Went for an evening get together with work colleagues and friends. Was lovely, beautiful place to relax and socialise. Nicely laid out and impeccable clean. The food was lovely ,homemade chutney and homemade sausage rolls along with a great choice of sandwiches. Our hosts Fiona and simon were perfect and really friendly. Will be back again and next time going to bring my family as there is so much do to and I want some more sausage rolls

Stopped off for lunch while visiting Murton Park at lunchtime. Was really busy which is always a great sign - if you can hold on till after 1:30pm for lunch it gets a bit quieter - and had a coffee and a cheese and ham roll. Amazing! Food quality is excellent and the coffee was great. The cafe market's itself as using local quality products and definitely delivers. Great service from the team and good value. Very clean too despite being really busy when I was there.

We visited here whilst the family pooch was at the groomers plus it was a birthday lunch for my son, along with his nanna and girlfriend. 3 burger meals were ordered and 1 brisket beef sandwich with extra chips plus cokes and pots of tea. Staff were super friendly and chatty and found out it was my son’s birthday. Food was hot and delicious. I’ve seen other reviews complaining about the cost but as I see it, eating out is a treat and if you’re going to eat out find the best places that don’t do fast food or volume but rather local and on site and cooked to order. I would recommend the brisket sandwich over anything as it was absolutely delicious and the chips were proper chips. We particularly liked the selection of plates the food was served on- a real throwback to not only my childhood but my mums too!! When we had a cake the staff brought over a cake for my son with a candle in it and we all sang happy birthday to him- total embarrassment!!! I visited Yorkshire barn cafe a week later just with my mum and we had one of their scones with the works on it- it was one of the most delicious scones we’ve had in a very long time AND they are made on site. The quality of the food, the atmosphere and the friendliness of the family who own and run it is second to none- we hope the upcoming family wedding they were having there is all they want it to be! We will definitely be back!!

Great for a warm up on a chilly spring day during the Easter Holidays. Popped in to warm up with a true Yorkshire Tea brew after a trip to the Derwent Valley railway with my son. Great service from the tea despite being really busy and a good quality brew. Didn't eat, but the food looked amazing and has been great on past visits. Very clean and well-organised. Well done Yorkshire Barn!

The menu was good and the food arrived hot and fresh. My only issue is that I would say it’s overpriced for this type of venue. Over £9 for a bacon bap and chips and £15 for a burger is definitely on the high side. The bacon bap was a simple bacon bap - nothing fancy or special for over £6 alone. I ended up just getting 3 meals to share for the 4 of us and that was £35. Can of coke for £2.50 must also have a high profit margin for something they just buy in. Would visit the museum again though but perhaps a packed lunch next time and just buy a couple of coffees.

Nice and clean but very, very expensive 2 adult burgers and two kids chips and sausage meals was over fifty pounds and the children's meal didn't include a drink which is just ridiculous. A can of drink is £2.50! Whilst the burgers were tasty they were not very filling at all.

Such a wonderful barn cafe set in Murton park. We stopped in for lunch and the food was delicious home made, and we ended up having a cake each too, it was all so tempting. The owner was very welcoming and staff chatty and attentive. The cafe itself clean and comfortable, I would highly recomend

Visited in August with my son and had not ever been before. Was really impressed, as despite being a really busy event weeked at the park, the team gave really great survice without even flinching and the constant queue. Clearly a well organised venue, our order was processed efficiently and was excellent quality food that was great value for money. Definitely somewhere to eat if you are visiting the park and will be visiting again.

Went with a friend. Cafe is small but clean and tidy. Limited range of food. They need a proper coffee machine (my capacchino was very bitter). Friendly staff.

Charlotte made my son's 21st vegas inspired birthday cake along with cupcakes. I can not express enough how accommodating and very talented Charlotte is! The cake most definitely had the wow factor with numerous comments from everyone. Charlotte even made gluten free cupcakes for me as she knows I'm coeliac . Aswell as looking amazing the cake tasted divine! Thank you so much Charlotte x
