Andrea was a great host and delivered perfect service.

Had the salmon and pesto risotto, which was lovely, not too heavy but not too light. Andrea was lovely, and gave me some pasta crisps on the house as well!

Went to Zizzi's for the first time in York and it was absolutely brilliant. Our server Bea was amazing with my 2 year old nephew and just amazing in general. So friendly kind and welcoming. Made the dining experience even better!

Bea who looked after us was great. She was very personable and gave us time to order. She even told me if I couldn’t eat it all she could box it up for me. Would definitely come back.

One of the loveliest and friendliest restaurants I have been to. Staff were extremely helpful and big shout out to Bea! I had a discount code too and Bea made sure it came off bill. She also helped with any queries we had about our decision on food to order and we got complimentary snacks too! Great location, great affordable price and the restaurant was lovely and clean. Food was delicious and lots of choice on menu. Will definitely come here again when I visit York.

It was underwhelming I understand that it was busy when we actually came in so I didn’t mind waiting on food, however it felt like the staff were more occupied dealing with uber orders rather than actual customers in the restaurant food was average… We ordered desserts, took almost 20 minutes for them to arrive even tho the place was pretty much quiet at that point oh and had to ask a waitress for a cutlery TWICE 😁 Will definitely not be back Oh also apparently everyone gets complimentary nibbles for the table… didn’t see any nibbles on our one

Visited Zizzi York this afternoon for an impromptu meal with our son. We hadn’t pre-booked and wasn’t sure if we’d be lucky enough to get a table but was greeted by Ryan, one of the managers, who happily sorted us out a fantastic table at short notice. From the second we got through the door the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly and we were quickly served with drinks whilst looking over the menu. Menu choice was very extensive with definitely something for every preference across both starters and mains. Once decided our order was quickly taken and in a short time our piping hot starters were being enjoyed. Highly recommend the pork and garlic meatballs for starter and Casareccia Pesto Rosso for mains. Excellent service all round from both Ryan and Andrea and would highly recommend as a place to eat when in York. 10/10

As a fan of Zizzi, I have visited this branch a handful of times and each time it’s been a brilliant experience! Staff are always super attentive and provide top tier service, and the food is always sublime. A lovely spot in York!

Went in as a large group on a Saturday evening. All the meals were pre-ordered and the restaurant knew how many were coming in. Despite us doing this, it took an hour and a half to get about a dozen starters and we were past 2 hours before the mains came out. Food was average and everything seemed rushed by that stage. The sauce on my pasta was really bland, despite it being meant to be spicy. My son's pizza was just cooked but others were coming out underdone or overcooked. Whole evening was a bit of a disaster even with trying to do things in advance. In fairness, the restaurant manager did his best when things were going awry, but can't recommend really at all.

We had a party of 8, we didn't book we just walked straight in and were given a table with a highchair for the little one who was with us. Staff were really good and attentive, and when the little one dropped her bread on the floor it wasn't a problem to bring her a new piece. We had a lovely meal and we loved the Pasta Crisps

We ordered our food from a great waitress, Hollie was excellent, however our food was very slow arriving, well over 30 mins, so slow in fact that we were granted our drinks free of charge, which was nice. The food was good but not excellent, the pasta wasn’t hot and the Salmon was overdone.

We've recently moved to York & went to zizzi last night. The service was great & food was amazing. We will definitely be going again soon.

Comida buena sin embargo... Restaurante de ninguna manera lleno, y no se puso más ocupado mientras estuvimos allí, así que ¿por qué estábamos sentados justo al lado de la cocina y bar / labranza. Servicio lento para empezar, después de 15 minutos estábamos a punto de salir cuando se tomó nuestro pedido de comida. La comida era decente, sin embargo no estoy seguro de que nos molestaríamos de nuevo, es un restaurante italiano genérico de pizza.
