Firstly, we collected, didn't rely on delivery. So our food was hot and plentiful. Meat dishes were full to the brim with meat (unlike other Chinese takeaways where they're mostly vegetables). Everything was fresh and tasty...... apart from the chicken balls, which were the worst we've ever tasted 🙈. Too much bready batter, not enough chicken. But the rest of the dishes made up for it. Used 3 times in a fortnight. No complaints at all 👍🏻

Takeaway Only - Not bad at all. Salt and Pepper chips were a bit soggy due to packing but tasted really good. Special Chow Mein and Beef in Black Bean sauce were nice too. Never tried this place before but will use again.

We ordered take away Saturday night, it was delivered in good time. But unfortunately the standard of food was not good overall. The chicken balls were the worst we’ve ever had, the batter was so thick & sponge like, you’d need a steak knife to cut through them. Once you got to the middle you’ll find a tiny piece of dry chicken. The smoked shredded chicken was also the worst I’ve ever had. The seaweed on the other hand was actually nice. As was the crispy chilli beef. The egg fried rice was ok. Won’t be ordering from here again & wouldn’t recommend. I’ll stick to either Hong Kong garden or double dragon.

I hugely regret wasting my money on this takeaway. Tasteless curries, greasy prawn crackers and practically raw meat in my duck spring rolls. I thought I would have some luck with the chicken balls...unfortunately not. The batter on them was ridiculously thick and there was the scrappiest bit of chicken in the middle. Don’t waste your money folks.

I have read the negative comments and do not agree. The food here is authentic and tasty, and they deliver quickly. I have ordered from this shop for over a decade and never been disappointed.

We had chow mein, pork balls and bbq ribs. Overcooked, over sweet, slop. Pork balls were so overcooked the meat was gone dry. Ribs were also far too over cooked and far too sweet. Don't get me started on the chow mein... There really aren't any good Chinese restaurants left in Hastings now.

We were told that the food would be delivered in 30 mins & it took 1hr 15 mins! Went it arrived the butterfly prawns were inedible & cold, the chowmein was covered in a salty gloopy sauce, the whole thing was a huge disappintment & has put us off chinese food completely!

Lovely chinese takeaway. The chow mein is one of the best I've had. Big chunks of meat and huge prawns. Only downfall were the king prawn balls. I found the batter doughy and undercooked, but would definitely use again.

After we moved into our new home in April, we tried out quite a few (ok, a LOT) of takeaways, cafes and restaurants before we unpacked our kitchen stuff. This was one of the places we've gone back to several times already, each time with different people ordering. Everyone has been happy with their choices so far.

Unfortunately the reviews are right - food was bad especially the chow mien.. the beef chilli was almost inedible.. only thing that was okay was chicken balls. Absolute waste of money. Although delivery time wasn’t too bad.
