Garlic garlic and more garlic!! We ordered a wild mushroom.linguini and a spaghetti carbonate. However all we could taste was garlic. Obviously the same sauce used for both! We left and just cannot get rid of the taste. So disappointing! More care is needed to improve the quality! Also the food just arrived too quickly. Finished in 45 minutes. The best part was our drinks!! Certainly would not recommend!!

A very pleasant evening and excellent service. Rachel went the extra mile double checking that the food was dairy free. Nothing was too much trouble. Food well presented , hot and tasty. We will certainly visit again next time we are at the Ovo Hydro.

Gets very busy on concert nights so booking is required. Service was great Stephen was especially attentive. Food was delicious very fresh and reasonably priced. Good choice of Chinese, Thai or Japanese. Wine was nice but Peroni a half pint was £3.15 but a pint was £6.45 odd we did ask the waiter but they couldn't explain the reason. We saw loads of people being turned away shame as some tables were empty all the time we were sitting there.

Terrible service . Arrived 5.40pm . Ordered drinks and food at 5.50 . No drinks or food by 6.30 . Had to go to bar to get my own drinks after asking waiter twice . No food and was told another 15 min before starters were coming . 4 other tables exact same round us .we all got up and left . They didn't even say sorry . . Food did not look good what I seen. Went last night 14/6/23 and opted for the Chinese side of things , i must admit to being confused by some of the negitive reviews as my experience was great , i got a bottle red wine , ribs , tempura prawns and a satay all was brilliant! Service my the lassie serving was great , i will definitely go back .

Having been let down by the restaurant in our hotel, the Routnda multi restaurant was able to accommodate us when we had no booking, Safety were friendly, polite. Food fresh and well cooked. Vibrant and busy atmosphere and value for money. The only let down was no dessert available.

It’s food at rapier like delivery, I think I was putting a fork of food in my mouth and the fork wasn’t there ? You can’t have relaxing food in this place if you tried. Conveyor belt would be doing it a favour.

Without doubt the worst ‘Asian/fusion’ food I have ever eaten. Zero presentation…a dogs dinner would describe it. Dry chicken. Prawn curry smothered in a gelatinous sauce. Cabbage covered in a sugary syrup. I could go on! Avoid at all cost!!

Dropped in here before our concert. Sign said they were booked up but the place was beyond empty. The server went to ask amd they said they could squeeze us in. I wish she hadn't. We ordered from the Chinese food menu. I wish we hadn't. I ordered sweet and sour chicken I wish I hadn't. The chicken was dry and really hard and difficult to cut. The pieces were massive and unwieldy. I hardly ate any of it amd spent the rest of the night with a really sore tummy and thinking I was going to be sick. It was awful. I do not recommend this place at all. It ruined the end of a brilliant night and cost a small fortune too. STEER CLEAR

Was looking for somewhere to eat whilst at the Hydro and had never been in thr Rotunda before - needless to say its the first and last time. You order at the table from the app, including drinks, which is normal these days, but its the worst app system I have came across and not user friendly at all. You also need to pay up front and was like ordering a takeaway from Just Eat - not a good resteraunt type experience. Also there was a £1.50 service charge and then another option for giving gratuities - this all before you get any food!!! The service was actually good and the staff very nice, however this was the worst food I have ever had in Glasgow centre. Ordered Chicken fried rice which was little sticks of burnt Chicken soaked in Soya with a bowl of takeaway type fried rice in the middle. Also had Salt and Chill Prawns and chips. Prawns were good, however as with the rice dish. someone must have poured a whole cup of salt over everything its was that bad. Chip, cheap frozen type. Total cost, just over £32.00, would have been better getting a burger & chips at the Hydro!!

Really disappointed! We were in the Rotunda about 5 years ago and had one of the best meals ever in the Greek restaurant which I remember being on the top floor, so we took friends along last weekend before seeing a show at the Hydro. Unfortunately, it was a very different experience this time. It seems that all cuisines are offered on all floors. It was explained when we arrived that food would arrive at different times but we hadn’t appreciated quite the difference in times ! Anyway it wasn’t great - our friends had finished their meal and ours hadn’t arrived. Food was ok but nothing fantastic. Staff were all friendly enough. I was really sad especially after the meal we had here last time !!
