Excellent food nice and hot. Popcorn chicken box is great for fussy child. XL bowls are great value. Delivery took an hour, which was quite long, but in line with what was stated when we ordered.

Wasn’t good tonight guys over cooked squid and prawn balls, Chow mein very dry and salty unusual normally very good 🤣

i use to enjoy Chinese but it was cold and yucky l won't be having again from there .

3rd time of ordering here, this time was actually a mistake via Just Eat as I had forgotten the restaurant name. Previously have ordered and collected, but food every time has been like an obvious taste of being reheated rather than prepared fresh. Sloppy and bland 'deep fried Koren chicken' and awful musty tasting egg fried rice. Just avoid, there are much better Chinese takeaways locally.

bland and tasteless food I'm afraid. I'd made a point of avoiding this restaurant as it's never been good on previous visits, 3rd strike and out as I mistakenly ordered in a rush. Lots better in the area, sadly not many left on Just Eat 🤷🏼‍♂️

for a new years eve order we were really surprised at how hot, and lovely the food was. I know that it's probably one of the busiest days, so just wanted to say thank you to the restaurant.

Chips were not good, soggy. The ribs not enough bbq sauce, but it was hot and the driver brought the meal straight to the door, thankyou

Hong Kong Chinese restaurant is always our go to! Haven’t managed to find a tastier Chinese takeaway in Hastings! Our food is always delivered on time, the delivery people are always friendly, even in busy holiday periods. I Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! 5**

Expected it to be later as Xmas Eve is obviously really busy! Food luke warm, prawn balls soggy and oozing oil, spring rolls cold and chewy, prawn crackers stale (or just put inwith hot food for too long).

After an hour rung restaurant who wouldn't cancel as driver on the road, 10mins away... apparently!! Appreciate they're busy at this time of the year but shouldn't take on the orders if they cant cope. Good food but cold.

the grilled prawns was so full of ginger I'm still burping ginger an hour later and chowmein all I could taste was msg as I make the same noodles myself would not recommend

amazing food n delivered early

Delivery was pretty quick, delivered before the earliest time slot. Chow Mein was stone cold in the middle.... and chips were luke warm. Salt and Pepper Chips and Chicken were plain, no spice or flavour at all. Ordered twice before and have been great, definitely disappointed this time! 😞

Relatively easy to order food. Estimated delivery time was approx 1 & 3/4 hours after the order was placed, which seemed excessive, but it was a Saturday night and it did arrive 30 mins earlier anyway. Driver was pleasant, delivery was swift and food was still hot! Would recommend.

Yes our food was a little bit late but it is Friday, and lots of roadworks, so we had anticipated it. But the food made up for it as it was as amazing as always. I've now found yet ANOTHER new favourite... The ribs in curry sauce was so good it's going to be a regular from now on. Great food, amazing flavours, and brilliant service. Highly recommend

I ordered food at 7.45pm and it said it would arrive between 8.25pm and 8.50pm. It eventually arrived at 9.40pm. Strangely though, the app said it had been delivered by 8.50pm.

It was our first time trying Hong Kong Garden and I'm happy to say we will definitely be ordering again. The food was very tasty and didn't feel greasy. There are fantastic vegan options and would definietly recommend the Sweet & Sour Vegan Chicken Hong Kong Style!

have ordered from here a few times before and food was very good...today we were extremely disappointed, mini spring rolls (always been my most favourite thing on the menu) lacking filling and overpowered with garlic, beef in chow mein tasted burnt, chicken fried rice was dry and very salty and veg curry just way too sweet, absolute waste of money as it was all left uneaten ...will not be ordering again

Nothing special. The spring roll was just full of bean sprouts which tasted funny. Singapore fried rice was tasteless. Won’t be ordering again l am afraid.

It’s honestly my favourite chinese takeout restaurant, the curry is a nice texture and I thoroughly enjoy the chicken skewers with peanut sauce (Would recommend)

Ordered for 18:15 ,at 18:15 status changed to 18:30 we thought no problem. 18:45 still no food so contacted the restaurant to be told it’s on its way. 19;00 still no food so had to contact again to be told it had been delivered. Explained we had not received anything only to be told that they know the colour of our door so we had our food. The food left late & was delivered to the wrong address. Driver appears at 19:15 hands me bag of the same cold food & leaves.I requested a full refund! Awful

I ordered it earlier on in the day 1. To get my order in and 2. Hoping that picking the time frame I did I would be getting fresh and HOT food. Sadly the Hot part let me down. All the food was warm at best. Lovely food. So it’s a shame
