Ellas con *************** solía ser el mejor restaurante turco en Green Lanes pero ha sido tomada por Diya Bakr. Y, por supuesto, que significa dos cosas. Los precios suben y las porciones bajar.

Use to love gokyuzu but the past year it has gone completely downhill! Been going to Zer recently and its definitley our new favourite the doner is amazing and so is the lahmacun. Complimemtery Tea amd dessert is always offered which is a nice treat

We went here when it first opened. I loved the decor the atmosphere was great. Its different but I loved it. We went as a family. Everything was great. The food is normal. We have been a few times since.

Now we all know that the haringay stretch of green lanes is full of kebeb houses.Some are good some are not so good but Zer sits in a league of its own.This restaurant has set a new standard which the rest should follow.The menu is extensive and they also offer a good Turkish breakfast.Try the Sarma Chicken Beyti.Chicken wrapped in lavash bread then cut into pieces and topped with hot tomato sauce with a helping of yogurt.Its cheerful and helpful staff topped with a great menu makes a great recipe which will insure that Zer will be feeding the Green Lanes hungry for years to come.

Probablemente el mejor restaurante turco lo intenté. La comida es increíblemente bueno, las raciones son tan grandes que no podía terminar la mía y se tomó casa y lo disfrutamos incluso el día después! También nos ofrecieron un muy buen postre con té en el servicio final. también fue excelente, todos los camareros son muy amables y agradables.

Así que me fui después de mi TERRIBLE experiencia en un restaurante cercano que no tenía comida (ver otros comentarios) y que estaba hambriento por este punto así que prácticamente todo iba a ser buena jajaja

Fuimos a dar una oportunidad a este nuevo lugar, pero dejó sin comer, lo primero que nos estaban esperando para las edades a reconocerse y cuando la camarera finalmente decidimos nos lo hizo en una forma muy grosera.

Un buen lugar para ir a disfrutar de una comida turca adecuada. Pide una fuente si tienes hambre y baño turco cerveza. Carne fresca y un buen servicio. Me encanta pocos restaurantes turcos en Green Lanes. Este es uno de ellos. Buena relación calidad-precio. Disfrute de su cena! Abierto hasta tarde!

I just came back from Zer with a group of 30 people, and I've been to many Turkish restaurants in green lanes, but Zer is by far the best out of all of them. The food was superb and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was really welcoming and they allowed us to play our own music. They have a private dining area for around 50 people and they look after you well. The food was delicious and the platter feeds 5 people with no problem. The pricing is better compared to nearby Turkish places and overall it cost less than 300 pounds for 30 people,thats including drinks

A lively Green Lanes venue, with delicious food, and lovely staff. It pays to turn up ravenous, as the servings are HUGE.

Excellent all round Great Food Massive portions, The complimentary Salad and Bread is really nice, the bread is made on the premisies.I can safely say that if you visit once you will want to go back again and take some friends with you so they can try the food Well Done Zer

Grand restaurant, on ne se sent pas à l'étroit lorsqu'on vient en famille avec enfants et poussettes. Cuisine fraîche qui rappelle la chaleur du pays. De bonnes salades, de bonnes grillades. Prix très abordables. Accueil chaleureux, personnel très attentif. Des sucreries sont offertes aux enfants. A la fin du repas, on nous fait gouter le thé à la turque et on nous apporte des pâtisseries pour nous les faire découvrir.

Really good food. We got a massive platter for three people and 4 starters and only came to £42 with drinks too! Great value and quality if food even got 3 bags to take home of food as there was so much. There was one really friendly funny waitress the other was soooo rude like we was asking for blood when asking for bill but it didn't ruin it was almost funny lol

Had lunch with my father at Zer restaurant today. The waiter, who realised that we were Greeks came to us and was not polite when he said that Cyprus is divided in two countries. I felt that was not necessary and rather unpleasant. I didn't want to remind him that the whole world (other than Turkey) only recognises one country: the republic of Cyprus. Other that that, the food was average, I will not be returning to this restaurant, as I felt that we were not welcomed.

Have visited several times, and although its a relatively new restaurant always find the quality and the service to be consistently excellent.

Instead of Sunday Roast, we have a Turkish meat platter and to be honest this one might be the best. It's much of a muchness with the restaurants on the lanes so here's three things that put this one in the lead:1. easier to get a seat2. a little cheaper than some of the others3. the meat (especially the cubed lamb and chicken) is a little more tender, and their adana is great.

Always a place to come back! Really good choice is a lahmachun to take away for £1,5. Yes! I said £1,5 and very very good quality . Just go to this place. The food is so good! Really happy to come back again and again

went there with friends on a Sunday evening ( we've already been there so we knew the menu and how the dishes look like),the waiter immediately informed us that because they finished some food they would put more of something else instead.We received our order with even less than half of what we expected!!!!!!It was ridiculous!!A full platter to share for 4-5 people wasn't enough for 2 people either!!But our experience doesn't end here....few days later,because we live close to this restaurant we went there for some take away...first of all they wanted us to pay more than we did before( but when I said that I used to paid less they changed their mind...so you can't trust them at all!!!!)and before leaving one of the guy behind the till asked me :" Don't you like cooking at home???"Well...of course next time instead of leaving my money to you...I LL COOK AT HOME!!!

My first trip to Zer will be my last!!!! As a newly opened restaurant you assumed they wont have shortage of meals!!! And what a great dissapoitment when after 20 minutes of waiting and hit my fork on empty salad plate waitress came back to me and informed me that they dont have king prawns!!!! Its just UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! I REALLY HOPE THIS ONE WILL DISSAPEAR SOON!!!

Great value night had last night in our group of six. First time at Zer as have tried most of the other choices many times but Zer tops the list for us now. Very full restaurant even though it must seat close on 200 but that's the case with most the restaurants along green lanes at 8 pm. Only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Great service throughout the night. We started with a hot and a cold meze as starters to share with usual quality salad and gorgeous hot breads. Should always pace your self at this stage as it is so easy to over indulge in the starters and spoil your appetite for the following course. Main course we shared the huge meat platter which seemed to be favorite with most tables. An additional platter of Isender of however you spell it. All the food really was as good as the best of other experiences we have had in green lanes. Nice unexpected treat to follow was a surprise march up of 6 staff to present our table with a very tasty platter of desserts with 2 candles as they had overheard that it was two of our parties birthday , not sure what they were all singing and clapping but it certainly wasn't happy birthday to you. Lovely gesture , than the 6 Turkish teas to finish off the evening. All that feast , excellent service send food, 3 Effes and a bottle of red wine for 92 pound, cheaper than Istanbul , great restaurant and excellent value for money, gets my no.1 vote for green lanes.

The staff were unfriendly, asking to take back the menu's before we had even ordered. I requested a selection of cold and hot meze and the waiter said it was not possible to arrange, ridiculous! Having ordered some starters we gave back our side plates, ready for our mains, a waiter came over and gave us new side plates only to be told by another member of staff to take them back. Then another waiter came over minutes later and put the plates back down again, very unorganised and unprofessional. When we received our food, the chicken shish was clearly a large. We had not ordered large, they just assumed and expected us to pay for it. Before I started my food, I called a waiter over to explain that I hadn't ordered a large and I did not expect to pay for one. He said I should have made it clear to the waiter (surely that's their job) he agreed I would not pay for the larger portion. The chicken was over cooked and dry.I dine regularly at the Turkish restaurants on Green Lanes and this place does not compete with Selale, Gokyuzu or Devran!

I dined here with my family last night and I can safely say that it was absolutely amazing. We ordered a family platter and it was more than enough for all of us. If anything went wrong, e.g. if cutlery dropped on the floor by accident, the staff would be there immediately to assist. The actual food, the kebabs, were so delicious and the sides that were added to the meal were wonderful. We took a bit of a risk going into a restaurant we didn't know and hadn't been into before, but we were not at all disappointed. The service and food was impeccable-this will be my family's regular restaurant to attend from now on.

Really happy to know there is another amazing turkish restaurant in green lanes! Just go and try! I've been to few of those and this one is just one more to add to my favourite list! Anjiy your meal!!!!

The food was yummy and the staff was so friendly and lovely, being a vegi I don't find many Turkish restaurant with a lot of variety but this place was different!! I fell in love with the Mucver and the freshly baked bread OMG!!! It's amazing!!!! I would definitely recommend this place as it's very reasonably priced, the staff are friendly, the food is awesome!!

This months company monthly lunch came from a new addition to Haringey Green Lanes, Zer Restaurant. They delivered great and tasty food to Kentish Town to feed 90 plus hungry staff. So much food arrived and nothing left over however think I will definitely be going down to Zer restaurant for seconds. Thank you HR for introducing Zer to us!

Great atmosphere, incredible food and amazing service. Also, such good value for money! I had the Lamb Sarma and a mix of Meze, coupled with an icy cold Turkish beer and finished off with dessert and sweet tea. An amazing meal that left me feeling completely satisfied.Well done Zer. Wil definitely return.

i went with a group of friends and we had a great time, the food was yummy and the presentation was outstanding. the waiters were friendly and made sure everything was ok without being too intrusive. the price is pretty much the same you find on green lanes. we ordered the platter that suggest feeds 2-3 people but the amount of food that came with it could feed 4-5 even the main meal potions is big enough for 2 people. i couldn't eat anymorethe decor was simple but pretty, love the lights. very clean.overall i would go again and recommend it to anyone

I've been lucky enough to eat at pretty much all of the Turkish restaurants that pop up and down Green Lanes but the place lays down a marker! Rich in options, generous in portions, great value but most importantly incredibly tasty food. Highlight?? Definitely the complimentary bread baked in-house and smoked over the cooking kebabs which is literally a fest for the senses! For the main I went for the Sarma chicken beyti which sorted me right out!!!

We dine in Haringey weekly and have tried various different restaurants however Zer Restaurant tops the table. Great atmosphere, service and food.

We went to Zer the day after it opened. As with any new restaurant it had a great design and was spotlessly clean, but something you would not always expect with a new establishment is great service and actually being well organised as well as a great atmosphere. So well done to the management.As a group we ordered, Ezme Salad (finely chopped slightly hot salad), Arnavut Cigeri (fried liver in coating), mushrooms (I don't like mushrooms but the rest of the group enjoyed it very much) and cacik (yogurt with cucumbers) Lahmacun (Turkish style pizza). I must admit I promised myself I wouldn't have too much of the starters but could not resist when the complimentary hot bread arrived. All enjoyed very much.I ordered Sarma Beyti (adana kebab wrapped in flat bread with a tomato based yoghurt sauce)for my mains and all I need to say is the plate got sent back without a crumb left on it. Top marks to the chef.I had no room for deserts.. well none of us did to be honest but we were served complimentary baklava (Tuskih sweet pastry with pistachios) and sutlac (Turkish style rice pudding served cold) which was a nice touch and quite nice in taste. As tradition with nearly Turkish restaurants we were served tea to finish of a brilliant evening.For those that have eaten in Green lanes before, you will already know that you get a great value which is the same same at Zer.Thank you again, we will definitely be back.
