Zaika's in Wakefield

Absolutely dreadful ordered about 22:40 for delivery estimated time was 23:30-23:50 and went past that time with still No delivery. Ordered through Uber eats and then when I ask for help through it says no eligible for a refund which is a joke 20 pound and it never turned up and can’t even get the money back

Really sorry to write this review, but ordered a take away tonight on a recommendation. It was awful, it ended up in the bin. It’s a shame as it’s a new Indian opened up in Eastwood, but we will continue ordering with Lime’s from now on.

Factory produced patties of poop. stodgy and tasted artificial, I shan't be going there again. If you want to pay by contactless means there is a surcharge.

They sent us the food, lots of stuff missing, the curry was not tasty at all, start items were okay but would not recommend as it was very disappointing.

We ordered 2 kebabs at 18:06 last Sunday: delivery confirmed to 18:50 which was long waiting time anyway, as we were going to an event at 19:30. The distance between Zaikas and my home is up to 5 min drive so not bad. 18:47 - I got text message saying that my order is on its way! For the next 20 minutes nobody's turned up - very unfair. 19:07 - still not delivered, I was very disappointed so I called restaurant to cancel my order. Then, I've been told that driver will leave now and my meal may be delivered in 5 minutes!?? Much too late :( Someone recommended the Zaikas' food to me but it was the worst customer/delivery service I've ever had! That's a shame, I don't recommend.

Tried the Asian style chicken masala for a change...one of the best curries I’ve had! Family had a variety of chicken kebab pittas as usual and they were as good as always..Friday isn’t Friday without a Zaikas’s..!

I tried to order some food with a group of my friends at a party and they replied very rudely, hung up on us and blocked the number. We tried on several of our phones and the same thing happened each time. We did not do anything tp upset them but they replied in a very bad manner. We did not appreciate the tone the guy took when speaking to us. We decided in the end it was not worth ordering from there if they were not going to be nice to us.

Lamb I believe was mixed with a resemblance to dog food. Uncooked rice in parts. Processed garlic bread rock solid. Yogurt sauce was OFF. Onion Bargee NOT fresh.

You can buy pizza here for very reasonable prices. Also a good biryani and other curries are to be had. Seems to be a 'male space' where lone females are not welcomed by other patrons. I eat their food but do not visit the premises, I send the old man instead.

This is my go to place for food. It is always delicious 😋, the pizzas has plenty of toppings and very tasty, there are a few other take aways near it but I never use them,I have tried then but Zaikas is definitely the best. Highly recommend trying their food 🍴.😃

I came here with 4 others approximately 11pm after finishing a project. There was other takeaways in close proximity but we choose this one. The takeaway is generally clean and modern. We ordered a set meal along with an extra dish. The food took around 20 minutes and we quietly ate it within the takeaway. The curries ordered were ok: not fantastic nor bad, eaten better. All in all, i particularly have no qualms on coming here again.
