Very tasty food , people always friendly and say hi even if they don't know you. The owner always help me to choose new dishes as I'm white woman and don't do much spiciness. Going there for years and will keep on going.

I had a great food and customer service was amazing.

Very delicious sandwiches and coffees, would highly recommend if you passing by for a quick bite.

The only good thing about this place is the food, other than that please dont come here. Customers, owner and waitress are super rude. Wouldn't recommend it for my enemies.

Best service with marvelous food

It was my friend's first experience of Ethiopian food and only my 3rd. We were a bit nervous of how to order but we needn't have worried, its all good! and the team will gladly make some suggestions. The decor at Zara is simple but the welcome is friendly and the food, outstanding. The warm and helpful staff encouraged us to choose a mix of meat and vegetable dishes. These were heaped onto the enjera. You could go vegetarian or vegan if you choose. The vegetable dishes were fresh and tasty, using a range of lentils, pulses and fresh vegetables. Some dishes are spicy; you can ask your server to make the food more, or less hot. The range of spices reflects the geography of a country that had traded with african nations and the Arab and Indian worlds. In short, delicious! The slightly spongy, wonderfully absorbent enjera doubles as a great soak up for the juices ( eat the bit in the middle at the end) and eating implement. You can ask for a knife fork if you prefer, as we saw one man do to. We tucked in with our fingers. We will be back to taste more on the extensive menu, washed down with a cold Ethiopian beer!

Always trust a recommendation and this one came from a guy closing his shop in three sisters road. Just round the corner in Hornsey road is Zara cafe and the food is divine. Don't expect knives and forks and be prepared to eat communally but what a delight. Served on a huge pancake made from rice flour, we rolled up other pancakes to scoop spicy lamb delicious lentils beautifully cooked vegetable dishes and Dahl. Sensitively spiced to our taste this was a wonderful experience for a hot night. Don't expect posh surroundings, but do look forward to some amazing food.

エチオピア料理を初体験。 メニューはあるけど何が何だか 分からないので、店員のお薦めを頼んだ。 発酵させた酸味がある生 地で作ったクレープに、 スパイシーなカレーのようなものを巻いて食べる 料理だった。 店内は身なりの良いアフリカ系の人たちで溢れ、 この店が地元の人に愛されているのが良く分かる。 日本では触れることのできない異文化に 触れてみたい方には是非お薦めする。

Just had one of the best Benedicks royale at the ZARA CAFE AT NW6 Very clean and polite staff managed to get a table out side and let the world go by while having my food and a nice latte coffee to wash it down deff worth a visit if inn the Area 9/10 yo

Decided to try this cafe on our short break in London, returned for the next 3 days, food was excellent, service very good and very good value for money would recommend this cafe if you want to try ethiopian traditional food.
