Globe in Sheffield

Nice enough but personally not a fan of do many TVs. Great if you're into that though

Watching Escape the Curfew at the tram lines party on Saturday 23rd of July 2022 absolutely amazing,look at what the crowd thought of them.

Local pub, always a great atmosphere.

Absolutely booming atmosphere for a daytime drink. Will be returning at least 4 days a week.

Lots of 7 inch singles on the jukebox, unfortunately half the speakers don't work and the barman only turned it up to 3. Fun sponge.

Music was far too loud for such a small environment, it was a hot day and unbearable inside not the pubs fault but it was to hot to stay inside the pub

Always packed with a good atmosphere

Our train delayed so ended up here for another drink. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Good service, seating inside and out, sports screen for sports lovers. It was packed inside because of football game so sit out and enjoyed our drink, atmosphere and summer.

Long standing decent boozer. Obviously got a big student market. Decent guinness at a good price

Visited in the afternoon, a few regulars in creating a good atmosphere, beer priced very reasonably, good service from the lady behind the bar.

Visitor from Carlisle and I found it on my second night and returned the next day for another go. LOL.. Excellant popular friendly PUB with excellant music. I told one of the staff that we were visiting from a fair distance for a few days break. This is what a PUB should be like and was like when I was young. Sat with a couple outside on the excellant outside sunny area and see told me that she was brought up in it as a kid when her mam and dad ran it. We'll done Sheffield to the warm friendly welcome that the locals gave us. We hope to return. Pat and Jimmy Jamieson from Carlisle.

Went in The Globe last night for the first time,past it lots of times wish I had gone in sooner!..Great atmosphere,great people,great beer,great juke box and the prices were really good.My friends and I will definitely be in again.

Prices are brilliant!! Close to bus stops for us. It was a younger age group than us, but didnt bother us at all. Charley the bar maid was so friendly and natural. Xx

The Globe’s and its staff are excellent! Very friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere inside! Very professional and hospitable making you feel right at home, always on hand if you need anything!! 10/10 would recommend! :D

Fantastic beer prices, the best I’ve seen in the city centre. Jade who works here provided great customer service and even told us the best drink deals. Will definitely come back again.

Friendly traditional city centre bar with a fresh modern feel. Larger on the inside than you would expect from the outside. Several tv screens including a huge screen and speakers. A really good find, highly recommend.

I visited the Globe on Tuesday having come off the train from derby. This establishment is in a prime location for travellers from Sheffield train station. I had previously been here but, it was many years ago and I can’t really remember it. Upon arrival, the bar member who served me was working at taking some paint off the windows (advertising not vandalism) and immediately came over and served me. I asked about the range of ciders and the bar member advised I drink Liley’s Mango which I have had before however, like so I was happy to accept this. I think the cost was around £4.50 give or take. The pub seemed to have everything, it was a clean pub, TV’s on, warm, offered food. I did hear the lovely bar member saying prices have been put up as student have gone back which I completely understand and the bar seemed to offer a lot of different nights in the week, quizzes etc. I would like to see more craft ciders and pop in once it is busier to really get a feel for the atmosphere but overall a pleasant experience. I would definitely return here.

Jade was absolutely fantastic, she was omit, friendly and welcoming. She couldn’t do enough to make our night a memorable one. No matter what, she was on hand to help out and even offered us a table service.

Love coming in, Jade with the red glasses is great. So friendly and she recommended the best drinks.

At Sheffield University for my daughters graduation, so the nearest pub was visited. Nice pub and probably usually full of srudents

What I liked is music and box! Beer is quite expensive comparing to other nearest pubs. Tables aren't clean, the same as toilets. Toilets are awful!! That's not something I would recommend, sorry

I've been using this pub on and off for 20 years. I went in tonight for the first time in ages and was really impressed. The young girl behind the bar was brilliant. I think she's new as she wasn't sure where the Carling pull was, once shown she pulled a brilliant pint. It's a clean, friendly pub with great music.

Came in for my 30th and was served by Jade who was really nice, such a good atmosphere and was made to feel so welcome, will 100% be coming back.

Always come in just to see Jade, serves me with a smile and knows what I'm drinking as soon as I walk in, top notch customer service.
