Loxley Sports Bar & Grill in Sheffield

No food eaten, so can't comment , but other than that a very enjoyable evening was had

I really like this place as a go to especially on a spur of the moment. The carpark is very good and allows a level entry into the top bar. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. If you are disabled or unsteady on your feet there are toilets on the top level and plenty of screens to watch the sports. It can get crowded on match nights but there's never been any trouble. A good variety of drinks with some changes at times and good low alcohol choices as well. Children are welcome and there's an outside table area next to the carpark if you prefer to drink and eat in a quieter atmosphere.

Hace un par de años que no me visitas. Llegó poco después de la apertura. Traté de encontrar una mesa que estaba limpia, todos eran muy pegajosos. También había comida en el piso debajo de 3 de las mesas. El piso también era pegajoso. Necesitan un limpiador o un limpiador nuevo. totalmente insatisfactorio. Nos alojamos como habíamos hecho el viaje. La señora del bar era muy cortés, la comida era deliciosa, lasaña y fish & chips. Qué pena que no volvamos, ya que era tan sucio. Ojalá hubiera leído las críticas antes de ir, ya que otras críticas dicen lo mismo sobre la limpieza.

Absolutamente sucio, alfombras pegajosas, goma de mascar pegada al suelo, inodoros probablemente más limpios que el área del bar TBF, me sorprendió, solía ser encantador, no comería una comida en las mesas sucias n sillas, tal lástima, no me sorprende que estaba casi vacío

Easy going sports bar, good selection of drinks to sup whilst watching your team on the various tvs! Booths are available with smaller 'private' tvs too...

The service , food and atmosphere were excellent, really enjoyed ourselves.The menue has something for everyone, and they do have special offers .I can Happily Recommend the place 😊👍🏻

My daughter booked here for today after our walk back from rivelin haven’t been here for years but will definitely be back the food was absolutely lovely the Sunday lunch was 5* and the staff are so nice perfect afternoon thank you 🙏

Lived closeby locally for a long time, and pleased to say the food here has improved greatly and menu updated. The best news is the quality is much higher, and prices are reasonable too. The pictured steak I had was absolutely perfect, and the Farmers Blonde was a perfect pint. As it was my birthday, this made me a very happy birthday boy and made for a lovely family meal. (All 3 other meals were really enjoyed as well) Thanks to the manager and his staff for a nice birthday experience.

There food quality are really good

Went to loxley for tea and such a great experience. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and really helpful. Heather and Adele are standout! Had the small plates this evening and they were all really great. Cooked well and presented lovely. We'll definitely be back. A great venue for all occasions.

We went as a group of 5 to watch England Rugby on TV, the pub staff couldn't have been anymore accommodating and the food was good however I think the pub really need some child policy in place as the whole experience was ruined by a shortage of beer and more importantly several young kids running around and screaming loudly whilst there parents and some staff just sat looking on!!! Its disappointing to say that we had good reviews of this pub but we won't be in a hurry to revisit.

Paid somewhere around £4 per pint for something that resembled a urine sample and possibly tasted the same under the name of Heineken. Not a pub I would rush back to visit .

We help my daughters 5th Birthday Party this weekend and it was absolutely lovely. The event space is nice and big, Heather and the other staff members blew up our balloons and decorated the room, they had 2 members of staff on the bar so people never had to wait long. They were really flexible and management was always available for questions despite it being busy upstairs: they catered the party and everyone enjoyed the food. They took care of all the clearing up with no complaints. I highly recommend them ❤️

After a football victory last night ,which saw our u12 girls win the league, we ventured to The Loxley Sports Bar & Grill for a celebratory pint. On arrival, the manager couldn't have been more welcoming and to celebrate, made the girls (and parents) some chip butties as a well done. Little acts of kindness like this go a long way. The atmosphere inside was outstanding. I would highly recommend.

Loxley is a great local pub! Staff are very friendly and the food is lovely too! Amazing beer garden and great play area for kids in the summer too!

Like the layout of this place on different levels, food good, service very good two girls worked non stop on bar serving, bringing food out,clearing plates and glasses

It's hard to find a poor pint of Farmer's Blonde in Sheffield, but they have it here. Over the hill, with sour yeasty notes of lines needing a clean. On the flip side, it's a nicely furnished place with a good outdoor seating area.

Stayed in a b and b recently and needed a place to go for dinner. Found this one locally and finished up going every night that week. Food was excellent and prices reasonable. Service very good and staff polite and friendly. Highly recommended.

Sorry but serving "smash" powdered potato with pie etc isn't on ..otherwise it would have been lovely.

Went for a running club social and had a blast. Nice outdoor area, huge pub, nicely decorated. Great vegan onion rings!

We just had a Private Function here, it was Amazing, The Loxley team couldn't do enough for us. We had full use of their private bar located downstairs. we opted to book a DJ and a Buffet with the venue and everything was perfect. The buffet was so much more than your usual sandwiches, sausage rolls etc, We had Burgers, Pizzas, Loaded Nachos, Hotdogs, BBQ Chicken Legs and alot more.. The staff we're very attentive throughout the night and made our night even more special. There's a huge range of beers, wines, cocktails and spirits Thank you so much, Loxley Team.

We recently had our South African get together at Loxley Sports Bar and I can’t thank Damien and the team enough for everything. We had private use of an area which was great. Nothing was too much trouble and the team was very accommodating during the planning stage and even more so, the night of the event. We had an amazing time and won’t hesitate to make use of the venue again for future functions. I would highly recommend contacting Damien if you need a space for a party.

had a brilliant time for partners surprise 30th birthday. Damo and staff was absolutely amazing and did a great job. Offered to decorate the pub and lay out all the food for me to save me rushing. Everyone had a great night and the staff would constantly check everyone/thing was ok.

Nice friendly sports bar that does decent food. At the moment it's half price meals Monday to Wednesday in Jan and Feb so REALLY good value. Could have more beers on as two of the pumps seemed to be off but otherwise great place

2 bars (one on ground level and one down), pool table and plenty of tvs to watch sports. Beer variety is OK too. Toilets are down a flight of stairs so unless there are disabled toilets on the ground level that I didn't notice this wouldn't be disabled friendly. Definitely come back to watch sports in the future

Amazing service, good food and drink at a decent price

Music seemed to be dictated by a few of the locals. Very loud at times. Then the Lads asked for the Tv to be turned up so we couldn't hear ourselves talk

Does what it says on the tin. Good choice if drinks, decent pub grub and screens everywhere for sport. My preferred destination for watching football.

Had my sons christening here yesterday, and it was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, price good and the buffet food was amazing, I had so many people saying how nice the food was, would not hesitate in having other functions here in the future! Thank you :-)

I don't do reviews but the bar manager/landlord inspired me (what a complete a*s***e)if it's a warm welcome with no trouble I suggest anywhere but here. Don't believe me go see for yourself.

My mother in law celebrated her birthday yesterday and wanted somewhere the family could go that was nice food and could accommodate 7 children and 9 adults, well this was definitely the place to go! We got a nice long table next to the play area and bouncy castle and the service from Damian and his team was 10/10. The food was so good and we’ll definitely be back again soon!

Ordered Hunters chicken no bbq sauce and no bacon also fish chips and peas very small portion for price and no tarter sauce. Got an apology said they had a new chef. Probably not go back

Me and my partner always come on for food. Every time we come the staff are always nice and the atmosphere is good. Foods always great and hot. Would recommend!

Very nice. Fully Covid compliant. Just bear in mind they are not currently serving food, but are happy for you to have food delivered to your table (just eat etc). Which I think is a great idea.

I just want to say , great work to the team down at loxley bar and grill. I have been to pick my fella up to take the car home. He looks like he’s had a real good time . I was able to be seated with him for a while I waited. very good social distancing rules in place. Amazing 🤩

It’s the second time I’ve ever eaten in the Loxley and I can’t fault the service in these harsh times, the burgers were 241 we had a few drinks!!! Couldn’t have asked for anymore from the staff. Thank you we will definitely be coming again

When here for my step dads 60th party and was lovley great staff.. lovely very nice venue.

Our team visits regularly and the staff are always so friendly and accommodating! Reasonable prices on food and drink, and a good selection of sports on tv.

Quite an unexpected place to enjoy a coffee. Lovely friendly staff that brought our order to our table after ordering at the bar. Our early teatime visit meant that it was quiet but soon got a little busier. Coffee was lovely and nice n hot.

Nice selection of beer and a very enjoyable Christmas meal. Our team definitely hope to return again for our spring social.

We went to The Loxley as part of a works night out, what a good choice it was too, many thanks to Damien and other lad working there (can't remember his name), food great price and more importantly good food too, great range of drinks, well worth a visit if you are anywhere near by.

I’ve never had a lamb shank THAT tough before; I almost asked for a steak knife but instead gave it up as a bad job. The gravy was nice and the veg over cooked; at least the potatoes were on point. The service was great and the drinks reasonable

Beautiful food but a bit pricey

Me and my partner come here all the time. We have food most times we come and it is usually very good. Only had one problem here but after we put in a complaint to the manager it was handled professionaly. Happy to come here again.

We usually eat here recently had a bad experience with a staff member sent a email to the manager and he handled it really well was given vouchers for 2 free meals for the mistake on our meals last time and had a chat with the manager and resolved the issues with the team member will definitely be coming back soon , really nice pub and good food and friendly manager who is happy to help with complaints

The best thing about Loxley sports bar is all the TV's for watching sport, the second best part was the bus home with my dog.

I've not tried it yet but if there's a clique like there used to be think I'll give it a miss.

Pub quiz here on a Friday is brilliant! The best we have been too. It’s an interactive quiz with a DJ and is great fun. Drinks and surroundings top notch too 10/10

It’s not really a sports bar as they will only show football ,I was turned down twice at the weekend when I asked if the rugby could be shown on 1 TV apperantly the football scores are more important so I left went to Ball...

The food here is first class and they have a great selection of real ales and draft lagers. Service is brilliant and we all enjoyed what we ordered. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area

Visited numerous times over the years as champs and as before staff and venue just as good as they always have been. Menu has been changed with some long time favourites now missing which is a shame, chicken and chorizo baguette been one and kids...
