Antepliler in Haringey

We had an amazing meal that included a number of wonderful vegan dishes. And the service was excellent!

It's delicious and the prices are average but it matches the taste in Turkey

Antepliler is a visually charming spot with a cozy, inviting atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food and drinks didn’t live up to the aesthetic. We ordered two cappuccinos, a Biscoff cake, and a tiramisu, totaling £24. The cappuccinos (£3.75 each) were poorly made, even when requested extra dry, and the tiramisu was unrecognisable and unpalatable. The staff didn’t even enquire as to why we only had one spoon and avoided any feedback in order to improve. If you’re planning a visit, I’d suggest sticking strictly to the Turkish specialties: the kunefe, baklava, and Turkish tea. Skip the coffee and avoid the other desserts, as they’re simply not up to par. Service was okay but not particularly attentive or helpful. In short, it’s a place for Turkish tea and traditional desserts—not coffee or cakes.

Sırf bu yağda yüzen acayip iğrenç salata için bile -1 yıldız! I only asked for onion and parsley and they sent a disgusting stale salad. Lahmacun did not look like lahmacun, they put a lot of spices in the lentil soup, it did not look like soup. I threw them all away

I ordered food from here and the plastic bag that they put the food in left permanent marks on my wooden table. I'm not able to remove it with anything. I would advise not to order from them!

This restaurant is clearly over-charing their customers, including the Service-Charge without customer's consent and extortionate difference between take-away and eat-in prices. Please allow me to clarify these points; On 2nd November Saturday, three of us went to Antepliler restaurant, 46 Grand Parade, Green Lanes, Harringay, N4 1AG. The restaurant's bill is attached to this email. At the end of the meal, they included £6.50 Service Charge without my consent. I did not think the service was good enough to pay the service charge. I believe service charges added by the restaurant are entirely optional and the customer has the right to refuse it. Furthermore, there is a huge price difference in take-away and eat-in prices. On the day, the eat-in price for three lahmacun was £16.50, take-away price for three lahmacun was £9.00. (Please refer to the bill). Take away chicken wrap is £10, but the same wrap is £17.50 for eat-in. Hard to understand and justify such a large price increase for the same food. I would also like to point out the excessive price the restaurant is charing compared to similar restaurants in the area. In the bill presented, Cop sis is priced as £20.00. Restaurants in the same area charge between £12 to £15 for the same food. Overall, it was a poor experience where we had to pay a large bill that was not worth it. Will not eat in that restaurant again!1!

Massive disappointment!!!!!! I’ve traveled all the way from Manchester to London to have decent Turkish cuisine. 1- We ordered Adana kebab it’s nothing like Adana kebab it’s more like meatballs so dry and tasteless as I’m from Adana if anyone give us that as Adana kebab we will throw it to their face. Looks like chef no clue what is Adana kebab is. 2- kellepaca soup!! That was more like yoghurt soup to me. Nothing like kellepaca 3- ayran!!! Never drank warm ayran entire my life. It was waste of time and money. Never ever again I rather go local takeaway kebab places much better than that ❌❌❌

Always great food, great service and reasonable prices

The only mistake I ever made in my life was going to Antepli's, the bread was stale, the salad was literally wilted and yellow, it was brought to the table so it wouldn't go to waste. We wanted soup for 2 people, we also wanted wings, the price we paid was £50, and I argued with my daughter there because of them. I told my daughter to stand up, my daughter said, "Mom, I'm ashamed, please sit down." And I literally drank the soup so that my daughter wouldn't be upset. I've been to many restaurants, Asians, British and Turks. Of all the places I went to, this was the only place I left with regret and was never satisfied. Of course I won't go there again, you have such crazy prices, at least provide a smart service and pay attention to your salads. I don't recommend it at all..

Today, around 22:00, we went to eat with my wife and children, the salad served was very stale and very little, the bread did not come with the kelle trotter, it came late even though I insisted on it twice, and the prices are extremely high, it was the last time I went there with my family.

Lamb kebab to die for, Also the best Adana kebab in London, not to mention lahmacun . To be honest with you like every dish in this Restaurant

We ate 4 kunefe and asked for 2 teas. They charged 4 pounds for tea. Tea should be free in Turkish restaurants.

Overpriced, undercooked food, bad service, limited options for those with dietary requirements and restrictions. Recommend nearby Gokyzu instead for much better quality and value

The vegan menu section is I'm sure well intentioned - or at least business savvy - but the ingredient implications weren't well understood by the kitchen. We were told one of the vegan pastry items had "just a little" egg. (Note that the same goes for the complimentary bread.) They do have an allergen matrix so ask for that if in doubt. Service was attentive when we checked (albeit with some gluten-related confusion) and what we had was fine but I'd go elsewhere for peace of mind around dietary requirements.

Overpriced and undercooked. Ignored by staff and kept waiting for a long time. Dishes were cold and had to be sent back to kitchen to be heated. No apologies offered. Food was just about edible. AVOID

Pure robbery 7.50 with a coke eat in .14.50.with few chips food dropping wet can of coke 2.50 Bottle of small water 2.50 to eat in they give you the bill shocked.they stand there doing nothing .need to clean after them .tables etc avoid there ..

We ordered lahmacun for our table, only lahmacun came, no vegetable salad or lemon came with it, I told them again and they didn't care at all and that's why it won't happen again.

I went for dinner with my family, it was nice, it's back to its old taste again.

I expected more from their lahmacun—I'd give it a 2 out of 5. Just a heads-up: if you ask for a wrap, they add mixed salad without checking if that's okay with you. Also, I wasted money on the ayran since it had mold on top

I have been this place many times. If you wish to eat authentic baklava, this is the place that you must go. Doner kebab is mouth watering. Lamb shish is delicious. Lahmacun (Turkish pizza) look no other place than Antepliler! Few months ago, I have seen that they introduced lamb liver kebap! I had question mark in my mind, I wanted to try it. Lamb liver?! I can not belive the taste! amazing! I was speechless. I went back again with my girlfriend to eat lamb liver following week ! She did not want to eat first! She had doubt about!when she started to smell of the liver kebap, she said, yeah let's try! She bite and her face changed! She said absolutely delicious' then she had full wrap lamb liver with cola. This is the best Turkish restaurant in London

Very good. I have been a few times with my family and it has always been consistently of a high standard.

Always good food. Epically the chicken donner wrap. Can’t wait to go again !! Staff are all friendly too. I think it is a bit expensive but other than that there are no problems.

I ordered 3 spicy lahmacuns for takeaway. Normally, I would have to wait 15 minutes, but after only 2 minutes, the guy at the counter, thinking he was clever, said my order was ready. I figured they must have had some already prepared, so I took it and left. I just got home and opened it up—no spice at all. Clearly, someone else's order must have been canceled, and they gave it to me. Keep thinking you can fool customers with your non-existent intelligence, bro. With that mindset, you won’t achieve much in life. I’ll never come back again, and I’ll make sure to tell everyone I know about this.

It's not worth it unfortunately, had better from tfc supermarket. Servers had our orders wrong even though all was written down and entailed on their system and the venue was terribly too cold. The air conditioning was on full and I understand that it is a patisserie that needs a certain temperature but that is what display fridges are for. I wouldn't step in here again, friendly but slow service, seen servers just talking amongst each other and ignore orders being called by the 'chefs' Not worth it.

The service was great, small portions on food.

First time as a sit in customer. Loved the dessert and turkish tea. Only negative, is that i was sat at the back near the kitchen and smelt strong cigarette smell every time the back door was open grom the kitchen, which put me off.

Few years ago was really good food, but went recently and the meat was really hard and chewy, and for the next few days when ever I burped the smell of the lamb would come back to my mouth, which was foul, so the meat really messed me up, but the deserts were the best, which is what Antep is known for initially.

The food was ok, but too overpriced for what you get in my opinion.

With over 30 years in the hospitality industry I believe this is the worst place that I’ve been to , the quality is poor the service is poor, and you can’t have a tap water for a little kid ,the toilet are unclean, never again ….

Outstanding place, excellent service and a great vibe. It felt really relaxed and a real mixed group of diners. Every dish was excellent! You can have desserts at any of the offshoots of this place. Great for catching up with friends.

Bad restaurant. Food, staff and prices outrageous. Invent any dishes and call it Turkish food. Look for an other Restaurant

I bought 8 Lahmacun and it’s cost me £24. It was really nice and cheap you guys should go there for Lahmacun.

First time trying this gaff and I was very surprised food was outstanding we got the sharing platter and it was very well cooked an seasoned wasn't happy about being charged £5 for a bottle of saka water considering there £1 in the shops but overall very good experience.

I was really disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The food was simply bad and had absolutely nothing to do with authentic Turkish cuisine. The quality and taste were far below expectations, especially considering the ridiculously high prices. While the staff seemed knowledgeable about their own products, they spoke to the customers in an arrogant and unfriendly manner. There are better options in the area—I'd recommend walking the extra 50 meters to one of the other restaurants. I definitely won't be coming back here.

The food was great. The service was also very good, one of the waiters called Emir took really good care of us. We were very pleased. Thank you.

The worst lahmacun I have ever seen in my life. It would have been better if you spread tomato paste and tomato paste on bread and eat it. The service is a disgrace anyway. I couldn't like it at all.

Food was good but served cold. Staff was rude. Overall it was a bad experience.

The raw meatballs are very bad, the onions and the raw bulgur are hard, it is obvious that they were not kneaded well.

The menu was extremely small and sparse. We told Adana and they only brought a small skewer to Adana. For that money you can eat two shish adana elsewhere. Unfortunately, I think he didn't get his money's worth. If it were my business, I would be ashamed to send such a small amount to my customers.

AVOID Rude manager, staff angry and fighting each other, very expensive for very small Kunafa which came burnt and not cooked inside. Small portion for £10 without the service charge.

Very different Turkish food, we was served by Hayri very helpful. Salad and Hummus was really nice. Grill beef and chicken Doner was tasty. Portion was good size a must visit.

It seemed very expensive to me, but maybe the price is normal, it seemed a little expensive to me and the taste was good.

We paid £71 just for 4 piece of stuff the Kunefe was swimming in sherbet I don’t think we will be going back

Food was splendid, would definitely recommend for authentic Turkish in London, you cannot do better. The shish and beyti are definitely must trys. However, the portions are slightly expensive or overpriced for what you get in other Turkish restaurants.

We came with 4 adults and 5 children, it was a friend's suggestion... the place is in a Turkish neighborhood style place, there were so many Turkish restaurants etc. that I felt like I was in Türküye from little ones. We bought lahmacun, appetizers and doner... Döner was delicious, appetizers were amazing, but lahmacun was legendary, it's a long way away. We suffered to come here but it was worth it in the end 🥰 …. If you go there, definitely try the lahmacun. The atmosphere was nice, but it seemed a little too noisy. We bought baklava from the side shops when we left, and it was delicious too. It's a place you can come to by metro, by the way 😉

Very good food. We have dined there twice now and both times food was good. We especially enjoyed lahmacun and grilled chicken wings and kebabs. Chicken pide was also very nice. Overall, a good experience.

I had a disappointing experience at Antiplier Kunafa & Pastries today. The manager’s behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout our visit. He yelled at the waitstaff repeatedly and treated us disrespectfully. We had a stroller for our child, and despite the waiter’s request to leave it temporarily near the stairs for relocation, the manager rudely intervened, insisting it shouldn’t be there. He hovered around our table as if monitoring us, which made our visit uncomfortable. To top it off, while we were still enjoying our coffee and there were plenty of empty tables, the manager hurriedly asked us to leave, claiming they needed our table. Overall, this experience was unpleasant and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and respectful dining environment.

We were a family vitising this shop to enjoy our time and make the kids happy , however someone seems to be the boss he was very rude with his staff and with customers too , he wasn't happy that we wasn't ready to order , and he wasn't happy that we didn't finish our 42£ order quickly , the staff looks afraid of his i would suggest the authorities to look at him as u have noticed some modern slavery signs . About the food the kunefe was delicious and tasty but a bit pricy , the trilice one of the best i had in my life 5 stars for it , orange juice was told it is fresh but it wasn't , the lady that took our payment she was rude with no smile on the face , i dont know if it was her character or the stress has been put on her by the boss , in general food was good , the service was minus stars , unfortunately we wont coming back to this place. I went to visit today but I didn't happy . I took my cousin she come from Canada I said her this restaurant is the best but I really shocked. Waiters is not good I don't understand why they didn't have a experience

Absolutely delicious. I had liver wrap and it was so tasty. The atmosphere of the Antepliler Ciğer was very authentic. I would strongly recommend the food.

Lahmacun is wet. Kebaps aren’t cooked well. I am from Antep in Turkey but the place doesn’t cook anything tasty that represent Antep cuisine.

I went in for lunch around 1pm on a weekday. The staff were polite and friendly. The menu offered a great selection, and everything arrived promptly. The food was lovely, and I will definitely revisit. Afterward, I crossed the road to their dessert store and enjoyed a freshly baked baklava. You can also order desserts from the main restaurant, as they are freshly made at the bakery, but I just wanted a change of scenery.

I really want to try this special Turkish tea and kunefe with ice cream. Thank you so much to give us this opportunity to try this special dish.🥰

Beautiful desert spot which is opposite the Anteplier restaurant. The San Sebastian cheesecake was absolutely divine. The kunafe was spot on. Finished off with a lovely cup of Turkish tea which went perfectly. Friendly service with a smile.

I can’t believe this horror they call a birthday cake. I paid £35 for this. I asked for a chocolate birthday cake and got the exact opposite. The handwriting is absolutely dreadful. They only added strawberries after I complained because they said they can’t do anything about it? Why am I paying £35 for a chocolate birthday cake for my 4 year old neice just to get a PLAIN VANILLA CAKE with a few measly fruits. never ordering from here again. Neither should you. If I could give 0 stars I would. So disappointed.

Some local friends invited us there, and we had a wonderful Eastern dinner! The cooking, ingredients, and hospitality of the staff were great.

The prices for a soup is ridiculous and the soup is so little for the price. The bread was not fresh and soup salad is just olives and pepper. Soup came in kunefe(thin Turkish desert) plate Çorba künefe tabağında geldi

Recently, it has deteriorated in terms of taste and customer behaviour. The person named Yasar standing at the cash register was the rudest person I have ever seen in the world. I will not go in any way after this.

As a family, we went to a restaurant from Haringey Antep to eat lahmacun, but unfortunately I didn't find it as I expected, they put cooked and crispy lahmacun at the top, they also heated the bottom ones and put it in the bottom, not even the dough was cooked, it's a shame, we really couldn't eat a good lahmacun.

Everything was great. The employees are friendly, sincere and sincere. The desserts are extremely delicious and fresh. Thank you very much to the entire team for your interest🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🧿

If you look at the titles on the top, you can see a lot of customers were complaining about manager’s rudeness. Kunefe and sweets were below average.

I first visited the restaurant in 2015 with a Greek person from Thrace who speaks Turkish. I have visited so many times and it is by far my favourite restaurant in London. Quantity is great and quality too. Service is always very good, especially compared to other Turkish restaurants in London. The manager is exceptional. It is my birthday in a week and I am going to visit again for sure. Do not get confused with the reviews from the smaller takeaway shops. The restaurant is amazing.

My father and I went to Künefe, the customers were very busy. The first time they brought it cold, then they changed it and brought it very hot. I am satisfied.

Hands down the best kebab experience of my life.
