It's definitely one of the better all-you-can-eat buffets, but the food can be very hit-and-miss. As you would expect from any buffet restaurant, it's packed with people and very busy. When you sit down, they will bring you your cutlery. Despite asking three times, nobody came around. After waiting around for 15 minutes, they eventually brought it to us. One of the fork was dirty so they don't seem to check anything.... What I found odd was that they expect you to reuse the same cutlery unless you go up to them and get new pieces. Before we sat down, the table was dirty, so we had to ask them to clean it. A good place for a quick bite, nothing more than that.

There are not a lot of choices for adults.

Absolutely amazing food. There are so many dishes here. Great value for money, especially at lunchtime (mon-thurs). You get a 1:45 hour time slot, more than enough time to try the food you want. They have different cuisines and with so much choice it's a great deal. The service here is helpful but can be a bit delayed, especially at peak times when there are loads of people at the restaurant. The decor is stylish and blends in well with each other, and the atmosphere is great, but when it's packed, it's hard to move around. We loved the food we had. They even have a chocolate fountain, which came as a nice surprise. Will definitely be back here. It's one of the best buffets we've been to.

It was a Saturday and it was getting busy we had really good food and the guys were great the only thing that let it down for us was we were right by the window and it was boiling, the blinds couldn't come down any more, which in the end we had had a plate of food and left as it was just to hot.

Amazing experience! Have never been before and was a little daunted when our group walked in - so many people, sights and smells! Had a phenomenal waitress called Richa who we would recommend requesting being sat on her tables; she was so polite, efficient and had our table spotless every time she walked passed which felt like every 5 mins! Food was excellent for the price and amount all over - best risotto I've had in a long while and it was made right before my eyes! Love this place, can't wait to go again!

This place is a joke they charge for newborn. Baby's bristol have had to put up with this rat infestation of a place for a long time. I highly suspect the idea was stolenfrom a student of business studies open University in Kent. It's also clear that some of the workers are Illegal. Now they charge for new born Baby's. Time for zaza bazaar to leave bristol. BBC please do not iusse these people another lease.

Surprisingly great quality food with a great amount of choice. A really cool and unique place which is perfect for families or date night. Some things were cold unfortunately when they shouldn’t have been, and a Saturday night is absolutely HEAVING with pushy kids so just be weary of that. Also the atmosphere is a little overwhelming if you’re noise-sensitive.

Really cool place we were recommended to go here and were definitely not disappointed! The food was lovely however some dishes were cold and that was disappointing as the flavour was there. Really good choice of food and cool spot for a bit of a change of dining experience. Felt like I was away on holiday, I loved it. However the atmosphere was a little bit chaotic with the amount of kids that were there. Apart from that it was amazing

I think Za Za's is great, plentiful food, great variety and if you are a little patient or time your visit correctly, some superb cooked food whilst you wait. Only comment is that drinks from the bare are expensive

I was very surprised by the quality of food at Za Za Bazaar. I didnt have high hopes when we went for a works do however, the food was very tasty, good vegetarian options were on offer. I must admit I only had Indian and Japanese but the whole crew enjoyed what they had. It was extremely busy and some parts of the dining area were not cleared very fast. I would recommend when you need to suit many tastes.

What a terrible experience ! Worse place by far that I have ever been for food and that saying something ! Decided to go there with the missus and granddaughter as we were staying near to catch a flight the next morning and thought it would be nice for my granddaughter who’s 10…. BIG MISTAKE ! Like a cattle market in there…. Staff were terrible they showed us to our seat and that was it they vanished, no explanation as to where you get drinks, plates, cutlery or where you put them once you’ve finished which ever course… We all tried different types of food and there wast one single dish that any of us thought was good enough to eat, the burgers, chicken wings and the ribs were undercooked, curries were swimming in oil, rice was either hard or like rice pudding, fish was hard and dry, pizza were like sliced frisbees, chips had more eyes than the people in the place, noodles were slimy and over cooked and the chicken nuggets were cold and hard. The onion ring were ok and some type of sponge cake that my granddaughter had was decent… We left hungrier than when we went in and called to McDonald’s…

Went at lunch time on a Saturday. That was my first mistake. Food was good crazy busy so service was good considering.

Waiter was lovely. They would not accept my UniDays ID for a student discount…this is a policy on the website but most establishments hardly check or will accept UniDays without question. The manager spoke to me after I requested it and it felt very robotic and he repeated the same sentence to me no matter how nicely I asked for an explanation or to appeal thru decision. As a student money is tight and ZaZa offers this discount as a standard so why leave a bitter end to an okay tasting meal? Not happy :)(

A good variety of cuisine from across the world, Sticky toffee pudding was amazing!!! Some of the staff were not interested and seemed a bit rude.

Lovely as always with lots of options. Can get crazy busy but never a shortage of food so no complaints. A little some or alot of something for everyone!

Great bar with plenty of outdoor space

Actually, really good. I was pleasantly surprised tbh. HUGE choice of dishes, all you can eat in 1hr 45mins. The place is ABSOLUTELY PACKED tho so it does get abit chaotic 😂😂😂. £39 for 2 adults and a 7 Yr old. Cannot fault it. Defo be goin back and would recommend a visit if you're in Bristol.

I did absolutely love this place, it was very nice to have such a big selection of food! (I'm an incredibly picky person so this much food that I actually like is a rarity.) I went with my partner for our anniversary and we were left standing around our table for 7 minutes whilst they cleaned around us, which wasn't very nice. we did show up at a busy time though so I cant be too surprised! I will say that as much as I enjoyed it, I maybe wouldn't recommended it for the first few dates, as you and the other person will have to go up and get your food at separate times! not much time to actually talk to one another :P

Price is OK but really need some better control of how things work. Kids should not be allowed to go to serving areas alone. Some higher standard needed to make this place a really good place to eat. Was OK for a one off visit. Food was OK some things better than other. Service a little poor in some areas just really needs more class and standards.

This is probably the best buffet restaurant we have ever been to. A huge range of food and most of it is very good. The carribean goat curry alone is worth 10 stars! The indian curries are a bit watery and most of them vegetarian and tend to be a bit spicier than you would get from a takeaway. A good choice of pizzas, burgers, Hotdogs nuggets etc and the fish and chips are a fav with the kids ..as is the ice cream machine and pudding selection. The only real negatives about ZaaZaa's are that they either never come and clear your plates, or they are trying to clear them when you're still eating from them! Which gets annoying. The music is really loud which can be a bit overwhelming in such a busy space, especially with kids who already find that challenging. And charging extra on Fri/Sat/Sun when the menu offered is the same seems a bit outrageous. Overall though, a great place for a meal or 6 🤣

Dreadful experience, we were sat down at our table that was still full of dirty plates an gash, we weren’t given any knives and forks had to eat with our hands, finally 40 minutes later someone offered to get us drinks. Waiting on every stand for food as nothing was cooked on time like being in a theme park waiting 3 hours to get on a ride!!! Had to hunt down a trolley to get plates as there were none available on the shelf’s Just felt like a constant battle from start to finish I certainly won’t be going again.

Upon entry there are two desks pre booked and walk in, We had a small child in a pram and the lift was not working. So had to carry the buggy and bits up the stairs no help was offered. We got seated promptly and told where to get our refillable drinks from and the tables had a map of what food was at what stations. The food overall is what you would expect for £16 all you could eat but bits were cooked fresh and were really tasty. The desert station was by far the best part for all of us and the small lemon meringue pies was great. As you would expect it was very busy and quiet noisy but to be expected. Overall a good experience and plenty of choice, worth going if you're in town and on a budget.

Overall an awful experience, it’s like Primark but for food is the best way I can explain it. It was chaos in there. The food was mediocre at best, everything was just ok nothing that I really enjoyed. I will say that the staff were very good and trying their best in a very busy environment. Personally not for us, but for the money some may find it good value!

Amazing view! But j came here on my birthday today, and many staff members came up to us and said we have to pay now? The last time we were here,it was paid before u left. And they forced my cousin to pay while she had food in her mouth. DISGUSTING!

My all time favourite thing is the rice pudding but was very disappointed when I asked for a bowl & was given this small paper cup,I'm a fully grown adult not an infant

There food was amazing, they have varieties and kids friendly meals too. Can't remember clearly what age but one of the kids was allowed to go free. The food was tasty and the environment conducive for all. Lovely staff too

I traveled from Gloucester to Bristol just to eat here. At £13.99, it's worth it! It's a great place to visit on weekdays! I met some Filipino workers, and they were really nice.

Just had the best time here. The new cocktail "Rise up "was amazing . Such a fantastic range of food , deserts , and drinks, and they consistently replenish and keep tidy. The lift was out of service ,so they took my friend in service lift to our table. Went to the bar after, got busy with people as got later Saturday night but had great atmosphere and the live band were brilliant. Must commend the bar staff, got served quickly despite it being so crowded.Definitely recommend 👌

We went here more than a year ago and was quite happy with the variety of food and the price per person. So much even for children to choose from. We are planning to go there next month too.

So many food stations to choose from and food cooked fresh on them. From bugers and cottage pie to sushi, Asian and pasta. Lovely food and great staff.

Bar zaza is great , customer service 10/10 especially Luc , so friendly and really great drinks

The place is worn out and tired, the tables and chairs are damaged and taped up, the cutlery was dirty and the first plate I picked up had dry food stuck to it. The glasses and jugs are worn heavily and stained. Everything needs firing into a big skip and renewing! What the hell is with the massive display tubes of sweets smarties and marshmallows decaying and mouldy, been there 10 years minimum all faded and rank looking! Ffs it’s gross! The Indian food area was notably dirty on the floor and prep area. The back of the toilet door was peeling off. The tables are way too close together so when seated at table 111, I got penned in once the area got busy I physically couldn’t leave my area due to there being no free space at all between diners. The food is the cheapest possible ingredients but somehow the “chefs” make it taste good and individual. A very disappointing visit where heavy investment is required now to bring the place up to date. I wouldn’t return again. Service and staff were notably good and deserve praise. They were excellent, but how they move around between tight tables is a mystery to me!

Food was better than most chain-restaurant all you can eat buffets, but was fairly disgusted by the giant marshmallow and candy tube displays that were mouldy 🤢🤢🤢

First time and enjoyed. Food is prepped in bulk, but is reasonable considering. Plenty of variety and we'll run. Certainly going back. Cheapest during the week for lunch, most expensive on Sundays.

Visited today with a friend for the first time & we really enjoyed it! It definitely has a street food vibe & there's a lot going on which is unsurprising for the size of the venue and the number of diners. Food was absolutely delicious and well worth it - looking forward to returning & all staff were very helpful especially our server.

Went there today, very nice buffet with loads of choices (Italian, Mexican, British food etc.) In my opinion the desert choice was a bit small but still very good ! The price is great and the view is nice !

Gluttony at its finest. A place to pig out so much you feel bad for taking advantage. The quality of the food is EXCELLENT for £19.99. An experience to be shared with friends and family. Top tip, try to avoid making the same puns about expanding waistlines, trousers, belts

Ate here a few Sundays ago for lunch with family. Chinese was the absolute best, hot, fresh and plenty of tasty choices. Indian was nice but not a varied choice of dishes and naan breads were few and far between. Pizza station was good, hot and fresh. Pudding selection was good but looked better than actually tasted. We went for unlimited drinks which was good value for money. Our table was cleared multiple times which was good but we felt rushed towards the end. It's always very busy but the area is large enough to accommodate this and not feel crammed.

This is in Bristol and a very clean place I am not a massive fans of buffet but here there seems to be a order and people seem to follow the cleanliness etiquette even though I saw some put their hands in picking some food which put me off The price during lunch is 13.99 per person and drinks are extra and not a bad price I just had the indian food did fancy the dosa but the man said it is only available in the evening Oh well Anyhue I can recommend this but not a place I would hurry back The staff are lovely and really attentive so that is a massive benefit

The place is very nice but what I don't like the times I've been there is that in the risotto area where they prepare two girls who when you ask for something they are always speaking in their language and laughing at the people who are serving you. If you ask them to change something, the first thing they do is put on a disgusted face and start complaining in their language and when you ask them what they say they don't answer you. It hasn't been just once, it has been several times. It's always with the same girls. When there's a guy, the service is great.

One of my favorite restaurants in Bristol. A large restaurant with very good food, only sushi I will never praise because there is always a lack of good sushi rolls with good fish. Usually small rolls with vegetables. Apart from this, you can eat well and tasty, drink a good drink and relax in a pleasant atmosphere. Oh, I must admit, very good Indian food👌

We we're kept waiting for our drinks for nearly 25 minutes, had to ask a different server and got the glasses right away It took 10 minutes to get our bill and we had to ask 3 different servers, if the variety of food was as good as it is we wouldn't be going back ever again

Had a great meal yesterday lunch with the kids. Very busy in half term! Recommend booking if you know what time you want to eat. We had a short wait and chilled out in the pub bit downstairs where we had a nice mocktail. The food was good, loads of choices, lovely service and so good for the kids to experiment with new foods. They particularly enjoyed where you assemble the ingredients yourself and the chef cooks it for you in the wok. And of course the self serve ice cream and the chocolate fountain! 🍦 Half price for kids up to 11 years old but after that full price.

What food there was is ok but not much selection most places had lots of empty places where food options should have been customer service was awful asked for drinks and didn’t show up so had to ask again then wouldn’t accept valid form of student id WOULD NOT GO AGAIN

Good quality buffet. Service is recommendable. A friend had recommended it long ago, so thought of giving it a try. Didn't dissappoint at all.

Horrible food. I had good experience first time but the food was so bad i almost got sick while eating it. More than half of it was undercooked and few items were missing. Overall won’t be coming back again

Visited on Tuesday 11th February and had a lovely experience. Lots of options to choose from and great variety. We had two servers on our area, Gitma & Lulu, who are an absolutely asset to the team at Za Za. They went over and beyond to ensure we had the most enjoyable experience. I had even put in the notes that it was my partners birthday and after we had finished eating our mains they made up a desert plate with a cake in the middle with a candle in and came and sung happy birthday to my partner. Second time I have visited now and absolutely loved it. Thank you

Food was ok for this type of restaurant, service was good once sat at table, I prefer cosmos food and atmosphere. I think zaza needs to put signs outside explaining which queue is which so new customers understand what is going on as security staff do not explain well with no manners, almost didn't even go inside

Not the best! Staff weren't attentive. We went there for drinks only, and the experience was underwhelming. The music was so loud until the point we couldn't hold a conversation.

Made a reservation for 4 people. Turned up to be told my son who is 11 is half price, great I thought. Got seated, the dining chairs all had rips in them and the area was crowded but I kind of expected that and overlooked it. We were seated for 10 minutes and no one came to take our drinks order whilst I watched other families from a similar background as the servers being served straight away. I approached a server and asked if we could order drinks, was told they would be over soon which they were. Food was average, again expected in a buffet restaurant, think 2* all inclusive. Extremely busy queued to get to some of the food areas. You then had to dodge people with your full plate to get back to your table. On paying I was given the bill for 4 adults, I questioned this as the lady at reception said my son was half price. I was by the server it is up to 11, I told him he is 11 and he said he was full price. I checked the website once home and it says children 5-11 half price? So apparently 11 and 1 day wouldn’t count even though he is 11! I bit dodgy really because it should say 5-10 years so which is it? Feeling a bit scammed. Service was generally poor and quite abrupt. Kids loved it but not really some where I would hurry back to and I do usually enjoy buffet restaurants.

This is an all you can eat buffet style food. Huge room with different food stations from Indian, burgers, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, American ribs, chicken, salad bar, pasta desserts and more.

Good place bit pricey especially evenings weekends. Seating could be organised better put right by till and other tables so people walking through us constantly having to move in out table to let people by felt in way. Also everything looks tired and poor now compaired to when first open the tubes of marsh mellows and jelly beans look unkept when before that was the big wow factor as soon walked in was like entering the chocolate factory . The chairs looked torn.

Hello!, I recently came here as it was my 🎂 birthday. I really enjoyed everything about it, especially the drink fountain station and the Chinese section. The desserts were very phenomenal for size portions, although I thought some sections could've been better ex. Indian. Don't go to the Indian section it is absolutely disgusting. I rated it a 4/10.

I went there with a few families for Sunday lunch. There are over 10 of us. We don’t prebook and were able to walk in with minimal wait time. You have 1 hour 45 minutes to eat which is plenty of time. I went there years ago before covid. The variety of food has significantly reduced. There used to be dim sum in the Chinese section, more varieties of sushi and live cooking of king prawns and beef etc which are no longer there. Food is very average. After I had my first plate, I already struggle to find things I like to eat. You can easily find things to fill you up, but I’m not interested to fill myself with carbs and junk. The ice cream is also cheap and typical 99p type of cone ice cream for kids. All in all, disappointing food and it’s not worth visiting again.

Visited here on Saturday before a show and both of us threw up and had stomaches within 10 mins of leaving this place. We ended up missing our show because of it. A lot of the food was undercooked and lacked flavour, all mass cheaply produced to get you in and out the door as quick as possible. The sheer amount of people in they let in to dine at one time, is too much. They can’t sanitise the utensils and eating areas quick enough. Have made a complaint and have not had any acknowledgment.

Not really worth the price the food is strongly mediocre, its very loud and not exactly the most pleasant place to be. Theres better options but its not the end of the world if ypu end up there

A huge establishment right on the harbour serving food from across the world, all cooked in various stations surrounded by self serve desks you can help yourself from. Clean throughout & friendly team who can't do enough for you. Upon arrival you're given a timeslot and table (we booked online, easy to do) and payment can be taken at the end with drinks included or you can order your drinks at the bar. These guys are fab for large groups and parties, in this case we held a staff party here which was easy for us to arrange as they can handle many different dietary requirements and preferences, they also allowed us to pay for the food as a total and then sort drinks out separately at the bar which was a godsend to save the tedious "who got what" around the table. I will happily visit again & can strongly recommend the place, the food is superb and all you can eat goes a long way!

Food - mainly Indian food. Japanese and Chinese sections tasted average. BBQ section tasted good. Desserts very sweet, diabetes patients not recommended. Paid extra for bottomless soft drinks.

Music was super loud when we arrived. There was food everywhere but very limited vegetarian / pescatarian food. The only vegan food I saw on these stations was salad. The food was not up to par and the "sushi" section is not fish during the lunch period. Honestly, I wouldn't go back. The food was very mediocre and I came away hungry, as I had to spit food into tissues, it was gross there was a lot of salt in everything. £3.75 for a refillable fizzy drink.

In an area with a lot of tourism, it is a restaurant if you want to eat quantity without quality. It is the typical continental hotel buffet where they "make" you eat. The truth is that it was full, but for that reason, it is cheap and has variety, but if you want food that is delicious, this is not your place.

Great for large groups as there's something for everyone. I do feel the sushi section and dessert section need a bit of an upgrade. Everything else I have no fault with, everything always hot and refreshed if running low. Great prices in the week and reasonable on weekends. My favourite section is the Chinese or the fresh salad section. I do find the waitress service quite slow with taking empty plates away/providing more cutlery and all seem to speak in their native language across tables while serving customers which seems highly unprofessional. However, the staff on the food stalls are all very welcoming and will answer any questions you have about the food. Overall I will return as I have for many many years.

Food is always on point!! Loads of choice! Never had a bad experience here.
