Wish I'd read these reviews before going with my son for a long overdue catch up. Shocking service. Absolutely shocking. Lovely smiling waitresses giving the impression nothing was too much trouble. It clearly was far too much trouble. It's as if immediately you request something the delete button activates in the waiting staff. We ordered the following: tap water, egg mayonnaise sandwich, chicken sandwich and fries. Shouldn't be beyond most cafes to get sorted. After 20 mins no water which meant I had to go up ask for it again - not withstanding it as it was a very very warm day (despite being October!) and we were outside. After 30 minutes no lunch, asked where it was. Finally rocked up - and to my horror they toasted my bread for my egg mayo sandwich. Why? I wasn't asked if I wanted it toasted. OH - and no choice of brown or white bread. Chips were nice. Sandwich OK. My son liked his sandwich. Only one loo which wasn't particularly pleasant. Really don't bother. There are plenty of other options nearby. Wish we'd gone with the Caribbean option we looked at first.

Ordered food and drinks. Drinks came and were nice. Waited over an hour for breakfast food order. Ended up leaving after 1.30 hours and getting a refund.

Very Slow service then one meal didn’t arrive before others had been finished. We had to ask it to be refunded. Disappointed.

I found this place last year. The Breakfast was beautiful and im looking forward to coming here again when the air show is on.

Waited 45 minutes for a full English breakfast and some pancakes. Pancakes at nearly £10.00 looked like the ones you get in a pack for 99p, which came with chocolate sauce over them, which I asked not to have, but also came with a liquid side sauce of a hot chocolate drink, which luckily I never poured over. We asked for some sour dough toast which we were told we couldn’t have, yet the full English came with some, leaving someone in our party not ordering. We were not asked if everything was ok with the food, so just got the bill and left, but we’re left feeling overcharged for a poor experience.

The place is cool but we went there for brunch and the service was not good. The lady must had been in a bad day as she shouted to the other employees and made a scene. The food was good, hopefully the service gets better.

An lovely eclectic vibe with soft jazz music strumming in the background adds to the ambiance of the place. Came in for a vegan breakfast which came quickly and very enjoyable so tasty with a coffee based Chai latte with oat milk. Staff so friendly definitely recommend this place and visit again

Very good experience here. Lovely coffee, home made breakfasts and lunches, healthy salads - good portions and value for money. Leaving very happy and satisfied.

Went to this place on a recommendation only to find the previous owner had sold on. They didn’t have half of what was on the limited menu so had to settle for something not of choice. Took 50 mins from ordering and paying at till to meal on table and that was because I said we can’t wait any longer.

Great looking place , vibrant and really enjoyed the food, its let down by their service unfortunately. Super long wait in food , coffees only arrived with food which surely could have come earlier while you waited for food. Very quick to accept your money and take orders, not so attentive with the service side of care to customers. Shame really because the food and decor is good.

Visited here first time and had the English Breakfast, no bacon served. The food was ok but coffee was not so good, not sure if it was my taste but not great. The venue in Bournemouth high street is popular with locals

Liked this place so much the last time we went looking for it They've moved - but same faces and same great service. 2 off yummy Brunches, and coffee, with a naughty vegan cake. Like the offering here, the service and fair pricing. We'll be back

While in Bournemouth we were looking for a nice place to have breakfast. We pooped in Zaza Kitchen and their friendly staff made us stay. Great decision! Their menu is such a generous one, able to satisfied everyone’s taste. We had Basic, a kind of an English breakfast, but with no bacon. The sausages, both meat and vegetarian were great! Kids loved their smoothies and I very much enjoyed my coffee. We had to came back later for dinner. We had burgers with fries, fresh salads and vegetarian toasties, I mean what else can you wish for?! Plus we got the chance to be served personally by their chef. Their staff really made the difference. They made you feel looked after, offered treats to kids, so spoiled over all! Thank you Zaza kitchen team! Highly recommended!!

I often come here to get a coffee and breakfast on a Friday and I must state the service and quality of the coffee and food have never let me down. The food is elegantly presented. If you are drinking in, the coffee comes with a tea spoon, which sounds unimpressive but I must admit in most other restaurants/coffee places this is not the case. I've recently been drinking the protein ball from here and that too states good. Do not get me started with the Macrons, they are on a totally different level to those I'd tasted before. Price wise, I find Zaza to be cheaper than most other restaurant/coffee shops in Bournemouth.

Visited on a day visit to Bournemouth for lunch our first time in the cafe. Had wings, parmesan fries, avocado sandwich with hummous. Everything was excellent and couldn't be faulted, amazing value for money too. Shall definitely return on our next day trip to Bournemouth.

Well presented food though slightly disappointing to get one egg with guacamole and eggs. Great if you want a light breakfast. The coffee was very well made.

I visited today with my mum and brother, food was really tasty an reasonably priced. Coffee and tea good quality, and service was fantastic! Staff member was really friendly and accommodating, even gave us free cakes as they were going out of date same day.

Went with some friends for our first visit. We tried the breakfast and were pleasantly surprised that the sausages were beef and NOT pork. I think they may have even been halal. We also had a delicious lunch recently. Will definitely make this our local.
