York Street Coffee House in Birmingham

If you want to enjoy exceptional food in Birmingham give this place a try. It’s a small intimate setting and the owners are hands on with your dining experience so you appreciate the passion and care they have for their customers . The food was very good amazing flavours and textures. It was hard to choose a favourite BUT the Wagyu was something else and to hear how they cook it was fascinating.

We had Chef’s table for a special birthday. This time last year we ate at Diver XO, a 3* Michelin in Madrid. I enjoyed the food tonight just as much as that experience. HK must be close to 2* soon? The ‘snacks’ were amazing, every course was delicious and watching the brigade at work was a privilege. I particularly loved the crab arancini snack and the amazing flour based ‘gnocchi’ both cooked by one of the junior chefs. So impressed. Incredible value for money in our opinion. The fine wine flight was beautifully curated. The Sommelier was passionate and engaging. Bearwood honey parfait really was a lovely ending. Thanks all. We will definitely be back and recommending all around.

Me encanta Adam’s y siempre diré que sí a una visita. Nunca he estado en un evento de maridaje de vinos hasta ahora. Genial ver el restaurante lleno y un gran ambiente , el menú había sido creado con mucho cuidado para asegurar que complementaba el vino. El sumiller de Nikolls & Perks estaba muy bien informado y fue genial tener un miembro de la familia del viñedo a quien realmente compró la historia familiar a la vida. Mi amigo y yo tuvimos una gran noche, simplemente brillante

Pizza was lovely, as was the atmosphere. We were served by Kelly who was bubbly and friendly and a great server. Beer selection could be better, but that is splitting hairs.
