Friendly, clean and tidy. Served quickly, plenty of space inside and out. Sausage baps were hot and tasty as were the drinks tea/latte - you could eat/drink in or takeaway - great position within the park, plenty of free parking - wheelchair, child and dog friendly.

Looks like a youth club, attracts too many people from outside the village In summer.

Love to come here for a quick lunch or just coffee, it's reasonably priced with a good standard menu (I had baked beans on toast £3.25) dogs are welcome and staff are extremely friendly, it's a great facility within the lovely park area

We live just down the road and the coffee is good, the food is what you would expect and the service is generally friendly and quick.

Such a stingy portion of ice cream for £3.50! This was before I’d starting eating any. The guy serving me looked so disinterested, it’s no surprise that the food looks like this. It’s a shame because this cafe could be so good, it’s perfectly positioned on the edge of the park.

Great park let down by below average cafe staffed by grumpy teenagers. Won't be back.

Lovely location. Friendly and helpful staff. The sausage and bacon sandwich is cracking!! The park itself is perfect for a wander, and if you're a dog owner then Rover is going to be in heaven!!

Great place to eat, excellent friendly service, nice menu, reasonably priced, and you can take your dog and enjoy the park after. Check opening times. Really good kids area too, booking is recommended for this as it gets really busy in the School Holidays.

We had a couple of great Full English Breakfasts, even though we were half-an-hour too late to order breakfast, but the chef consented to make them anyway and delivered them in person. The staff were all very friendly and cheery and there was a great family atmosphere but perhaps the music was a little loud. We will certainly be going again soon.

Soup was nice. Not happy about a customer being allowed (by staff) to let their dog sit on the upholstered seats (having just been running around on the muddy grass) and run around off the lead. The chairs look like this happens regularly. Won’t be sitting on those!

Dropped in for a cuppa. Looked like a load of families had trailed through the cafe and outside to the seating areas dropping stuff on the way! Oh yes they had!! Very messy everywhere. Tables needed clearing and lots of litter everywhere. However lunch was very good, salad and a wrap and cuppa too. Lovely staff. Very busy so very popular. Shall going again.

Hadn't been since major refurb and I think change of management. Good value drinks (the kitchen was closed for hot food by late afternoon) and quick service even with it heavingly busy, but found it all rather oppressively noisy with piped music and a loud kids party in the function room that probably could have been closed off. Good buzz if that's what you want (and clearly plenty do, given the popularity!) but didn't quite suit us now, especially with aging relatives. Will still score it positively because it's obviously a successful formula and we wish them well!

This is dog central, the cafe I the park even sell doggie sausages at £1 each. My GSD Mia loves to meet up with my daughter's lab and have runs and plays before coffee.

Lovely cafe serving really nice food at very reasonable prices

It's a nice little hall with a bouncy castle and some nice toys for the kids. But it absolutely is not worth £4-£5 per child without even a coffee included. Considering you get the same from a playgroup with coffee and biscuits included this felt extremely steep. Staff don't help with there dismissive attitude.

Great location overlooking the park, with facilities to match, indoor/outdoor seating, toilets, car parking (although no need to encourage people to drive) etc. Good menu for a cafe in the park, nice to see young people learning, but need more supervision on process management! Reasonably priced.

A walk in the park with the family, and a quick coffee in the cafe in the park, and a pretty good coffee as well.. No food for me, but everyone else had a snack and looked more than happy.

Visited on the weekend! New cafe and looks fab! Does a kids lunch box, ice cream, chips and coffee. £2 for a cone so reasonably priced. With toilets and seating both inside and outside. Dog and kids friendly. This place is fab with the park, skate park and woodland.

Basic food. Sandwiches and snacks,tea,coffee, and soft drinks, but what a lovely park to take the children to. A fantastic day out and all accessible in a wheelchair.

Since my last visit I gave it another try. It is friendly and the staff lovely. But the cafe is dirty. Sat outside and an overpowering smell of dog faeces from the shrubbery they have outside. Was just about to mention something alto the staff when another man nearby said not to bother as he had several times mentioned it. I guess that’s dog owners fault but still - you don’t pay £10.65 for 1 hot drink and 2 ice creams to enjoy them with a dog poo odour! No hot pastries available today- only thing to offer for snacks were breakfast sandwiches which are double the price of hot pastries. So much potential, yet so little to offer

Since my last poor review, visited again after taking dogs a walk around the lovely park. The cafe is only good for ice creams and cold drinks. It's such a shame as it's a lovely venue overlooking the park. The cakes are horrible and choice of hot food limited. Drinks served in paper cups and food in cardboard boxes - what a waste. The area around the till and counter is always a mess. Always lots of youngsters serving, and although friendly don't seem to know what they are doing. This cafe could be so much better.

The Good: The views out to the Park and Countryside beyond. The Bad: Everything else. The Tea was not Hot The Eggs were only half cooked The Beans were Cold The Sausages were black and burned and still not hot How hard is it to make a cup of Tea and fry a Breakfast?

Friendly staff but food and drink is overpriced.

Myself and family hired out the function hall for my Nan’s 80th birthday party and from start to finish Chaz & the team made it totally stress free! From the initial enquiries and booking, ordering in a specially requested gin for my Nan so she had her favourite tipple available. My nan felt she was treated like royalty and practically waited on hand and foot and had the most amazing night! Couldn’t recommend a team or venue more if I tried! 5 stars are not enough! Thank you again to Chaz and the whole team down at YCITP!

Food was way over priced and poor quality, and waiting time very long. We had to clear our own table as well.

Nice place not a massive menu but what was there really nice

Lovely new cafe, overpriced though. Closes just in time for school to finish. Save your time and go to coffee 108 which has a much more professional ambience and is cleaner.

Great atmosphere. Not bad on price. Fills up very quickly.

Good coffee spot, although may have been having an off day with the hot chocolate. My mocha tasted sickly sweet and the girls hot choc tasted the same. I will ask next time I'm in as generally this place is great after a dog walk.

Absolutely love this café. Been coming here for years, and I have to say the service and quality has been constantly top notch. I pop in for a coffee with my dog some weekends and always love to be served by a lovely girl with short colourful hair, who always especially brightens my day whenever I am served by her, and provides outstanding service. Sorry I don't know your name, but keep up the amazing work!

Dog friendly cafe with small but lovely menu. Lots of kid sessions available and lots of walks and playparks to keep them entertained.

I had a sausage and bacon in ciabatta and I can safely say I've NEVER in my life had someone so delicious and perfectly made in my life. And dont get me started on their amazing customer service. Its definitely service with a smile and food made with heart and love

Great place to take the dog and have a nice little break away from the norm but if your thinking of trying the breakfast menu I would avoid the scrambled eggs.

Just want to say a huge thank you for the warm welcome this morning! I’ve worked from home four days a week for over a decade, but have never used the flexibility to work on ‘another location’ - until today! No electricity at home for two hours so thought I’d make a first visit to Your Cafe In the Park! So glad I did and will make it a regular thing now’ A friendly welcome, yummy sausage sarnie, excellent coffee - and a really nice vibe! Loved sitting by the window watching the dogs romp around the park while I worked! Thanks also for the use of Wi-Fi and the socket!! The whole atmosphere really worked for me and o made a massive dent in my inbox! THANK YOU!!

A group of runners we came for coffee post our 5 mile run. Quick and efficient service, good coffee, lots of spaces indoor and out. Nice to see the cafe buzzing with families and dog walkers.

Bought drinks and ices, and went too the toilet. There did seem to be more staff than customers on 28/8/22 at 4.45pm! Prices seemed ok. Ladies toilets definitely needed toilet paper and a clean! One out of order

Great place with great staff and food! Perfect for a weekend with the daughter and some fun with the dog.

We popped into the cafe today after a walk around the park. We only stopped in for ice cream but I loved how the new cafe looks! The staff were warm and friendly and even when I realised my daughter's Feast was a little flat they changed it with no problems. I look forward to visiting again soon

Nice place to sit outside for some food or a brew. They also do Chai which isnt always an option.

Have always loved this place. Everyone has always been really kind and caring. The cafe had closed but only by a few minutes but workers were still going in and out of the building. My daughter was desperate to go to the toilet and in absolute distress but wasn’t allowed quickly in (she’s only 3). This ended up in an accident. We had spent a good £25 in the cafe too.

For dog walking this is our new favourite place. Large area to walk around, parks for the kids, a stream for the dogs to splash about in, and a cafe that has a fast service, decent food and is reasonably priced. Quite often other stuff going on too.

Advertise as serving food until 4 but when I arrived at 3.15 I was told the kitchen closed at 3pm.

Visited for the first time today. Our pup is 7 months and we have been on the look out for places to visit. He (and us humans), loved the open space! It was busy but there was so much room to wonder about. We made a pit stop for a bite to eat and drink and sat outside. We were sure if dogs were allowed inside.

Went here for a Mothering Sunday had a nice walk around the park starting to get cold went inside for something to eat order some food the young members of staff was running got the order wrong there heads was somewhere else not concentrating when asking for cheese and ham toastie when ordering sent me a tuna one instead didn't listen poor menu list on offer overpriced food no sweet in the display ideal for dog walkers to meet here

40 mins for kids scrambled eggs on toast (they were probably forgotten) had to chase twice! Arrived 15 mins after serving the adults their sandwiches which obviously caused chaos. Lovely venue but unfortunately the kids serving and preparing food need some adult common sense and awareness. Tried the cafe again recently, no toilet paper in toilet and 3 hand sanitisers empty...which I found out after trying all three...kinda defeating the object and creating multiple germ hubs 😞

Lovely place to visit, with play park for both younger and older children. Cafe was nice and clean. Staff helpful. Lost one star due to lack of ingredients in menu - no jacket potatoes or lettuce.

An excellent venue. My husband and I had our wedding reception in the main hall. In the lead up to the wedding, Nick was very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and there was even a soft play area upstairs for the younger children. The whole day ran smoothly and the whole team were amazing. Thanks so much!

Come to the park lots of times to exercise the dogs. Park is fantastic. Cafe is so disappointing considering its new premises. Had stale carrot cake today. Never a nice choice of cakes, pastries, flapjacks etc. Often just some unappealing cookies in a jar. Hot food is nothing special. Hot drinks ok. Licensed. Quite expensive for what you get. Considering how busy the park can get, a much missed opportunity to make this a really nice cafe.

We came here six months ago, had a full breakfast, which was nicely presented until I noticed I was eating mouldy toast. Told them and they said it was fresh that day. Unfortunately went again today, second chances and all that. Had the most awful breakfast baps. Incinerated bacon and egg. Nice Cappuccino though. Definitely won't be back!

Hired for our daughter's engagement party, excellent event. We had the BBQ option, food was great quality with a veggie option and good quality food. We also opted for the bubbles on arrival, very nice. Chas and the team were amazing on the night and thanks too Nick for all your help in setting up. Highly recommended, would use again, great service and brilliant event, thank you!

This park is a firm favourite of ours. The park itself is really spread out, there's a lot of Greenland and benches for picnics. It has a playground full of a lot of well maintained equipment; 3 slides, a roundabout, lots of swings, even a swing for people with disabilities. There's a small skatepark and further down holds a lovely little stream that the kids (or doggos) can go paddling in. The cafe itself is always equipped with friendly attentive staff and it's not badly priced either. They have a soft play cafe too which you do need to prebook for. If you have kids it's worth checking out what groups and extra activities they hold there because I know they always have things going on for little ones. Car parking is free which is always a bonus, I've only struggled to find a space twice and that was on the weekend or school holidays, if you go during the week you're guaranteed a space. All in all a great freebie, could easily spend all day here.

Quite a nice place to sit for a coffee especially outside but poor menu eg no vegetables with kids hot meals and not very good quality. Toilets etc have been renovated since last we were here and park is lovely for children.

Big queues today, which I found frustrating as there were plenty of staff. Behind the counter, people were ambling about, one girl was having a check on her phone, etc, and just generally nobody was in any hurry, even though the queue was to the door. Looked as if everyone was too young to take responsibility for the situation and get cracking. Coffee was perfectly nice, when I finally got hold of it.
