The best Chinese in the area. So accommodating and lovely food!

Usually this Chinese is great but today the beef in black bean sauce was terrible. The beef was tuff and there was not even hardly any sauce. I tried to ring the restaurant to complain but the phone kept ringing off. Very disappointed ☹️

you have became my fav Chinese place so yummy! only criticism is the peanut butter chicken skewers one time they was yummy , next time watered down do wa horrible, please keep the sausage thick and chicken crispy

half my order was missing and was given food I didn't order, after I called them my partner had to go and collect the missing food! kind of defeats the object of ordering in.

They cancelled my order without telling me and left me waiting for two hours for food late on a Friday night and had to order elsewhere last minute. Also confusing website considering they have multiple shops around Bristol.

Don't think I've ordered from them before. Delivery was quick & hot. l ordered crispy chilli beef which was crunchy lovely, 2 very large spring rolls that didn't have that horrible aniseedy flavour, & noodles with real veg. Plenty for another meal or freezer. l will be ordering from them again.

Veg spring rolls were tasty, but the rest was mediocre at best. Really poor quality meat. Overcooked noodles. Couldn't eat the chicken.

My order never arrived and it never updated on the system past the acceptance. I was unable to contact the restaurant though trying 13 times.

Some of the food was lovely but other dishes weren’t great . Chicken curry ? I’m unsure if it’s actually chicken ? But the curry itself has a great taste .. chips weren’t very good ..duck/ pancakes were lovely and a nice portion size . Overall 6.5/10

I didn’t get the food I paid for not happy at all

I can’t honestly answer on atmosphere this was a delivery order. The food was tasteless and put me in bed all weekend with full on food poisoning. Spent £40 a mix of chicken chow mein, rice, prawn crackers and other goods - it should have been delicious. The service was very slow, and had to be chased several times. The delivery driver was apologetic and friendly, nothing wrong with that at all. The food was hot but was clearly reheated several times, again on chasing of the order. Food was ordered in good faith and I had heard good things. I will not order again but hope you take better care of other customers as I’ve lost my weekend unwell in bed. Still feeling generally unwell and very let down.

Usually this place is really good. However today was unusually bad. I ordered Salt and Pepper ribs which were very tough and chewy. Salt and Pepper chips, which for some reason the box they came in was absolutely caked in oil, to the point it seemed like someone has just poured a bottle of crisp n dry on it, ruining the chips. The S&S Chicken Balls were crispy but tough on the inside. Just really bad today.

Scrummy😋. My only complaint is I ate too much🙈, finished mine, finished the mrs’s then had another go at what we left in the trays😂. Delicious as always, thanks

Zheng is our go to takeaway when it comes to Chinese food! Always good quality and full of flavour, the chicken balls are awesome and the won ton soup is now my favourite thing ever. 10/10!!

Ordered a salt and pepper munch box, absolutely no seasoning whatsoever so ever, just tasted like a box of fried chips and chicken. All pieces of chicken and ribs were so small they were dry and chewy. Everything lacked flavour and taste and all tasted of oil. However it arrived early and was hot. Wouldn’t order from here again!

I've used Zheng Chinese takeaway numerous occasions and I have always been happy! Food is very tasty and not greasy or salty which I've found with other chinese takeaway! Food is always delivered promptly and is always nice and hot and they give a fair portion of meat with each dish! Highly reccomend!

Driver very rude. Asked the driver to come to my flat door of which he refused at first. I explained I had a heart failure and he continued to tell me to collect my food downstairs. I live in upstairs apartment and I’ve paid for my delivery so how can he tell me in a rude manner to collect my food at the downstairs entrance. I ordered the food at 20:00. Expected arrival time was 20:45-21:00 which was perfect. We were just finishing off the kids baths and the food arrived at 20:15. I told the driver the food was a lot earlier than we had expected and he told me most people are pleased when the food arrives early. I said I’ve got a toddler and a newborn who need to be fed and put down before we can eat and now the food will be cold when we get to it. He literally suggested I put some cushions around it to keep it warm. Also suggested I choose the arrival time in future but that has never worked before. Not annoyed at the driver. He’s just doing his job. We only allow ourselves 1 takeaway a month as a treat and tonight we ate it cold. Also according to maps it is a 10 minute drive from Zheng to ours meaning it was cooked, dished and bagged within 5 minutes. We order from this place a lot but unless things change it will no longer be worth it.
