Usually I'll come in here for a 'treat day' lunch. Always had a good experience. I know prices have changed, but it does seem the portions have shrunk too. I went in today and I don't know if it was severely understaffed or what... I'd already had two items off the conveyor belt before I was even offered a beverage. I asked to pay and the waitress didn't bother coming to me. So I had to go to her at the front but then she had to go back to where I was sat to calculate the plate costs. Just seemed like there wasn't enough staff, and the customer service has gone down substantially, which is a disappointment. Not sure I'll be going back anytime soon. :(

I have eaten here so many times it is one of my favourite places to go with my girlfriend but tonight I had the worst experience ever we checked before arriving what time it shut and it stated 9 we arrive at 8:25 meaning we had plenty of time to order and eat before the restaurant shut. When we got there a young lady with black hair and glasses came up to us and I double checked they are still doing food and if we are able to get a table for 2 and she snapped back “yes but we do close in 20 minutes” in a quite aggressive manner, which already made us feel like they didn’t want our business. I replied back to her saying “that’s fine we won’t be too long” and the restaurant didn’t even close in 20 minutes it close in 35 minutes. She then took us to a table and immediately asked what we wanted before we even sat down. Which again was not very nice as it felt we were being rushed for no reason. I was a bit taken a back by this and so was my girlfriend as we both exchanged a look about how she is talking to us. My girlfriend order a Coke and I ordered a sprite as that is what we normally get but we hadn’t even had chance to look at the menu, she also never asked if we had even been there before or if we had any allergies which I do have. Once we had order the drinks she didn’t say anything other than asking if we wanted ice to which she only let my girlfriend reply before she stormed off to go get them and we heard he slamming the glasses down and the bottles as she made our drinks. As she was doing that me and my girlfriend were in disbelief over how bad she was acting towards us and how rushed she made us feel. She then came back and put the drinks down on the table. Then reiterated that kitchen is closing in 20 minutes and if we want to eat we need to order now bare in mind we only sat down about 2 minutes ago and had only just began looking at the menu. I said that’s fine and double checked everything is still available to order. Which she said yes so we started to look at the menu to decide. She continued to stand at our table while we looked at the menu making us feel very awkward and uncomfortable and we have never experienced that before any where and I think it is very unprofessional and rude my girlfriend then went to order some food after briefly looking over the menu as she felt rushed by her standing there waiting for us when she finished saying one of the things she would like the waitress stormed off and grabbed it (as it was pre made just sitting on the side) without saying a word and slammed it on the table again we were in disbelief over how this girl was acting she didn’t even let my girlfriend finish ordering before storming off and getting it my girlfriend then ordered another bit of sushi and she once again stormed off when this happened again we both felt like we are waisting our time and money and being treated horribly by this girl. She then came back and slammed the next thing down on our table and at this point I said “to be honest we are just going to go cause you clearly don’t want us here as you want to close” to this she said “you can still order you have 20 minutes” the fact that she still thinks that we want to spend our time and money at this place after how she treated us is terrible. I just said “no it’s alright you just want to close” and we left and we couldn’t believe how poor and unprofessional she acted. Both me and my girlfriend have worked in customer service roles in restaurants before and if we ever acted that way towards customers we would of been fired this is shocking customer service I am extremely disappointed. I understand that it is the end of her shift but that does not excuse that behaviour towards people giving them attitude and rushing them. As I said before me and my girlfriend loved going here but tbh after tonight we might not go again. I am not usually one to write reviews but this just ruined our night but we ended up going somewhere else and having a much nicer experience but still could not believe how poorly this girl behaved.

Great spot. We were served by Marchin who walked the line between being helpful and giving us space to enjoy the meal excellently. Food was very good quality. My wife doesn't enjoy sushi and still had plenty to choose from. Their misu soup was fab. We had a big meal, drink each, plenty of variety and a pudding each and it came to about £25 each. Will definitely be back in the future!

Really great service and staff really polite. Excellent food and great atmosphere. Definitely a favourite and will be back again. The only downside I would say is my daughter ordered the teriyaki chicken and asked if it was spicy and was told it wasn’t, I do content it wasn’t a spicy dish but it did have chillis on top. When she ate one it was very spicy and made her red in the face (albeit the chicken in itself was not spicy). Luckily she is not terrible with spice and was just a bit uncomfortable for a few mins, but I did think if it was a younger child it would have been more of an issue, and could have been considered that it was a child asking, and chillis are of course spicy. She stopped eating the dish after which was a shame as she really liked the chicken and was a bit worried to eat more. Not a complaint as we did laugh it off after she guzzled her drink - but just thought it worth mentioning. Overall very happy with the visit.

The food was enjoyable. So disheartening seeing them take loads and loads of food off the belt and throw it in the bin. I'm sure there are strict rules they have to keep to, and it must be hard to meet demand and guess what will ne used up. No wonder it's so expensive. If I do come to one of these again I'm only having stuff off the belt and not ordering from the menu. Surely there could be a better way, stick a half price sticker on in it and send it round again. Or if they didn't throw it out Infront of you, in this case ignorance is bliss...

Found a dead ant in my packaged edammame. Have ordered take away from here a few times, very inconsistent, sometimes the food is satisfactory and other times I get undercooked hard rice, tiny portions of fish or fish full of unpleasant connective tissue in my rolls. Had better experiences at different YO branches. Safe to say I won't be returning after the dead ant. One good point is the staff are friendly.

The prices seem to be going up and the portions smaller. Went home feeling hungry and poorer. One meal turned up very late. And was the vegetable version and not the one we ordered. Not having your meals delivered by conveyer belt anymore spoilt the experience for the kids too.

I called about an order in need to pick up and waited outside as i was with a dog. I did called ahead however and a member of staff said if i wave them through the window, they will come outside with the order. I arivved,waited, they SAW me, smiled even. And nothing. So i left as i was freezing for 10 mins. I could see them eat while starting at me. A red hair staff to be more clear.

Ordered here twice on uber eats and both times entire meals were missing! The food that did arrive looked like a child went to a sushi class - pieces not cut equally, and falling apart. Rice was overcooked and was just a congealed mass in the maki. Considering the prices here and what you get for it - simply AVOID.

Update: £71 order, 2 main meals were missing and I was only given a £6 refund. Portion sizes have fallen immensely - looks like a children's meal. The quality is still high though, such a shame. Wait times are very long at 1 and a half hours. The fish is also not well cut. Nonetheless, the food was fresh and delicious. The wait times are just a huge negative.

Over focus on external orders. Service was sloooooow and staff were stressed due to the external orders. Chefs were focused on the external orders too. Selection on the conveyor was poor. Very limited selection and only 7 at night. All the customers looked fed up waiting. Building was terribly dirty, thick dust over the seating and cooking area on the ducts and pipes. Hot tap stuck on in the kitchen and lights out around the building. Strong wafts of cannabis from ventilation although not the restaurants fault, needs attention. A ruined night out and the first disappointing meal at a Yo! anywhere in the country.

Did we have a one off experience? Pointed out our table was dirty and waitress just wiped a small piece of tomatoe? off??? They ran out off miso soup so just the one bowl. Hardly any veg options on the belt. A lonely doughnut visited us far more than our waitress. When we arrived she didn't seat us but explained she had to walk around... which she did continually meaning we couldn't get her attention. The avacadi maki rolls should come with a magnifying glass :( The smashed cucumber should be in a ponzu sauce.... ponzu sauce read watered down soya sauce. I was ill for 3 days after visiting here but unable to say confidently it was after eating here but I suspect it was. Small portions makes it expensive

Arrived at YO Sushi today prior to making a booking beforehand to get told they couldn’t find me on the System, arrived at a table right next to the staff who eat their lunch and complain about customers annoying them throughout the duration of our stay, condiments on the table were half empty and used , was not clean in the slightest, waiter come up to us eventually to ask what we would like to order to then hear her sigh and walk off, food took ages to come out and my food arrived before my partners, which we could see the food arrival for our table was never at the same time for both of our meals it’s was every 20 minutes , was given food that we didn’t order and they forgot about the rest until I flagged down one member of staff which just said “well you don’t have any allergies so why don’t you try it” which I responded it wasn’t what we ordered and she grabbed it and walked off. staff are rude and chuck the food on the table without saying a word and can’t be bothered to be polite and have some manners, they all look like they give up with their jobs and don’t want to be their, I had to keep asking the staff when our food would be out and keeping track of money we spent as we were given wrong food and they kept getting our order wrong even though we placed it already, management is a big joke in this restaurant, food tastes very poor and not flavoured at all, definitely was packaged and not fresh, All the food tasted weird and gone off, the conveyer belt was empty ! Even though we was their for over an hour nothing was put on the conveyer which was a big disappointment, even though the restaurant was not busy and had maximum of 13 people in their including me and my partner. We travelled over an hour to get their and I will definitely not be returning from the absolute waste of time we spent here , our money was wasted and on top of that they tell you to pay and don’t provide a receipt unless you ask for one ? I took the receipt after having to ask, and to my surprise they charged VAT which was around £9. I wouldn’t even tip 1p if that optional. Disgusting customer service , food is appalling, hygiene is terrible , If you value your travel , time , and money I would go elsewhere. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It’s not worth your stress !!! On top of that look at the dessert they show on the menu vs what I was given, which what a surprise was gone off food! I have never had to spit my food out in a restaurant!!! I told the staff member and got a half arsed apology ! What a Waste of time !

The food here is amazing and always is a 10/10. Based on the food alone, I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody. However the customer service that I experienced today, was not great! First all, having walked in the building, we stood waiting around for a solid 10 minutes, while several members of staff just looked at us and turned the opposite way, and walked elsewhere. I would just like to point out this was a Tuesday afternoon/evening so it was not busy at all. After being seated down, it took a really long while for anyone to come in and check on us, we had flag down the staff. Everything seems like a big effort for any member of staff that we asked. We stopped a member of staff, and I kid you not they literally sighed as we asked to order more and proceeded to roll their eyes. I’m never the one to usually to leave reviews, but the customer service that I experienced today was not at the level I expected/usually receive. But food general is great. Edit: In hindsight after thinking about it, it was just two members of staff who that attitude and I don’t want them to reflect the whole establishment. The lady with the blonde hair, short (very specific description I know 😅) was absolutely lovely and checked in on us a few times after receiving our food.

I tried the bottomless sushi last week and enjoyed it sooo much that came again today...and WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! Absolutely waste of money this time, I'm absolutely annoyed that I came a second time and I'm about to waste 60£ between the two of us. After the initial good experience I decided to come to celebrate a special occasion and this has most definitely ruined it. The variety of plates on the belts is minimal, and the belt is half empty. The variety of salmons, tuna etc that was available last time has completely disappeared. After enquiring with staff if more plates would be added and explained how different it was last week, I was just told "there is probably less staff in the kitchen".... Would definitely NOT return, very disappointing experience

After many visits, we went for the new Bottomless Belt offer where it's all you can eat off the belt only. I can definitely say we had our money's worth. The waiter told us how much we would have spent if it were a normal day and we was surprised. Great food, friendly staff and the bottomless belt was great value for money if you have an good appetite like myself.

Ordered via Just Eat and when the food arrived it was a total sh1t show. Driver called me to say he was outside but he wasn't, took him 25 minutes to find me after calling me. It looked like a child had prepped it. Awful presentation, no chopsticks, no soy sauce, wasabi or ginger. Absolutely awful, I called the restaurant but no answer as they were closed. I was walking past the next day so went in to give the feedback only to be met with absolute disdain and a seriously heavy sigh and eye roll by the host at me asking for a manager and then the manager was as useful as a chocolate tea pot, just said nothing he could do, not his fault and it was probably just what was left as it was close to closing time the staff probably just rushed it. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING LACK OF SERVICE, EMPATHY OR WILLINGNESS TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF A PROBLEM. DO NOT ORDER.

I always love coming to this Yo! Sushi. Having recently been to the one in Grand Central and having a less than stellar experience, my return to Worcester was welcome. The staff were friendly, approachable and welcoming as always. When we went there was a fire in the building next door. As the high street was blocked, we waited outside the restaurant. When we finally came back in we were offered green tea on the house and given apologies, though the event was out of their control. The food was freshly prepared for us. Dishes were washed throughly before they were plated up for the conveyor belt too. I feel bad for never asking for their name, but there is one person here who almost always serves us. They wear glasses, winged eyeliner and have dyed, curly hair with a full fringe. They always greet us with a smile and make sure our experience at Yo! is the best it could be.

Been here a few times and this was by far the worst experience. May I add the only thing that rescued this meal was our server, Sam. He was fantastic. The food took ages to prepare and when it arrived all 4 meals were missing toppings which we then bought out half way through our meal On a single dish to spilt ourselves between 4. The meals, poke bowls, came out in small take away boxes, black poke bowls visible in the kitchen but they were serving in cardboard takeaway bowls, which clearly had less in so no value for money, and didn’t feel like a sit down meal. It compared to a Boots take away rice lunch meal deal. Not worth £15! It wasn’t busy when we went and the kitchen staff looked miserable and uninterested. A real shame and we won’t be returning or recommending, typical chain experience sadly.

Place never has tuna sashimi available, I've gone in numberous times now and the menu is all vegan or salmon. The shelves of premade are all empty except for salmon or vegan options so obviously no one wants them. Why not just stock more of the most popular fish? Wouldn't that make you more money as a business? Only other complaint, fried chicken (karaage) was under cooked the last two times had it there. Staff are great, absolutely no complaints there. Maybe when place is rammed with unwashed students in the pjs half the year they serve their mates 1st but that's not a big deal. It's just infuriating that the one thing they do that no one else does, they never have in stock. And yes occasionally they have tuna nigiri but it's two tiny slithers of meat and costs more. Get tuna sashimi available more often and I'll make this a 5 star.

As we walked in a lady (who worked there) backed away from us, as we got closer she kept walking back and was allergic to ‘fragrances’ which made us feel quite uncomfortable as she didn’t go near us. Price wise you get what you pay for cooked infront of you fresh on a plate within seconds absolutely loved it thanks all the girl who served table two around 2:30pm today needs recognising she was amazing at explaining everything and making us feel welcome 😎 also do great curry’s for people who don’t like the sushi side like katsu curry etc

Toilets were a disgrace. I was told to use the Ladies instead of the Disabled toilet as this toilet had a dodgy lock?! The food was poor on the conveyor. I'm sure the made to order stuff is better. The bowl covers on the belt were overused and looked dirty. Prob one dishwasher run too many, it just looked unappealing. Overpriced conveyor belt with questionable cleanliness. The children loved the novelty of the moving food but we left underwhelmed and feeling grimy.

Really disappointing experience. Came here for a quick lunch. Waited 5-10 minutes to be seated with no acknowledgement at all from the team. Waitress very officious when we were eventually seated, no apology for having to wait. Food was nice, but a lot of crab sticks and not a lot of salmon or other types of fish on the conveyor. Much less choice than if we'd ordered takeaway. To top it all off, we spent the same as we would have for a 3 course meal in Cote across the road, where the food quality, service and ambience is far superior!

Made a mistake of coming there in the evening for a meal. DO NOT GET ANY RAMEN FROM THERE, not worth the price considering how nasty it taste, oversalted so you dont taste it. Teryiaki chicken ramen was bad, chicken burned, seen the chef taking pieces of chicken out and chucking them into bin then I realised it was mine when it came to me. With his bare hands! Then touching his face and playing with his phone with the same hands whole evening. THEN TOUCHING ALL FOOD WITH THOSE HANDS. Not even joking, did not wash his hands at all but handled food, salad, chicken and gyoza. Wanted to order something to forget about poor ramen but was disgusted enough to leave. Was asked how was my food when paying so I stated my remarks but all that was said was" thats a shame..".!!!!! I really rarely post reviews but this was ridiculous. Someone should audit their hygiene practices. Also, was seated in booth but it was filthy and I had to use a tissue to clean the seats or I would be sitting on crumbs

I love asian food, however today I had terrible experience. Usually I am ordering sushi but today I decided to eat in. I was shocked when I saw one of the chefs (tall with beard, without gloves) playing on his phone during cooking in front of all customers, then touching his face, apron and then my food 🤦🏻‍♀️. Is this a joke? So disgusting, he should at least wash his hands before touching gyoza ,salad!!!!! I had seafood ramen: don't recommend this dish as it was extrimely salty , paid £23 and left hungry 🤮😭. Very dissapointed sorry but 1*. Its not worth it.

We went and ordered Yo-Fries, waited 10 mins and asked if the order had gone through, the waitress said that it had. We then waited 30 mins until the chef came over and asked us if we had place an order of Yo-Fries, we said yes and he walked away. Finally after 50 mins of waiting the Yo-Fries finally came. I went to restaurant on Saturday with my partner. His bowl arrived in 10mins, mine in around 50 mins after chasing twice. I have ordered large portion but size wasn't any different from regular. Food luckily was very nice. I had the voucher to use as a welcome to Yo! Club gift but waitress didn't want to proceed it as "it was Saturday" despite the fact on their terms and conditions there is no mention about specific dates to use it.

Food was lovely however portions were smaller than when we last came. The one chef with chunky braided hair working on the curry and gyozas was really rude to the servers. She was quite openly aggressive verbally and physically (slamming fridge doors shut and slamming fryer baskets around) in-front of customers, and ignoring the waiting staff when they asked for table numbers. Other than that all the other staff were lovely, especially the other chef with blonde/brown hair working on the sushi station. The one chef really ruined the atmosphere for customers and fellow staff members alike, which is a real shame as the food was top notch.

Good menu, delicious dishes! Hard to ask for the bill. Even though it is slightly overpriced for the small portions, only 2 or 3 plates will fill you up. Decor is nice however the kitchen in the middle may seem unappetising. I wouldn’t say this is a place for dinner, yet it is a nice filling lunch.

Stopped off for dinner, as the menu looked good. Was quite disappointed with the food. The portions were tiny and over priced. The katsu chicken came out quick, the chicken and rice were luke warm. The Pork Ramen had very little taste, the soup was watery. The yakisoba portion was tiny and the chicken bits were few and far between. With 3 drinks it cost £40. Disappointed! Thank god Greggs is open late in Worcester, as we left YO still hungry. Also it wouldn't hurt to dust the place ceiling is covered!

I went out with my sister for dinner at the Worcester Yo Sushi on the 23/06, and the food was great! I loved it.... But the staff REALLY let us down. We were ignored several times, I even raised my hand and tried ordering a drink of water through their app, which was ignored again. They were stood near the front of the store talking, I even saw a girl on her phone, I am more than sure other people eating had noticed, seeing that a man from Birthday party group had to get up to get their attention (even though there are signs saying to stay seated), and another gentleman (with presumably a date or friend) had to get up to ask for something, because he too had his hand up to call for attention. I do feel sorry for the chefs, because they were doing a great job, their food was delicious. But the waiting staff really let everything down. For how much we spent, we think it wasn't worth it, will not be going again.

Had a voucher given to me as a gift by friends. Terms and conditions on website specifically said do not need to use whole voucher at once, so intended to make 2 separate visits on different days. Server bluntly said voucher has to be used all at once. Tried different methods on her iPad, no luck. Need to either train staff to know how to split the voucher, or update your incorrect terms and conditions on your website

Not a very good experience. Went for my child's birthday. Spen about 30 minutes, trying to order from our phones. This didn't work, so had to get waitress to order. The food was dry tastless and bland. Certainly not worth the almost one hundred pounds, we were charged. Would not eat here again. Also every negative review has the same response from the manager.

Visited on Monday. Concept is really good but there are still kinks that need working out. The only reason for 2 stars was mainly due to the friendly staff. The prices are quite extortionate for what you get. Ordered 2 small meals and 2 drinks (water and cola) and it cost us £20. When I use the term small to give you an idea about the size of a computer CD (see pics from other reviews) Due to a busy weekend (according to staff) they were out of stock with a lot of products. The other two issues are if you need service you need to get up and chase someone down, Ideally a little button on the corner of the table would work fantastic, to let someone know you need help as someone which mobility issues and unseen disabilities this was very frustrating and its not easy getting in/out of the booth when you need help. The other problem is its ALL do it yourself, you scan the barcode order off the site pay and it goes through to the chefs. This isn't "bad" per se, but it would be so much better and customer friendly if there was a tablet built into the table (like they do in Japan). Myself and my party really struggled finding what we wanted on a small screen briefly caused tension in the dining party as we couldn't find anything, everyone wanted to see what was going on and wanted to +/- minus items. Won't be recommending or returning anytime soon.

I loved this pub when we visited on sunday 27th Oct. It has so much character. It's oozing with architectural history; you're surrounded by oak beams and low ceilings. The regulars are friendly. It's dog friendly. The bar staff are friendly. It has live music Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. It has a pool table. The loos are clean and and well appointed. I read the last couple of reviews, and it saddens me that they want to put people off visiting this historic tavern. My experience was the total opposite.
