Went on a Monday and found we were the only customers. The chef and waiter greeted us with big smiles which was a good start. Told him we had a Wowcher, No problem. Got our drinks and the waiter gave us five mins to order our starters. When we got that out of the way he gave us another five to sod around choosing mains. Got to say that some of the items on the menu I,d never heard of before(will get back to that later). The starters came up a little on the small side but were quite nice. The mains(one Passanda, one Korai and one Tikka Mossala were reasonable sized but all three were very different from what I had ever had before!!! They just weren,t what we were used to. They were very nice, and I think reading between the lines and the strange items on the menu led me to conclude that Chef might not be your average East End/Essex Indian restaurant chef. Possible he is from some obscure part of the Asian Subcontinent. Plus points...... good flavoured mains, nice rice and sides. Friendly geezers. Minus points.....small starters, Peshwari nans came up plain. No draft beers(despite at least two pumps at the bar). That's why it,s only three stars. Just remembered none of the phone numbers work so had to take a chance they were open

Bought a wowcher which was worth £90 of food for up to 6 people. There were 4 of us, we only ordered £50 worth of food at most, yet were charged £2 extra for lamb tikka masala, this however contained 6 small pieces of lamb that had bones in, no salad with chicken shashlick, one sheekh kebab per person, never had this served in any other Indian restaurant, always get at least two. Never use this place again! Don't be taken in by the vouchers.....

Had a wowcher voucher for 6 people. No greeting from the waiters & every dish tasted the same-SO BLAND The waiters messed up our orders & some dishes we ordered, we didn't get. In all we waited an hour for the starter, then over an hour after the starter the main came. Then we were told there were no desserts even though they're on the menu. Topped off with no goodbye. I do not recommend!!

Popped in for a take way this evening and was very impressed. Very nice food and great service. Nice to see a few couples in there having a good time. This venue has changed hands about 5 times in the past 6 years and it now looks like it's in safe hands at last. It is also licensed and so now so you can get a decent beer whilst enjoying the food/waiting for your order. Keep it going guys.

Our group of 8, had a groupon, its a small restaurant but there's plenty of parking outside, décor inside is a smart looking café, there was only 1 waiter and thankfully there was only 2 other tables of 2, as the service was slow, due to how much this waiter had to do, but he tried his best and was friendly, the food was good, loved the tikka naga dupiza , some dishes could have been temperature hotter, but we enjoyed what we had, it was a very hot evening and they had fans on to keep us cool. we went on a Tuesday evening, I wouldn't go on a busy night unless another waiter appears then, if your local defo try it, but I wouldn't travel to far to eat here. but would go again,

Four of us went here recently with a Groupon voucher. The waiter who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming, although he was slightly stressed as he appeared to be on his own.He soon brought us our menus though and we ordered our poppadoms and drinks. The restaurant is by no means grand. It is more cafe like, but that was not a problem as the food that followed was really good.Generous portions and very fresh tasting. We did have to wait maybe a little longer than other restaurants, but it was worth the wait.We would definitely go back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch. Amazing Indian and Srilankan food!! I cannot sing their praises enough and I am a massive foodie! We had masala dosa (heavenly!) omelette (Indian style) and biriani (gorgeous!) all reasonably priced. This came to £20 and was ample for two people. I was eager to promote this place and I was really sad to see one previous review which might be killing their business. I don’t think they are savvy enough to respond to bad reviews. The customer service was also excellent, south Asians are known for their hospitality. Please support this business if you can 🙏 oh and they have parking too 👏
