Yeti Nepalese Restaurant in Maidstone

Never again. The mutton curry was sooo disappointing got half a mug full of oil, no meat on the bones except gristle, not tasty not a lot of spice had it with egg fried rice which made it tasteless. Definitely not value for money. Not the quality of Nepalese restaurants ☹

Always great service and always delicious food. The chicken gizzards are really good (Bhuteko Pangra). This is a traditional Nepali dish, so that tells you this is an authentic Nepali restaurant. The restaurant is quite unassuming from the outside, so please do not be put off by the appearance. They serve authentic food at a very reasonable price.

Yati Nepalese Restaurant is a hidden gem for authentic Nepalese cuisine. I enjoyed their takeaway, and it was fantastic. The momos were perfectly steamed and packed with flavor, especially with the accompanying chutney. The noodles were delicious as well, showcasing great depth and authenticity. If you’re looking for a satisfying meal to enjoy at home, I highly recommend Yati!

We had a wonderful meal here and will definitely be back! The staff were very friendly and the food was really authentic. We loved the fried momo and thukpa especially :)

Been here couple of times and as always great service and delicious food in Maidstone. The momos and thali are the best it always satisfies my cravings haha! Also talking about the service, it’s quick,fresh and served hot. There is a young tall waitress with coloured hair to be specific she is so polite and friendly she also explains about the foods very well as I am a foreigner rather than the guy waiter to be honest(not to be rude). She was the one who introduced me about Nepalese food and recommended me which foods to try since then I love having my meals here in this restaurant. Keep up the good work Yeti :))

The best steamed chicken momos I have had. Nice chutney too.

Went in to grab a quick bite to take out as had parked outside. Small venue inside, clean and tidy. Young man serving was exceptionally polite and smiley. I ordered samosa chat starter. Food arrived hot 10 minutes later, packaged and ready to go. When ordering I'd explained I only had 15 minutes for parking and intended to eat on the go. Cutlery and napkins placed inside bag with food when I recieved it. Food was delicious. Spice balanced perfectly with yoghurt and chutney, would definetly recommend.

Love the momos, the choila and the native nepalese liquor. When I feel upto a challenge, I get the khursani momo on Sundays which is probably the spiciest food I've ever had! Love this place!

My friend was completely sick after having their food. We have ordered a bunch of things from daal, momos and chicken madras. The service was good. But not recommended.

The best Nepalese restaurant in Kent! The food is so delicious, and the service is amazing! We spoke with one of the chefs Pati to compliment her on her cooking and she told us that they cook with so much love and serve the same recipes which they eat at home! What impressed me the most is that they don’t add sugar to their meals unlike majority of Asian restaurants because they want to serve healthy meals to their customers! Very happy about that and highly recommend this little gem in Maidstone!

I've been a regular customer to Yeti for over a year now. The food is always good, and I travel half an hour to come here each time. The staff are very friendly and welcoming always.

Best food in Maidstone. Since trying this place for the first time on Uber eats I have ordered 3 times this week. Perfect for lunch and dinner. So fresh and so tasty. Spring rolls are a must, chow mein is so tasty and the curries are perfectly spiced. Will keep going back again and again

Update: I'm a regular customer of this place and slowly I order less and less, let me tell you WHY. So they seem to be going downhill with their cooking. If I order Mutton curry or any similar curry for delivery I will receive meat swimming in OIL hardly any sauce JUST OIL, unless I call and ask for food to be as it should be IN SAUCE not OIL, and then Seafood rise seem to be having less and less of so called seafood in your rise! Now look at the pic below of what a fantastic seafood rise they gave me yesterday, its a JOKE! NO seafood in it whatsoever NOT even one tiny prawn!!! I reckon they should stop CHEATING customers and ripping them off by selling plaine food promised of something else. That's NOT FARE on people who pay money!!!! It will be a while after this until I will order from them again, they kept disappointing me every single time and now its absolutely unacceptable. I assume you order your food from somewhere else from now on.... PS crispy pork belly comes with a TINY DROP of sauce which is enough for 2 pieces but NOT for the whole portion. Not nice at all.... AVOID AVOID AVOID

Fantastic authentic Nepalese food. Passed this by chance when looking for somewhere to eat after a long road trip and so pleased we went in. Food was amazing - the steamed momos were incredible - and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant and toilets were very clean too. It was a really delightful experience and would highly recommend.

Delicious food, omg the masala tea was incredible, one of the best I've ever had. The service was hit and miss but not for want of trying. They were quite busy went we visited and we were a large group. Definitely recommend.

Warmly place. Staff were friendly, good selection of vegan food which was nice and the drinks where tasty (also interesting/amusing if you don't drink the bubbled drinks often). Only thing I wasn't a massive fan of was the type of cheese they use, but that's just a personal preference. Apart from that, everything was great. Would def go back.

Very good nepali food! Reccomend anyone to go and try it out! Would recommend the aluu nimki and pork momo as their my favourite! Other dishes are amazing aswell! :)

the food is great and authentic , it reminds me of home, however the wait for the food is what made me rate it a 4 star. the drinks took about 30 minutes to come and the food 40 minutes. overall i would recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food, first time here and will be returning. My son and daughter in law who do live here will be visiting soon. The food was outstanding along with the service. Not having had Nepalese food before we were impressed with the different flavours and textures. Thank you for a fabulous night. You must try the flavoured bubble teas very refreshing.

First visit: Eat out to Help Out. Friendly waiter. Long wait for drinks (20 min) then food (1 hr) - not altogether clear why. Of the food, we enjoyed the chicken mo-mos.

Be prepared to be humbled, excited and fulfilled with superb Nepalese dishes. You could easily dismiss Yeti Restaurant as a takeaway just off the high street. I’m sure it gets most of its business through takeaway orders. It is indeed a restaurant, the upstairs area is testament to it. The walls are decorated in Nepalese paraphernalia; a knife, fork, napkin and flower decorate the cafe style tables. The interior may lack an abundance of light, but this more than made up for by the jovial personalities of the staff. The owner is a beautiful character, a laugh and a smile that is unforgettable. The menu has some of the best examples of Traditional Nepalese food that I have experienced. You have to try their Nepali Dhido thali, the buckwheat-esque porridge and complimentary small dishes are delicious.

Had an amazing prawn chowmein and bubble tea from here. So so yummy honestly no words

We always go here to get tasty Nepalese food. The staff are nice and accommodating and the cakes that we order are a big hit in our house. It is a small restaurant though so at certain busy times it can be hard to get a table.

Good Nepalese restaurant in Maidstone. The starters are very good, usually we end eating it and taking the mains as takeaway. Favourites are chicken gizzard, chicken liver, momos in starters. The mutton thali is good main courses. It comes with both rice and roti. And noodles. Desserts are awesome, favourite is banana pudding with honeycomb ice cream.

Delicious food (the curries especially), homely atmosphere with incredibly friendly staff. I have been here a few times now and it has yet to disappoint. Their prices are very fair too!
