very nice experience from start to finish. Brooke and Sophie looked after us well. Food seemed better than another local Zizzi I have visited and due to location no constant annoying interuptions from Deliveroo, Just Eat etc collections. Good value if you receive one of their offers

I came here and we ordered our drinks and they came and they said they had no pasta crisps but they got some out of the bottom for us and then we ordered our food and the food was amazing my pizza was well cooked the dough was soft my sauce was really flavoured and so was my cheese and they put about 30 slices of pepperoni on it it’s a bit pricey but it’s really good

I have avoided this Zizzi’s for a while as the last couple of times the service has been terrible, made the decision to give it another go and am so happy we did as the service and food were really good, will defo go back again now

Lovely visit staff gave great service. Food was good value for money and tasted great. I would recommend when out shopping in Cheshire oaks.

Food was great and the service we received was friendly and professional. The food was not like eating in a chain food place, it was cooked nicely and presented well. Brooke our server, was a lovely friendly lady who did a first class job and made us feel so at home, we will be back very soon. My partner is disabled and Brook made sure she enjoyed her experience at Zizzi’s.

Is sad to see a site I was trained when I joined Zizzi as General Manager for Chester few years ago going down the hill ☹️ empty restaurant apart of 2 other tables, we had to ask to be allowed to sit at one of the tables next to the window ( which might show people passing by that the restaurant was not empty) ordered a bottle of wine (first option out of stock) second came with a very dirty wine glass which we asked to be change for a clean one, waiter came back with same glass passed through the steam of the coffee machine so it was HOT not ideal for the wine. Starters ok ish we had to ask for plates and knives and told that they didn’t have any clean because it was not a KP in the restaurant, but what it really infuriated me was the size of the Calzone!!! It look more like a ravioli if that was my restaurant I will have had a good chat with my kitchen Manager because he was not following the specs or the company has changed them. Either way it was a poor size portion and to finish the experience we had 2 espresso coffee without saucers or spoons or sugar so to be honest it makes me so sad seen this happening at Zizzi.

We were a party of 3. 2 starters served (prawns and mushrooms) with a promise the third was on the way. Waited to eat ours but became clear ‘on the way’ was not a quick option so our friend told us both to get stuck in. Prawns already going cold. Friend’s starter then arrived - raw dough in the middle and not cooked. Her starter was returned and she didn’t want another. Mains - calzone (ok but loads of water came out when cut into it and for a calzone it’s not actually all that big for what the price is!) Hand stretched pizza was nice Harrisa pasta - just average Asked to take deserts away as we were fed up of the wait times and - that took forever and a day too! The place was not busy, we should have guessed to avoid it when this was the case! Our waitress was not at fault at all, it was the slow service from the kitchen, not reading orders/or only reading part orders.she took 2 drinks off the bill and didn’t charge my friend for her starter or desert- she was helpful and again this review does not reflect her service the issue was most definitely in the kitchen Table next to us also sent food back.

Came for a rare date night, and the food was lovely; the Wild Garlic & Pesto Bombe was absolutely gorgeous. The staff member (Casey) could not have been nicer, she was polite, friendly, and amazing. Service was second to none. Also, a shout out to Sian who assisted in the kitchen, as I think a chef had rang in sick. She stepped up, and handled the night amazingly.

I know it's a chain but this was very good, food was spot on. The belly pork was really good, and the service (thanks, Justin) was excellent. Lovely lunch after some hectic shopping !

I had a set 3-course meal for £25.95 the service was slow and the portions were small by the time by the time we got our main it was only lukewarm.

My wife and I called in for a meal mid afternoon after shopping nearby, we go seated OK, the service was friendly enough but the meal a bit of a disappointment, my first choice King Prawns was off the menu so I opted for the Beef Ragu, which was spoiled buy being served in a cold dish with a very weak sauce, and very little evidence of beef. My wife had the sea bass which she said was quite good, we both had a bottle of Peroni, which even by restaurant prices was well overpriced. No reason to rush back, there is plenty of choice in this area.

Lovely place to eat. Helpful and friendly staff and they told us about the discount for staying at the travelodge. Very tasty and hot food. Would definitely recommend and use again.

We couldn't even get in to the restaurant they only had one of the 2 doors unlocked and my daughter was in a wheelchair there was no staff to help

Went here for lunch yesterday with my Mum and Dad. Great location in Cheshire Oaks with friendly and professional staff and lovely food (I had the triple pepperoni pizza and lemon and blackcurrant cheesecake). The free crisps at the beginning were lovely too! Highly recommended!

Went here today for a late lunch as we had Tesco vouchers. We've not visited a Zizzi before and it was very quiet when we walked in although this was expected as it was late afternoon and midweek. It's nicely decorated inside and clean and we received a prompt and pleasant welcome from the young (chatty) waitress. It's a very large menu with all the usual Pasta and pizzas dishes you would expect plus a number of other more unusual choices. Myself and my son both chose their 'Rustica' style pizza, were the base is spread thinner, much like the Romana style that Pizza Express offers. My wife chose the Salmon and Avocado salad. Drinks arrived together with a bowl of complimentary pasta crisps, a nice touch. The food arrived quicker than anticipated and was nicely presented. Our pizzas were a generous size and absolutely gorgeous, perhaps the best base we have had, very thin and crispy and perfectly cooked. The pepperoni topping my son had got full marks for both quantity and taste. I had the 'Sticky Pig' with various toppings including pulled pork, meatballs and honey. Again, the toppings were plentiful and tasty, although I did not like the 'nduja' but that was my personal preference. Sadly my wife was disappointed with her salad or I should say, her Salmon. She said it did not taste fresh and was neither hot and crispy or chilled. It was a small portion as well for a dish costing what it did, or would have done without the vouchers. She did try some of my pizza and also raved about it and said she'd have one of those next time. For pudding, two of us had the baked Lemon and Blackcurrant cheesecake which was gorgeous. The bill came to nearly eighty pounds so its not cheap and we probably wouldn't come to this type of place if 'paying' but will certainly return on the Tesco deal......for the Pizza !!

I went for my birthday and I was let down as soon as I walked in. The layout was lacking and dusty / tired looking and the waitress evidently didn't want to be there. The waitress let the whole experience down for me - no attention to detail, put cutlery down with no eye contact and walked away, forgot to provide basics of salt and pepper and when I asked for parmesan cheese, I got a little pot with no spoon - the other table (served by someone else) got a big block of cheese grated over their meal. We didn't feel special at all - despite costing nearly £80. The food - nice, if you had pizza. Kids and other half loved their pizza. The prawn linguine was under seasoned, tasteless and average. The garlic bread was overcooked and slightly burned. I realised that I have been to a Zizzi on London and it is was like a different restaurant and worlds apart.

Very poor service - simply do not have the staffing capacity in the kitchen for restaurant orders and delivery orders. Appear that delivery orders were being prioritised over restaurant orders.

Waited a while to be served. Drinks took a lengthy time to arrive and we was not made aware a shandy would include the price of a full beer and pint of lemonade, when only a quarter of the opened bottle was poured into a glass. The is open, you can see. We paid £10 for a pernoi shandy - ridiculous. We was not made aware of any wait times, we only ordered mains but took a little over an hour for food. Service to be said was not the best, lady who served us was nice enough but felt we were being avoided incase of any concerns. Food portions for the price are laughable. Overall we left angry, annoyed and a little hungry still after paying £50+.

Love this place always prompt on service and the food is amazing, after ordering our food came too our table quickly by the lovely waitress called Jo she was very tentive and chatty. All staff were very friendly the place has a lovely environment and food is fab.

We went here for a meal this evening the waitress that served us was quite rude and abrupt in her manor We ordered the little Saul breads with dips One of the dips had obviously been dipped in by a previous customer!and the breads were burned and had soot on them We ordered our main course and and about 15 minutes later the waitress came to us and said we haven’t got what you ordered pick something else!! When the food arrived it was piping hot But microwave blasted hot!! And had no taste and the chicken was not edible When we wanted to pay a very nice waiter came over to us asked if everything was ok We explained that our experience from start to finish was terrible He waved our bill as he said the service and the food should have been better We explained it was not his fault and we left Needless to say we won’t be eating here ever again

Our first visit to this chain of restaurants and the food and services was excellent. Reasonably priced and very tasty. Will definitely use again when we can.

Service was fine, no complaints there. However, size of the portions were a joke. Son had spaghetti bolognaise and it was like a starter size, we had pasta and wasn’t much better. We were still hungry when we got home. The average price of a main course is about £17 and so I wasn’t happy to see how little food was on the plate. Wouldn’t go back.

Awful food with lack lustre service. I asked for a glass of wine and watched as 3 staff stood by the bar chatting for 5 minutes and then thought about getting our drinks. It took over an hour to receive our food and the place was empty! They got our order wrong and the calzone was mainly dough and no filling. Won’t be returning.

Came here for dinner with a friend, I had to send an item back due to the flavouring not tasting like the description. I was very apologetic and polite to the staff asking for a switch on the item and I felt like the staff member I spoke to (possibly manager) was very rude to me, he looked at me like I spat on him or something. To make matters worse in relation to the situation, I could hear three members of staff saying belittling and degrading comments about myself due to wanting an item change, I felt that this was rather unprofessional from the staff present, I don’t feel comfortable coming back and I believe staff need training on customer service, I felt uncomfortable during the whole meal.

Absolutely awful - both food and service. Waited ages for our mains, but only two of the three came, the first two were cold by the time the third had arrived. Had to call the waitress seven times before she acknowledged us to ask where the third meal was, she was only a couple of metres away! Even when the third meal came, the chips were cold. We were charged for the three course set menu but only received two of the courses. Ended up paying via app and leaving no tip as we were so late for our cinema booking. Considering only 4 tables were occupied, we saw others leave as they had waited too long for their food, and the two ladies on the table next to us waited so long to pay. Very disappointing and not Zizzi's usual standard. Won't be returning.

We have been here many times as a couple and always been pleased. Looking to meet family for a pre Christmas get together. Thought 3 course Festive Menu looked good so we suggested and booked. What a total embarrassment. We waited ages to be served and we finally got our starters 50 minutes after arriving. One had been kept hot and was like cardboard. There were 2 chefs and 2 waitresses and a Supervisor. The restaurant wasn’t that busy and they should have coped. I asked if they were short staffed but was told normal staffing for a Monday. Table slow to be cleared and never completely cleared and the cutlery was dirty. We spoke to Supervisor about waiting time and fact they had no potatoes for the Chicken calabresse. Potatoes can be stored for several weeks so how could this be? We were told the delivery on Saturday had not brought potatoes!! Sainsburys over the road? The chips replacing the potatoes were overcooked and you couldn’t get a fork in them. The pizza came with charred bits of dough indicating pan had not been cleaned properly. The desserts were the best course. The Supervisor apologised and took the drinks off the bill. We appreciated the gesture. However this was a family get together for Christmas and we were happy to pay the bill for good quality food and service and a pleasant experience. Which this was not. We won’t be returning and in the current climate if this branch don’t up their game they won’t survive in my opinion.
