Yum Yum in Preston

Had a few lava-like pizzas here in the 2000s. Not going to win any Neapolitan awards, but served the purpose 🤝

My 14 year old bought a doner kebab the guy at the till said it was £7 but then when she had to pay he told her it was £9 because she's sitting in.

Lovely food and well worth the money

Stopped to get some food while on our way up North, read the reviews and was well worth the detour, place was clean , food was good portions, good quality and price was £19.90 for 4 of us , Medium Pizza, Chips , 8 Ch wings & Chicken Burger with chips ( can’t knock it) we’ll done !! Thanks

Ordered burger tasted funny when I looked underneath green mould really put me off

Yum yum is hands down the best take out in the town centre, out side, it's still up there, everything you order I'm sure you will be happy. The pizza is outstanding trust me , I won't go anywhere else. The only thing you shouldn't order and expect greatness is the basic cheese burger I can't say anything nice about it, but everything else honestly is on point. Now that is a honest review. Wife ordered to pizza and kebab meat. When it arrived the pizza had clearly both been dropped as they where all over the boxes with toppings stuck to the lid, the meat was also very cold and tasted of nothing. Really unhappy with what get sent. If I could it would have been zero stars. AVOID

Placed an order (and paid) because the food is omg so good while not realising delivery opens at 18:45 since no one made it clear on the website. Rang yum yums nicely to say the order had been placed at 18:45, they didn’t answer until my fifth phone call and once the man did answer the phone he was extremely rude to me. I barely spoke a sentence with out him continuously repeating himself while sounding quite angry, told me they don’t get refunds so I would have to ring somewhere else. I kept trying to tell him it’s ok I’ll keep the order but just after I said yes he said “yeah yeah ok bye. Bye!” And put the phone down on me. I feel slightly cheated since I rang the “company” to get my money back and apparently the office is closed. What even is this? Anyway guess I’ll be getting food in seven hours. No complaints other than this, maybe be nicer over the phone since your takeaway is really good.

Good takeaway, located near the nightclubs for that drunken food rush, food is like any other takeaway from kebabs till wings with a side of fries usually as standart, probably the best around there after the night out.. Although recommend also trying during the day since the food seems fresher then 😉

Chicken was epically good on my kebab, but the lamb was inedible (literally)

I asked for a vegan burger...he says yes vegan. And he did me a chicken burger without saying me nothing.

Deliberately tried to short can get me. I ordered a Calzonie pizza for £6, I gave the cashier a £20 note, the cashier then gave me £4 change. So OK he made a mistake, it happens right? Wrong! I said to the cashier "Sorry mate, but I gave you a £20 note." The cashier then said "No mate you only gave me £10." What's even more frustrating at this point, is that he has not put the £20 in the till, it is still crumpled up in his hand. So I said " Sorry, but I was watching when you opened the till, and you didn't put the note I gave you in it. you just had just taken £4 out to give me." The cashier ( At this point putting his hand around his back, that was holding the note.) Said " No your drunk mate." Cosnidering, I was working nights at the time, as a delivery driver, with my Van parked outside. I said " No! I'm not drunk. I'm working, my van is outside and you have my £20 note in your hand. I'm tired and don't want any trouble, just the correct change and my pizza." By this point I was feeling both angry and worried. Before I could muster a sentence, that wasnt overly aggressive to speak, Three other staff members came to the counter and said " Your drunk, he gave you the right change." To now cut a long story short, I spent 30 minuets arguing with them, but to no avail. I left the shop -£16 and I didn't even get the pizza!! So if you are going to eat out here, be sure to pay by card not cash. Don't get me wrong, the food is good, although the morals of the staff serving it, are not. Needless to say, I won't be going back, and hope that a God exits, because I will have great assurance that, the theft who stole my money, will burn in He'll! !

Not the best . A basic fast food place busy owing to proximity to night venues. Whilst what I ordered was recognizable it was bland tasteless and very greasy . Always look at fast food places for the hygiene rating . I was told this one was a 4 inside . This I would seriously doubt .

Was in 22/12/18 the food was absolutely disgusting. the shop is full of low life's and 1 little chav, who was que jumping, threatened a woman. When the owner was told he did nothing. There's plenty of quality food outlets in Preston and I would strongly recommend using one of them.

Not good as I personally didn't eat at this establishment, but it seems to be a popular place in the city centre after people have been out drinking alcohol, so this isn't really a good recommendation on whether it's good or bad, as people tend to eat anything when they are drunk

Catering for drunks? Awful dry overcooked and cooked long before chicken. Over cooked burger and a terrible pizza. Most went in the bin and even my dog turned away the chicken. People shouldn’t have to spend their hard earned money on such dreadful (dare I call it?) food.

After clearly ordering what I wanted it took 3 attempts to get it correct. Chips ok, but chicken kebab dripping in grease and tasteless. Poor compared to other takeaways in the area. 🤮

Unfortunately i cant give it zero stars! Went in last night and ordered a kebab to be told it will take 10 mins so why dont i just have a pizza. I said i fancied a kebab so no thanks and the guy became a prick! So i went elsewhere where they will serve u what u want and not what they want. Will NEVER step foot in there again.

Was 40min late. And everything cold. Secound time already like this. It's used yo be first choice of mine. Not anymore.

My takeaway of choice after one too many beers, close to the bus stops on Lancaster road. They'd make a fortune if they installed a pay toilet.
