I always enjoy my food from Hong Kong Garden 👏

The food was amazing, we loved every dish.

Always tasty food and service was incredibly quick (we ordered for asap, estimated time was 50-65 minutes and it arrived in 15). Food was still piping hot. Great vegan alternatives!

ordered at 6.11pm came nearly 2 hours late disgraceful, regular customer and was appalled by this was told a delivery time of 7pm aswell

giving delivery times then saying delivered enjoy but not even left restaurant ! don't give false info on the app especially when u have young kids that need to go bed have school in morning! would rather they be honest if not got a driver... which i found out after ringing restaurant... shame as food is always lovely!

the food is usually perfect!!! so disappointed by the House Special Chow Mein and House Special Fried Rice - virtually no meat just lots of noodles/rice. for £7.50 per item I'd expect some meat!!! what a shame.

normally orders from here are quick, the delay was late coming through and has made me think twice about ordering from this restaurant again. Food wasn't piping hot either. Left with indigestion and still hungry!!!!

The food was tasteless. I could not tell that the lamb was actually lamb. The nuts were not actually cooked with the lamb. The chicken and squid were also tasteless and there was no sauce with the squid. I would only buy the dumplings again.

Third time we have ordered recently, each time it has been a lot later than promised. Tonight took 2 hours for our order to arrive despite the update saying it was on time and then delivered. Sadly will not order from here again as too unreliable.

Took 2hours for small order. Called them 3 times and they lied about where the food was….wont order again

everything was perfect. from the bbq ribs, satay chicken, mini pancake rolls, prawn toast, crispy seaweed and the beef in black bean sauce with fried rice. it was all very enjoyable

Good food, but delivery was 2 hours late, problems with the communication. And didn’t read delivery note saying to please call and woke up my daughter

called twice regarding my order!! on its way they said, food was delivered by a child obviously out with parents and food was cold!!!

ordered food at 6.30pm then told it wouldn't be delivered until around 8.20pm which is absolutely ridiculous. Rang restaurant at 8.15 as delivery update still said thanks for your order. Was told they were waiting for a driver and it would be another 15 minutes. eventually turned up at 8.50pm. Food was ok.

No food arrived. Not sure what happened, not sure if I'm being refunded... pretty bad TBH.. might as well just go pick it up next time - from somewhere else though.

The web site said out for delivery but we only received it half an hour later and it was cold. We warmed it up as best as possible but the quality was lost. Sad because we always use Hong Kong Garden and this is the first time the food has been stone cold.

Excellent food nice and hot. Popcorn chicken box is great for fussy child. XL bowls are great value. Delivery took an hour, which was quite long, but in line with what was stated when we ordered.

3rd time of ordering here, this time was actually a mistake via Just Eat as I had forgotten the restaurant name. Previously have ordered and collected, but food every time has been like an obvious taste of being reheated rather than prepared fresh. Sloppy and bland 'deep fried Koren chicken' and awful musty tasting egg fried rice. Just avoid, there are much better Chinese takeaways locally.

bland and tasteless food I'm afraid. I'd made a point of avoiding this restaurant as it's never been good on previous visits, 3rd strike and out as I mistakenly ordered in a rush. Lots better in the area, sadly not many left on Just Eat 🤷🏼‍♂️

for a new years eve order we were really surprised at how hot, and lovely the food was. I know that it's probably one of the busiest days, so just wanted to say thank you to the restaurant.

Chips were not good, soggy. The ribs not enough bbq sauce, but it was hot and the driver brought the meal straight to the door, thankyou

Expected it to be later as Xmas Eve is obviously really busy! Food luke warm, prawn balls soggy and oozing oil, spring rolls cold and chewy, prawn crackers stale (or just put inwith hot food for too long).

After an hour rung restaurant who wouldn't cancel as driver on the road, 10mins away... apparently!! Appreciate they're busy at this time of the year but shouldn't take on the orders if they cant cope. Good food but cold.

Hong Kong Chinese restaurant is always our go to! Haven’t managed to find a tastier Chinese takeaway in Hastings! Our food is always delivered on time, the delivery people are always friendly, even in busy holiday periods. I Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! 5**

the grilled prawns was so full of ginger I'm still burping ginger an hour later and chowmein all I could taste was msg as I make the same noodles myself would not recommend

Delivery was pretty quick, delivered before the earliest time slot. Chow Mein was stone cold in the middle.... and chips were luke warm. Salt and Pepper Chips and Chicken were plain, no spice or flavour at all. Ordered twice before and have been great, definitely disappointed this time! 😞

Relatively easy to order food. Estimated delivery time was approx 1 & 3/4 hours after the order was placed, which seemed excessive, but it was a Saturday night and it did arrive 30 mins earlier anyway. Driver was pleasant, delivery was swift and food was still hot! Would recommend.
