Zephyr Burgers in Plymouth

An outstanding little venue with brilliant service and great food. The standard of food is top notch and the selection makes it really challenging to decide what to have. It won't be long until I'm back.

This was one of the best burgers I’ve eaten and THE best burger place in Plymouth. Which I suppose it’s not surprising giving this is exactly what this place is known for. My friends and I absolutely loved it! Highly highly recommend! P.s. their homemade pickles are to die for.

Hands down the best burger in town ! 10/10 - lets start with the bun , firm holds the burger well , the beef patty awesome aged Devon beef and Cooked to perfection ,the great thing about this place is you can order it and have it home all the major delivery companies deliver and it’s just as great ! Great burger amazing taste ! Not sure why some of the people reviewing are so negative they need to get a life jealously will only get you so far !! Amazing 🤩

45 minutes wait on a half full restaurant last Friday. I think they’ve taken their eye off the ball now they have a new restaurant up the road. The old guy serving us was useless. Obviously never been a waiter before, He stuck the paying machine reader right in my face. I was two minutes away from walking out and going to Five Guys.

Tasty. Got a takeaway from here in August 2024 as a couple. Burger was tasty and fresh, cheesey chips was really good as well. Highly recommended.

Very nice staff and food was really good but very steep. 13.50 for a very small double cheeseburger and 7 pound a pint is criminal

Absolutely terrible service and terrible attitude I’m really shocked, I’ve eaten in many restaurants all over Plymouth and I can honestly say the staff at this place hove no interest in being helpful and we’re also extremely rude be aware there’s no love here at all :((

Booked a table for 10 people for my grandsons 14 th birthday for 4.30 got there 4.20 door was open but got told we can’t go in as don’t open till 4.30 was freezing outside and he was sat inside with his feet up shocking behaviour when we did get in we were shown a table which l can only describe as being in a cubicle table was e 4& half feet long 3 of us couldn’t sit down there attitude was we can but a stool on the end that’s all we can do and we had two small children with us not all adults there’s no way 10 People could sit there as we were getting no help from them we had to leave got my grandsons cake from behind walking down the road turned left and went into Caffeine club first time we have been there we all had different and all of it was outstanding all staff were lovely and they did our cake and great prices and burgers so thanks your rudeness did us a massive favour caffeine club is now our go to place l don’t recommend your place at all

Never been keen to order a delivery because always felt that the ultimate Zephyr experience comes from the burger leaving the griddle straight on a plate at your table and that a home delivery will always be that less moist and cooler condition. But last night we were hungry, had made no plans and the three of us were yearning. The delivery was quicker than expected, well signposted and the burgers and even the fries were all in good nick. Good hearty taste and value. Very pleasantly surprised.

The best burgers, delicious coleslaw, and mac n cheese. Love the atmosphere and the team here. Really quirky place and will definitely keep returning.

After watching the burger critique on YouTube rave about these burgers we decided to give it a try. The burgers did not disappoint-really fantastic. We had Californias-meat and veggie and MCB. Only reason we haven’t given 5 stars was because they didn’t have any desserts available but they were listed on menu and specials board and we kept our coats on as we were cold.

Just perfect burgers. Travelled far and wide and always hunt out a good burger. Seen the hype and wasn’t disappointed. One of the best burgers I’ve eaten. Perfect ingredients, well cooked and presented with good front of house of team and service. Californian with added bacon was spot on. Fantastic smashed burgers built to perfection. The BBQ rub on the tater tots is a work of art - even if you don’t want them buy them, you won’t regret it. Can’t wait to come back. Trust me, it won’t be long !! Anything I would change? Add root beer to the menu, would then be a perfect American burger experience 👍🏻

Booked table. Taken to table by server A and gave us menus. Server B took drinks order. Server C asked if ready to order which we weren’t. Server D took our order. Asked for a chicken burger but then told us they had no chicken. They had plenty of opportunity to tell us no chicken or only x chicken left. So HALF the menu wiped out. We were two people one of whom does not eat beef. What made me angry was that one of the servers started to argue with us when we politely pointed out that they should have told us when we arrived. Given this lack of customer empathy we left. Daughter tells me they have run out of chicken and pork bites before. Should not be hard to ensure there is enough chicken. Poor. Burgers did look good so don’t rule them out but customer service, on this occasion, was poor.

I've driven past here on a number of occasions but tonight called in...the place was busy but I was offered a seat at the bar and had a pint of Brooklyn lager and a Chilli cheeseburger with loaded fries. It has been a long time since I had a burger this good...great tasting, beautifully presented and great value!

Close to main shopping centre/university, zephyr was recommended by work colleagues and did not disappoint. High quality amazing tasting burgers. Out server, Rufus, gave us excellent advice on the choices we made, recommending the California and bacon cheese burger. Staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere was great. Pity the outside seating is on the main road, this would be even better in a quieter spot.

Zephyr burger is my number one place to go. Either eating in or out. Absolutely banging burgers & reasonably priced 👌👌

Have been here a few times. The fries were a bit on the old side but ok. The burger meat seemed to be lacking in quality and taste compared to my visit quite some time ago . Burger sauce seems to have a Heinz salad cream flavour element now

And that’s because it was delicious beef and not overly big bread, right amount of onions, bacon and sauces. The proportions and portions were perfect for me. Particularly enjoyed the slaw which wasn’t drowning in salad cream and the fries were great too. We drank Rattler cider which is brewed locally and highly recommend. Good service.

Best burger in Plymouth! I had the double patty chilli with cheese fries. Amazing.these are proper smash burgers. You won’t be disappointed.

Hands down the best burger in Plymouth. Not even close. Smash burgers done right. Only slight downside is they only do Deliveroo delivery and Deliveroo often delivers cold food.

Came down about seven on a Wednesday just before a hectic rush. Bit of space which quickly filled but we had stools at the bar. One chicken, one double chilli and more house red than was prudent but all was hearty and tasty, perfect for a spontaneous drop in supper. Quick attentive service and a great ambience. Even had a few words with Oz and Mario.
