Been coming here since it opened been coming here more in recent years with my bf. We both consider ourselves regulars. AMAZING quality icecream Yumis is the BEST place for QUALITY icecream in Nottingham.The flavours are amazing the depth of flavour is amazing. You never get any artificial taste no plastic taste. The manager is very friendly and nice and so are the staff. Great value for money. Highly recommend!

Please go to chocoberry and learn what milkcake is. Travelled from Leicester, thought I'd try Yumi only to be met with great disappointment. Milk cake is not half cream, half cake. Most of the cream ended up in the bin.

The food and drinks are great but sometimes, the service can be a bit slow and the music can be too loud depending on when you go in.

Choc heaven was so great and I would love to try new flavours in near future. The service was great as well especially Aiman, she guide me with the menu and select the best ice cream for me according my preferences and she is very helpful with a nice welcoming smile. I ordered the Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows and Cream, and it was absolutely delightful! The preparation was perfect, and it tasted amazing. A special mention to Aiman, who attended to us with great care. She took the time to explain the menu thoroughly, offered thoughtful suggestions and recommendations, and was incredibly attentive throughout the ordering process. Her friendly and professional approach truly enhanced our experience. Highly recommend this place for both the delicious beverages and the excellent service!

On time delivery and polite delivery man

The chicken tikka panini was delicious and quite different to any other taste I have tried before. We also had ice cream - a unique selection of flavours. I recommend the paan masala and biscoff ones but they have a good variety including hubba bubba! Pricing was reasonable and competitive too. Nice calm lighting as well which was relaxing and helped by the fact that I wasn't being deafened by loud music. We were served by the owner and he was a really nice guy. The experience at this ice cream parlour was absolutely fantastic! 🤩The ice cream here is of superb quality, with a wide variety of flavours, and every bite feels refreshing and delicious. To my surprise, the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering plenty of recommendations. The decor is also just my style—simple yet elegant, with a cosy atmosphere and a beautifully designed interior. What’s even more amazing is that the owner and I happen to be students from the same university and the same course! 🥰🥰If you’re looking for a great place to enjoy some ice cream, this shop is definitely the top choice!

Yumi was the first desert bar opened in Nottingham nearly a decade ago. Visited on numerous occasions and never been disappointed. They are constantly updating their menu, awesome presentation and attention to detail with everything prepared fresh on site rather than semi catered offered in big national chains.

Great service and excellent quality of food, we were served and serviced by Viv and she did a spectacular on her job. Dee also helped and carried out a great service by being patient in taking our order

I love coming here for a coffee latte & cakes. The smell of the place draws me in! The coffee is from Nottingham which is better than the american coffee shops like Starbucksin my opinion and also top customer service great homemade brand Yumi 😊

The ice cream is ok but the staff are really rude, there was one particular staff member who had me waiting 15 minutes for 2 ice creams while serving the people who had ordered after me. Will never go there again but will definitely speak to the manager.

I nipped into Yumi yesterday afternoon and ordered the Biscoff Extra Thick Milkshake. I can honestly say that it was the best milkshake I have ever had! The customer service was also outstanding! Highly recommended! 😀👍

A great place to sit down and enjoy ice cream. The menu is quite complete with lots of choices for sundaes, milkshakes, and gourmet ice cream cones. There's a good choice of ice cream flavors, and they are happy to give samples if you can't decide. An easy walk from the tram station.

Found this place on google and decided to give it a go. Weird design, and it was cold inside. The coffee is proper handcrafted and delicious. Waffle is fresh, fluffy and almost too much. Ice cream tasted nice too but they forgot my whipped cream what they were also happy to remove from the bill. Would definitely return. The ruby chocolate spoon looks nice and it's a good idea but for me was a no go.

Visited this disgusting dessert shop today. I ordered 2 scoops of ice cream and waited. I then asked the assistant if there was any way she could do the order as I had a car waiting outside. She said it wasn't possible so I said that's OK I'll wait. Then, the man who was doing the orders (who looked very miserable and stressed preparing orders) came over and verbally attacked me for no reason and without no provocation. I was afraid he was going to get physical. He was abusive and ranted for ages at me. He shouted at me for no reason in front of a full shop, swearing and insulting me. He threatened me into agreeing that I was grateful for him doing the order. He carried on for 5 minutes being verbally and almost physically aggressive. I listened and then responded in my defence. I was determined to take my order as a little boy waiting outside would have been very disappointed. The whole shop was watching his threatening behaviour. This man would not have degraded a man. He was an asian man; sexist and was intimating me as I was an asian woman. This is a disgusting dangerous man. WOMEN should avoid this shop as this man is dangerous. He apparently was the shop owner's brother. Never seen or experienced such vile customer service. Boycott this shop. This Muslim man thinks he can degrade women. Vile human. Vile shop. I did report him to the police and logged the incident

Savs and Gen look like young waitresses making a few extra quid at the weekend. They are not. Savs is a combination of the head stewardess at Emirates Airlines, Sidney the chef-artist from Neflix's The Bear, and your warmest-witted favourite family member. They smooth your visit with gentle attention, making you feel safe and treasured. The cappucino was beautiful, although I have had a good cappucino before. I have never had cheesecake presented like Savs did. I won't ruin the surprise. Just go and try.

The service was excellent, the staff was very cooperative especially the sister in hijab . Cookie dough was bit expensive interms of the portion size but taste was nice.

We tried the matka tea here. Quite good masala Indian milk tea. Good ambience as well

We’ve been coming to Yumis for years and I’ve always liked it but our last visit was disappointing. On entering the staff member told us to order at a new kiosk which I did. After bringing the desserts she asked if everything was ok and I said we’re just waiting for a milk cake. She requested to see the receipt where the payment was clear and then told me they don’t have milk cake and I should have known to check what they have in stock before ordering. I told her that wasn’t something I would have known to do and she told me to remember for next time. I’m sorry, but I think that was quite rude. The owner/manager did substitute for a different dessert which is fine and the server may have been training because he seemed to have to constantly remind her what to do. The food was lovely as usual but I’ll probably avoid sitting in from now. Edited to add another star for the polite and professional reply

Approchable nice staff Exquisite desert Clean

So this is on the driver and not the ice cream parlour. I write comprehensive instructions for the driver to follow but he didn't. By the time the ice cream turned up it was soup rather than ice cream. This app only gives the option to criticise the food outlet and not Just Eat, their satnav system always sends the driver to the wrong place. There is no option for " food inedible due to delivery error". There is no way to store delivery instructions so you are forced to type out the same instructions every time. There is no option to contact the driver for the customer or food outlet. There is no way to contact a live person at just eat when things go wrong. There is no option to say food arrived in an unsatisfactory condition only it arrived cold. Of course ice cream is cold but no use when melted! Sorry for the bad review on the vendors profile it really wasn't your fault.

Hi there! I have come here a few times! The desserts and drinks are all fab and we really enjoy them! However we have noticed that the few occasions we have come - the owner is ALWAYS criticising his staff. Complaints about her scooping skills, latte art etc! We really do feel sorry for the employee! Please be kinder to your staff :)

1st time at Yumi, there was 4 of us. Had a couple of Desi Chai’s & some ice cream scoops, with raspberry sauce. When the order arrived I requested some more raspberry sauce & I was shocked when the girl who served our order to say “sorry that’s what u get with a portion” bearing in mind I had a double scoop! I was speechless !!! My friend intervene & said he only wants a little more & please charge us, then she got the syrup bottle over & ask for my ice cream so she can put the sauce on it her self !!!! Unfortunately I don’t think I will be going again!

Recently visited this desert shop and got smoothies with buy one get one smoothie offer. Got the coco loco twice cause only two flavours was available at the time. The smoothie had a hint of mint flavour to it which was not mentioned in the menu. Didn’t like the flavour much because of the mint. Store was not well lighted. Customer service was excellent.
