Used to be a good take away and very close to me .but now is closed

This place has definitely closed down permanently

We had the classic burger meal and the supreme burger meal, the classic burger as the wife bit into it was under cooked, I ask for a refund on the burger alone, and was told that they could t do that, so I will report to the relevant authorities instead!

Excellent customer service. Friendly staff. Food was excellent quality.

I honestly prefer this to KFC, the family bucket means are great value too.

Went to pick some food around 21:30 on 20/11/21, there was a guy and little kid was eating in next to the window, and there were two girls behind the counter, one new and other one seems to been their for some time, the one been their for sometime asked "you want any sauce, but the these people didn't hear it, because they were next to the window. And this woman whispered F...hell, with rolling eyes. . I always find the guys there seems to be ok, but these girls young girls who works, their Customer service is not acceptable at all. I don't know why the owner don't take any action!! It's like they doing the customer a favour, rather then welcoming the customer.

Food was very nice but ordered a piri piri meal deal with whole chicken fries and drink when food arrived there were no chips in bag so called the shop only to be called a liar and lady on phone said she had packed bag herself and the chips were there. She then proceeded to tell me if I wanted the missing item I should drive down there to collect them. I ordered a meal to be delivered and think all the items should have been delivered . I have ordered from here many times and food is always nice but on this occasion the customer service was lacking in a big way

The order was wrong and the chicken wasn’t cooked well, and I called to let them know they said they can’t do anything about what’a a joke

They cooked the chicken well. Always smiling for customers too....I think.

When having food delivered I would prefer delivery drivers to wear a mask otherwise food is okay.,

I had a minor dispute with the manager on front desk. He started raising his voice and escalated the situation into something it really didnt need to be. I left the food and walked away... Very unprofessional and i wont be returning.

Food average at best buy they always get my order wrong, I've eaten a few times with my family and constantly the order is incorrect. Must change if they want me to go back.

Usually mess up on the big orders , like don't include fries etc and discount codes don't work anymore

I've just got in from a 12 hr shift very hungry... Walking past Dixie chicken and I walk in at 11 15pm.......the new small girl that works there looked dead miserable and I could clearly see by the look on her face that she didn't want to serve anymore food cos it would of meant that they would have to cook some more.... Then she said can you get outside and I will take order from there.....Okay that's understandable cos of covid 19 but dont be rude and say it dead angry just because maybe she is stressed and tired.... So this as happened twice now too me so I will never go back while she works there. Shouldn't be angry at customers if your tired.

First of all we order from Dixy Chicken many times. We always get delivery so whenever food arrives raw we cannot take it back. So we end up refrying the chicken to cook it. As they say its not raw and they wont give a refund. Furthermore we order their apple pies amd they never have them in store so it should be taken off the menu. The first two times I ordered them, they gave me 2 doughnuts each time which cost 99p. So I should have been given either a 50p refund each time or another doughnut. As the apple pies cost £1.49 for 2 of them which is my usual purchase. The next two times I ordered the apple pies they just chose not to give me anything. So I'm owed £4 in total. They blatantly refuse to refund my money saying they did give me the correct order each time. I wont be buying from Dixy chicken ever again.

Nice size burgers. Freshly cooked. Friendly staff ... always nice to eat here. Far better than KFC.

Bit disappointed to be honest, went in this evening and ordered some food for the kids as well some chicken strips for myself. We were only eating just down the way from the shop and by the time I’d opened the box of chicken strips they were stone cold. So as it was so close I took them back which they then replaced with fresh ones (me thinking great these will be much better) open the box and once again stone cold. Won’t be returning It’s the simple things that matter

Ordered food three times with Dixy, the burger's, panini's were delicious each time. Fries were dry and hard once. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended.

Ordered a family meal Had newbies working there who messed up so noono fries with the meal and only gave 2 ketch ups stingy

The double sizzler was delicious. Crispy, flavoursome and juicy. Good value for money in my opinion.

Food tastes good but half the time good items always missing. I even write on the order to double check everything but things still get missed.

Polite staff, good size burger and good value. Menu is confusing to read though.

Took just under an hour for food to arrive, when the food did arrive, the order was wrong, chips were luke warm and very bland. Phoned up about the mistakes, took another 70 MINUTES! AN HOUR and 10 minutes! for the correct order to arrive. 2 hours in total. Absolute disgrace. Would rather spend my money somewhere else, would not recommend.

Ordered from dixys a few times. Ordered last night and my chicken was pink and absolutely disgusting. I now have food poisoning. Advise not to order from here. Will not be ordering again. Disgusting

Absolutely appalling the chips were soggy and my chicken was raw can not believe it I’m so glad I didn’t eat the chicken would of definitely got food poisoning really need to sort it out, I also had cheesy chips in the order which I didn’t order but not complaining but they were stuck together you could not even get the paper of them honestly I would avoid because it’s shocking!😒

Ordered 3 half peri peri chicken meals hot flavours and they send me mild flavours so when I phoned back and they dint believe me and said they will sort me out next time apsolutely disappointed with the service.

The food is great. Tasty and consistent, which is good for this sort of thing. The only thing that lets them down is advance orders. They struggle to get complicated orders right, and often struggle to meet agreed times, but frankly, I'd rather have that, and have well cooked, fresh, tasty chicken, so I'm still giving 4 stars, with the 5th in reserve for if they improve on their orders. Most of the staff and management, are friendly, and try to do their best to please you. This also counts for a lot in my book. As a final note, I will say they have one problem that a lot of chicken places seem to struggle with.....piri spiced/salted fries. Every place I ever eat at, seems to really struggle with the concept of offering this option and actually delivering it to the customer. All places seem to only remember or acknowledge the piri option about half the time. Even Nandos struggles with this sometimes...Dixy is no better in this respect.

Simply the best Spicy wings we ever tasted from any chicken shop, even better than the leading chain.

Incredible food, but the attitude of the staff is the reason they're getting a one star from me. We've spent over £1,000 with them over the last year. They started off very focused and caring. However, over the last 3 months or so, things started to take a turn for the worst. On a regular basis, certain food items are missed. Not just one item, multiple items at a time. The last straw for me was last Friday. Three items missing, we call them and they literally have no care in the world. I told them that they didn't deliver 3 items, they replied "ok", followed by silence, as if to say so what? I then asked them to bring these items asap, as to not spoil the rest of the meal. An hour later, yet nothing. I call them again and they pretend they don't know anything about my previous call. I then demand my money back, I told them forget the food, instead bring my money back to my house. They said ok. Never heard or seen anyone since. Don't trust these people, they literally have no care in the world. The people who answer the phones are like zombies. It's a great shame, as I genuinely rate the food more than it's counterparts. The service however, is non-existent.
