Nice Chinese Take Away in Hastings

INEDIBLE! Special curry - watery mess with rock hard meat Special chow mein - stodgy greasy lump of noodles with bland rock hard meat Crispy shredded beef - mushy peas consistancy and lathered with oil. Not crispy at all Egg rice dry and bland Called and complained , offered no refund hence review. Wasted 35 quid on a watery mushy plate of grease!!!

Nice food very expensive to dear this country for takeaways for old people

Just such a disappointment. “Crispy shredded chilli beef” was not crispy, was saturated in a sauce layered thick with oil, more sauce/onions mix than soggy beef and just way too oily. Not what I was expecting at all. Steamed prawn dumplings were soggy and barely any prawn. Grilled dumplings were average, same for the spring rolls. Sad to have strayed from my favourite Wok You Like.

My family and I found STONES in our food!!!!!!!! Absolutely revolting.

The food took 2 hours to come , was cold looked bad tasted poor. Not happy at all. My father had a hair in one of the dishes just Wong!!

I can only describe the food as vile the chicken balls were so overcooked you couldn't cut them, crunchy is an understatement. Unless you want a dentist trip or a hospital trip I highly suggest you go elsewhere I have never had a Chinese this bad before avoid it like the plague!!!! A name rebrand is definitely needed as NICE it aint

Absolutely disgusting definitely won’t recommend to people, will go back to Magic Wok round corner. Went in ordered came out with food 5 minutes later, normal takeaways u wait 15 minutes to be cooked. food was minimal no taste the ribs was just bone, shredded chilli chicken was more like popcorn chicken no flavour n soft, sauce was very runny. Shop was filthy dirty but gave it benefit of doubt as was recommended great food!!! How wrong they should be shut down!!

Chinese takeaway, food is pretty good

All I can say is this used to be the best Chinese around but let's go forward 3 years and the food is greasy, lukewarm and tastes like it was cooked last week ( very old oil) weird taste to nearly everything and made myself and partner feel sick afterwards, very poor preparation and delivery of food which used to be lovely, I'm wondering if they have changed hands or just cba with there food anymore, I expect this from the greasy kebab houses but not an established Chinese restaurant, poor very poor

One of the best tasting Chinese takeaways in Hastings/ St Leonard's

Ordered takeaway for delivery and received rock hard prawn balls. Called the takeaway to let them know this and they just said that prawn balls are meant to be like this. When I told them they were inedible and requested a replacement or some kind of compensation for this this they refused saying that prawn balls are meant to be hard. See picture below. I'm sure you can see these aren't just well cooked... they are burnt to a crisp! Do not order from this takeaway... food is terrible and customer service is even worse.

Well we’re not sure what happened, but obviously someone wasn’t in the mood for cooking… special fried rice was sloppy rice with a few big mixed chunks thrown on top then saturated in gravy… special chow mein was over cooked noodles, again big chunks thrown on top and saturated in gravy… luckily the s&s chicken was good and rest passable… but for almost £40 it’s definitely a place we won’t order from again despite having used in the past!

The food they made was all lovely but was an hour and a half late being delivered. That has put me off ordering here.

Order placed with a 25 - 45 min delivery time. Order confirmed as 1 hour 40 mins delivery time. After 2 hours cancelled the order as unable to deliver within the next following 30 mins, & told me I live too far away! (3 miles!!)... No refund received... Absolutely disgusting & shocking... Food was luke warm and sweaty. Never had Chinese food THAT bland before! Noodles were plain, NO seasoning or sauce etc, rice was clearly not fried and again no flavour what so ever and the chips were green?!?! Wont be ordering from here again.... Ever!!

Terrible 1 hour late food was cold and had sweated away in the box. Couldn’t even eat was a blessing I used Deliveroo to be able to get my money back for this huge f** up. Unfortunately u have to give at least one star. Will not order from here again and my best recommendation is to not order from here however at your own risk, the free fortune cookie was best part of the meals received. Very poor customer service when I called to see where my food was. I really struggle to find a positive review “nice Chinese”

Awful o stars Crispy spring roll - transparent pancake wrapping, not crispy at all, soggy and greasy... couldn't eat it Lemon chicken was dry and hard. Some of it the chicken was Looks as it was made several days ago. Also luke warm. Rice was room temperature.,,, Ideal for food poising Prawn balls replaced by chips! We didn't eat as it wasn't just disgusting but worried it would case this would make us ill.

Nice chinese, lovely food so fresh not greasy and delivery was about 30 minutes, highly recommend the best chinese food I've had from hastings and St Leonards in a few years

Ordered on Uber was supposed to arrive in 45 minutes rang the Chinese several times only to be told it Was on its way this went on for an hour in the end we went and collected it as we had paid for it when we got It home it was freezing cold greasy the worst Chinese we have ever had can’t even score this place as it was that awful STAY AWAY

Lovelly food and brilliant service

We went in yesterday to order some food for dinner, standing there waiting to order could see the man cooking the food then the bloke cooking then licked the spoon he was cooking with and carried on.. bloody disgusting especially with corona around bloody disgusting will never ever use again!! Wouldn’t be surprised if people end up poorly from this place even the overal cleanliness of the place was disgusting can tell no mopping or cleaning has been done properly!🤮🤢

Firstly turned up 45 minutes late, food was cold. I ordered ribs and just got chunks of gristle ( photo attachment) was probably the worst Chinese take away I have ever had

I called and placed an order at 5.15, I was told our food would be an hour so I called at 6.45 to be told it has left and would b 10 mins then at 7.15 I call to be told it’s in the kitchen and will be 15 minutes , then I call back at 7.45 to Be told it will be to use by 8.30. I advised we weren’t happy. The lady offered us free chicken balls and egg fried rice. The driver comes quoting the full price we advise of the discount and take off £9. I then get a call at 11pm from the driver calling us liars and that he will be round in the morning for the money as we ripped him off. Absolutely fuming. I am a keyworkers working at this difficult time all I wanted was a meal with my family and now have to deal with this. Avoid at all costs. I will never order again

Used this chinese through JustEat quite a few times now, really lovely food and always delivered on time and never had any problems. Highly recommended... Favourite dishes so far are beef with mushrooms, prawn toast, king prawn balls and if you're veggie the tofu in black bean sauce is delicious 👍🏻

Just dont bother... its gross and discusting and just not good at all. Go to hong kong gardens... much better

Had the sweet and sour pork Hong Kong style. It is a tad vinegary, but that didn’t bother me as it is how I like it. Food delivered within timeframe stated, nice and hot when it arrived. And large portions. The whole family had a very enjoyable meal. Would recommend

I was told it was going to be 55 minutes, 1 hour and 15 minutes later I called and they said another 15 minutes. 20 minutes later I called back as my food was still not here, just to be told they were busy, if they had told me it was going to be that long then I would have gone elsewhere! No compensation! If I could give them zero stars then I would! I will never be ordering from here again!! I don’t care how busy you are, nearly 2 hours for a delivery is an utter joke!!

Awful food. No taste, soggy, undercooked. Had me on the toilet 3 times last night. Wouldn't give that to my dog. Rude delivery driver too.

Unfortunately we ordered from here on a Saturday not long after it opened for the evening.We were told it was a 50-55 minute wait for delivery, however they would try and be quicker, we waited well over an hour and forty minutes ;-(The food was cold by the time it arrived and each container was only half to three quarters full.Taste wise it was nice but overall I was very disappointed and won’t rush back !

Ordered from here on Friday, took well over 1hr 45 mins to arrive tried multiple times to call the company however kept sending me to voicemail. Food finally arrived and I wish it hadn’t, firstly it was stone cold and was quite frankly the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. I had a few mouthfalls of what I had ordered and instantly regretted it. Made me feel very sick and ended up binning it! When finally managing to speak to the restaurant today, well over 24hrs since I ordered they were very unhelpful and told me I could have discount next time I ordered however I would never order from here again or recommend anyone else to get food from here. Was told the manager would call me and never heard back. Terrible customer service and disgusting food don’t ever buy from here!!!

Inedible, made me sick. They refused to give me a refund because I tasted the food... how am I supposed to know the food is of quality unless I taste it? £21 out of pocket and a waste of food, very rude manager. Avoid!

Waited over an hour for the food to be delivered, only to get a text saying the food is on its way.. only then to wait a half hour more. It finally arrived after an hour and a half. The food was cold, and without our ordered drinks!

My go-to place. Their food is great but their dumplings are amaaaazing. The owners are super friendly and even delivered my food across the road one time when I was too sick to collect it. I highly recommend this take-away

I had the Nice special Chow mein which I've had before and had been very good. This time the chicken was very chewy suggesting it's not freshly cooked. Much smaller portion than before. Only 2 king prawns. Disappointed. Will look for another take away.

The best chimes take away in St Leonards or Hastings by far , can be seen by the constant que for Orders and bikes and cars coming and going , reasonable food large portions and good value for money
