, everything was very nice. Well worth a visit at reasonable prices as well.

Appalled. I have been a frequent customer and suggested lunch with a friend new to the venue. He visited the toilet and the floor was covered in fecal matter. The dark lighting meant that my friend didn't see it until it was too late. There was no toilet roll and my friend did not know what to do. Other than quickly leave and buy new trousers as his were covered in other people's poo. We complained, he was compensated for new trousers but no real apology. The manager never came to apologise. We ate our food, at full cost and left. I am so embarrassed I suggested the place. I expect better. Revolting hygiene and disappointed resolution.

Great place to eat when Celiac and Dairy Free.

Just came in with the idea of having a drink and some food. Been coming here for some years and always liked the food, atmosphere and experience. However, just sticking to the drink then going for a takeaway. Why? The music is too blooming noisy - can’t hear ourselves think, let alone talk. Beginning to wonder if they’ve changed hands and the staff are running the place for their own benefit.

Only had a coffee but very impressed with the service. Next visit we will definitely eat as the menu looked good and extensive.

Home from home zorro lounge is like the coffee shop in the tv show freands but with beautiful beers and cocktails. The food is realy great and the staff are realy good at there jobs. We ring and round the family and all get together. Yes we all love Zorro lounge.
