Za Za Bazaar in Bristol, City of

I took my son here last night for dinner by his choice he is 9. I have to admit I was very surprised by how good it was. I have been here before and the food was terrible. Where as half of the food is clearly frozen and fried or microwaved. The live cooking stations are incredible the tacos were stunning as was the fresh noodles station. I was a bit disappointed with the peking duck and would prefer it to be crispy aromatic duck but thst is my preference. We will definitely be returning

A great range of food and great quality and great to see it being freshly made but the service was very poor. There was great confusion amongst the waiting staff about when we should pay, what drink and food we could have and if we should get cutlery or not. The food was awesome and there’s no where quite like Za Za Bazzar but the service left us feeling ignored. There was no sense of cohesion amongst the staff it was very confusing.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best experience. We had been waiting a long time to go, so we were very excited. When we arrived, there were loads of people, and we were seated not far from the entrance, where it was very cold and windy. Since it was a date, I wore a dress, which made the cold even more uncomfortable. The soft drinks, like Coke, were only available with sweeteners, not regular Coke, but that was okay. The food wasn’t tasty at all, and some sections, like the sushi area, had very limited choices and poor quality. The lasagna had an especially long wait time. We had been to a similar restaurant in Scotland and had a totally different experience.

Visited on a Tuesday lunchtime. Their all-you-can-eat pricing is based on which time of which day you visit, and Tuesday lunchtime was at the cheapest price. We had a time limit of from 12pm until 1.40pm, which is plenty of time. Nice view of the harbourside. The quality of the food was generally very good to excellent, especially the curry and noddle dishes, and the range of dishes on offer was very impressive including lots of vegetarian options for my partner. The waiting staff were very polite and attentive, cleaning used plates and topping up water etc very efficiently. The atmosphere was lively and pleasant, a few loud / excited children but that's to be expected at this type of venue. Overall, excellent value for money, huge range of food with something for everyone, very impressed and will visit again.

I had a fantastic experience at Zara Bazaar! The food was delicious, with a great variety of dishes that were fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place for a memorable meal. Special thanks to Githma, who provided outstanding service throughout. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was exceptional.

Awful experience my daughter did not want to eat when we arrived and was told if I didn’t pay for because she was eating she would have to leave the restaurant and that we had to pay for her to sit even though she did not eat a single or item or have a drink

We have wanted to try this place for a long time but we live a long way from it Eventually made it on a Sunday evening Very busy. Had to book. It was not easy to order drinks although a lot of staff around. Not all food options available I hated to see the amount of wasted food on people's plates. People piling the plate up then taking a mouthful then pushing it aside for a waiter to dispose of. The quality of the food was debatable I do not think that 'all you can eat' places like this are helping the food wastage problem in the world and are not good for the environment We will not be returning as we prefer quieter surroundings, better service and better quality food. This type of restaurant is ideal for people who just want to pig out and waste food as in their heads they are not paying for it

A Street market type environment in a warehouse type of building. Very comfortable, good range of food choices on an "All you can eat basis". Close to the harbour front and good value for money. Pre-booking would be preferable, although there are walk-ins

I booked here for my twin sons' 17th birthday. I very nearly cancelled the reservation after reading some of the terrible reviews on here, but we decided to give it a go regardless. It was a Friday night so I expected it to be rammed. It was busy but not terribly so. We didn't have to queue more than a few seconds for any of the food stations. The food was better than I expected (although obviously food on this scale is never going to be 'fine dining') and there was just so much choice. Nothing was skimped upon. For example there were Chinese dishes absolutely bursting with prawns and meat were plentiful in all the dishes. The scale of the place is amazing and it is a real experience to visit. There were some tables next to a thoroughfare which probably wouldn't be great to sit at but there were plenty of booths and tables further out of the way, which were better. I would say worth a visit.

Where to begin! I was so overwhelmed coming here - I wasn’t expecting it to be so huge! Such a vast amount of food - so many options! There’s Italian, British, Indian, Chinese, Thai, Mexican etc. In all honesty - it is full of families & children running around. I think a massive way of improving would be to open up more sections of the restaurant & spread us all out because by cramming everyone in just a few sections - it gets very overwhelming for guests. Well it certainly did for me anyway! Other than that - fabulous service, as soon as we were done with plates, they’d be promptly taken away! Very impressed. Overall, was really happy. Would recommend to book in advance as gets so busy :)

Terrible from the first minute you step in the door!!! 2 ladies barking at you for name/booking reference, no communication just told “go upstairs” and ticket thrown at you. Go to the top of the stairs to stand in another queue, once at front a man dressed in all black snatches the ticket and shown to a table in the middle of 50 other tables and no room to even pull out a chair to sit! Food was mediocre at best and you have to queue for absolutely everything! At one point the person in front of me used his hands to go through the tray of chicken to get what he wanted, hygiene issue big time. A lovely young lady bought us drinks to the table and did say it was busier than normal for a Saturday evening. I asked to move tables but she said they allocate tables to people so can’t move. Note, the plates are all side plates and very small can not fit much on in 1 go. For 2 adults and 1 child, 1 soft drink each and could only physically be bothered to get 2 plates of food each, the bill was just short of £90!!! I feel totally ripped off and sadly all 3 of us have been very unwell today and can’t go far from the bathroom 🤮🤮🤢 Awful place, awful service and no value for money, expect to be poorly the next day……. Needless to say we won’t be back. Avoid is all I can say 👎🏼

Avoid.. 24 hours after eating here for Father’s Day I couldn’t stop vomiting. Shortly thereafter so did my partner and our children. Don’t trust the hygiene rating.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with respect to vegan options, but was really pleasantly surprised. On every table there’s a vegan menu which shows what’s available at each food station and how to order things to make them vegan. I carried this around with me, and was approached by a kind member of staff who also offered to assist with selecting vegan choices. In this sort of venue some cross-contamination is inevitable I guess, so potentially something to keep in mind if this is a concern, but overall I think the vegan offering was really good. I do feel like I was able to get my money’s worth. The only feedback is that I’d love to see more vegan dessert options, as I’m a bit of a sweet tooth! They had one cake and vanilla ice cream.
