Zizzi - Bankside in Southwark

It's never easy serving a table of 10 people but the two gentlemen from Spain and check did everything to make our stay a fantastic experience. Food is a great value, portion are always large and atmosphere was lovely.

WOW! just brilliant, the ambience, the design is amazing and the location right next to the Tate and The Globe is epic. Staff were fantastic and the food was great. Thanks Zizzi. You rocked it!

Came here for a pre- theatre meal. The good was excellent, freshly cooked and delicious. The position of the restaurant, beside the Thames, was amazing. Seating is spread well apart so feels lovely and spacious. Service was second to none, a special thanks to Ayana, who did a perfect job, a lot of much more expensive restaurants would benefit from observing her skills. Will be back!!!

Wonderful pasta for kids and adults. Very nice and attentive staff, great views and location. Loved the warm, friendly and informal athmosphere. Highly recommended.

Went there last evening with my family. We all ordered the three-course menu. After nearly 2 hours we'd still only had two courses. Then we noticed that the kitchen was unstaffed, and there were only 2 waiters left trying to cope. Eventually the 3 kitchen staff and 2 waiters (one of whom it transpired was the duty manager) reappeared in their coats from their smoke-break. After some argument (and sacrificing our dessert), we were given a 50% discount. Cheekily, the 12.5% discretionary tip for large parties had still been added - naturally we refused to pay this. This particular restaurant has been our go-to location for the last few years. I did notice that there's a Bill's nearby, so that will probably become our new Christmas dining place.

Italian food worth a try A family lunch that ordered a pizza, pasta and rice. Despite there don’t have Earl Grey tea, other drinks and food are good and worth a try.

We had booked a table for dinner with our daughter taken to a table reasonably promptly but went downhill from there we had a grab the attention of a waitress to order and then sat for 45 minutes , no drinks not even water or food the restaurant was not full -very bad service not what i expect from Zizzi we’ve eaten at several other beaches and enjoyed it

Our second time here. Great location. If you arrive early you can get river view. Food always good. We got a mix of food. olives and calamari good apps. For meals we got Ravioli de Capra, Spaghetti Bolognese, Classic pizza with mushrooms. All great!

Locale sporco e maleodorante, bagni osceni e per arrivarci bisogna praticamente scendere nelle catacombe, cibo scadente (insalata fredda da frigo, idem le verdure). Di italiano non ha proprio nulla. Da evitare assolutamente

Wish I read the reviews before. No customer care. Staff arguing with each other. Food appalling. I would of preferred a pot noodle on a plate it would of been tastier. Completely lacking in atmosphere apart from feeling like you have walked in and shouldn’t off. Great views though so a massive shame and will won’t be going back.

The menu sounded nice, particularly the fondatu sharing board which we had as a starter. But in reality every piece was dry, crispy and overcooked, the molten cheese fondue boiling hot like it it had come out of the microwave. Somehow the fresh pasta was dry and overcooked and the sauce wasn’t great. To be fair the pasta was edible but sludgy and felt like it had been rustled up by a student on a budget. Think Zizzi is the best pizza place to eat at and this was no exception, lovely food and drinks and fantastic service complimented by the free dried pasta snacks , will be back .
