I order from these guys regularly and it’s always fresh, hot, well balanced and delicious. I’m confused by some of the negative reviews as I’ve found the food consistently brilliant. Looking forward to my next meal from them!

I had a special chow mein very salty, oily. meat was fat .not nice. Husband had a set meal curry to hot no taste. very disappointed

Mostly just ok. The pancake roll is described as “pork, chicken & shrimp.” In reality, it tastes like an unseasoned pancake roll filled only with bean sprouts! Disappointing and makes you feel ripped off. The rice tastes like it’s bottom of the barrel quality rice (which is probably is) because they are penny pinching on ingredient costs (also not putting any meat in the pancake roll saves them a pretty penny too).

Even though the place is literally 2 min walk away from my house, after a long wait, the food arrived cold! Not completely cold, but there is no excuse - it should be easiest delivery of the night! I should not need to microwave the noodles and be putting the spring rolls in the air fryer. Not good enough! Noodles just ok, spring rolls were bland, but I don’t expect anything to improve after losing a lot of confidence with this order. Sort your delivery infrastructure out!

I am so disappointed I have had a couple of lovely meals from you but last night it turned up luke warm. The sauces tasted watered down. The plum sauce was missing from the pancakes, massive chunks of cucumber and no spring onion. The crispy beef wasn’t crispy and the chicken balls were so over done they were on the verge of being called burnt. Unfortunately it was late so we had to make do. I spent nearly 70 pounds last night as had friend round and have asked for a refund through the app.

Food was delivered on time and was hot & tasty, only 2nd time using this place, don’t have takeaway very often, but will definitely be ordering here again!

Food is small and chicken balls are tiny and so expensive inless your rich like they think every one is after spending £40 had to then buy prawn crackers and lady rude worst thing is I'm skint now 😭😭

Food was delivered within the delivery time given, never used this place before, only ordered chicken fried rice & sweet & sour sauce (I have had some soggy rice from other places) I will definitely order again and try other stuff on the menu

When I placed the order at roughly 17.15 it said that delivery was going to be between 18.15 and 18.35, at 18.40 when I checked to see if it was on its way the app informed me that my food had been delivered, which was not true, I made contact and was told that my new delivery time was 18.50, it finally arrived at 18.55, my food was cold, and mediocre at best.

Not bad, but very unusually it needed more salt! It’s the first time I’ve ever added salt to a Chinese takeaway meal. Pretty basic thing to forget. Needed more umami flavour too I guess you forgot the msg and the salt too? Needs more soy Udon should have plenty of soy sauce and umami flavour.

Order came on time all food hot and tasty. Always good value will be ordering again thank you.

Order went through at 18:44 and food arrived at 20:17. I get it’s the weekend but the restaurant is less than 2 miles away and twice Just Eat changed the expected delivery time. First from 19:15 hrs to 19:40-20:00 then after I rang the restaurant via the app at 20:10 it changed to 20:20 suggesting that the restaurant reacted rather than processing my order earlier. I paid for delivery and a service charge on top yet 1.5 hours to deliver locally is a poor service and unacceptable in my opinion.

This restaurant always does lovely food but they never deliver on time. It is always at least 30 minutes late. There is no point booking a time if they can’t deliver it in time. This really lets them down. Since their last driver left it has really gone downhill

One of the worst Chinese I’ve had in a long time! 20 mins late and was awful and cost £18.20 for one person. Never again.

Lovely Chinese decorations. Really good food. I would give it five but once I got delivery it ages to come.

Took 1hr 40mins to arrive which was over the estimated time, and certainly wasn't worth the wait. The food was cold, and the dishes half empty. The chicken and cashew had 5 nuts; what little chicken there was, was dry and over cooked; and the rest was just large pieces of onion - the worst chicken and cashew dish I've ever ordered. Even the crispy seaweed dish was no where near full. Never again.

I usually have my food delivered. The delivery guy is always nice and polite. The food is always lovely and it’s a value for money.

No communication from them until I pressed for help. The garlic chilli chicken pieces were very rubbery and dry. By the time it arrived I was past being hungary so only ate a small amount. There was no apology from the driver for the lateness either. Overall very disappointed.

didn't seem to have enough time to even cook it before it was sent out for delivery! maybe meals are ready made and just warmed ? didn't enjoy sweet an. sour but others was ok wouldn't order again !

Half my order missing never to be repeated

I’m a regular customer of yelling yin but I have to say after paying £18 for my delivery the food arrived 25 minutes late and when opened it up and plated it the food was nearly cold and had to pick the paper of the curry and chips which I gave up doing so most chips in bin had to heat in micro wave for a minute but after a couple of mouthfuls I ended up binging it all so waste of money Would have given half a star for this food and service

First time we've had food from here, and it was really tasty. Portion size adequate but not huge. Large rice portion just does 2 folks who are not nega hungry. Delivery was almost on time ..but was a few minutes late... Not a major issue. As we like our food piping hot, we gave it a wee blast in the microwave... But it was delivered medium hot. Definitely use again. 👍🏻🙂

Disappointing food. I ordered duck chow mein, beef and brocoli and salt and pepper tofu. The food was all very oily, and the salt and pepper tofu was overcooked and tasteless as well as dripping oil. I wouldn't recommend.

Lovely meal - the deep fried chicken in plum sauce and the pork and prawn dumplings were our favorites. Very friendly delivery driver and super convenient for us in Sea Mills. We look forward to ordering again soon!

Pancake rolls were very greasy to greasy to eat. Curry sauce was delicious and the rest of food ok.

Special curry advertised as having pork, chicken and beef. Not one piece of pork in it - This is not an isolated incident. The Salt and Pepper ribs were overcooked tough and dry - again not an isolated incident.

The food is good here. But when you order for delivery. The food is always very very late. Average wait for us is around 1:30-2hrs

The food was lacking ; the satay tofu was loaded with onion and green pepper and had no taste at all. The Ma Po tofu was also poor in taste and quality.

Wouldnt give it the 1 star really rubbish service took 1 hour 10 mins to get my food for the chips to be solid so rang to get this sorted to have not even a partial refund and to have to wait for my chips to be re done which by time i actually got them the rest of my food was cold do not order from this place

Genuinely disappointing. The dishes we ordered didn't taste anything like they should. The beef in black bean sauce was extremely salty, had an 'off' taste, and Sesame prawn toast was soggy as well. Bad experience.

I'm going to be honest. Not sure if they were having an off night because I've only had it once before but the food was not good. The beef in black bean sauce was so watery it flooded my plate. The chips were anemic and hard, curry sauce was cold. Dont think we will order again

Fancied a takeaway and all the traffic chaos on the M48 bridge made it impossible to use our regular one in Chepstow. Food and service was excellent, the order process is quick and simple. No more trecking over the bridge as we will definitely use Yelling Yins again

Food ordered, same as usual. It's now 25 minutes past the delivery time and no delivery - What the ???? Currently I have no mobile phone signal due to weather conditions - so can't speak to the restaurant. This is extremely unusual for this restaurant.

Had food from there before was fantastic this time curry was like water no taste and cold my rice was cold and my food had know taste

My chicken udon noodles were lovely, I highly recommend getting them! But my other half said that his Singapore chow mein was abit dry and would have like it with abit more sauce/juiciness, other than his little moan everything was lovely!

Been meaning to try this place for a while. Should have done earlier, the Thai Red Curry was fantastic. A new favourite place.

Prices are good, food taste delicious. I went there on Chinese New year. I would definitely go there again sometime. Free on road parking Container food came in is useful with a lid. Photo of chicken chop suey.🙂
