Love love love the food is fantastic and the Service is amazing

Something wrong with the sausages... Very strange texture and tough,never had one like it. Guessing it had been out a long time maybe... 😑 two normal and one battered. The batter seemed fresh enough but the sausage left a truly bad sensation in the mouth 👄

Excellent food with great service ever time. Go in every other week and have never had problems with their food or service.

I'm only down for the night for work, wanting something quick to eat came across this takeaway and ordered special chow main special foo young and salt and pepper chip took it back to hotel each dish was still hot and lovely to eat if down again will be ordering again

Was quite a busy night when I came in but my order was taken promptly, didn’t have to wait long. Food is exactly as I expected from a Chinese, piping hot and particularly enjoyed the crispy duck. Chow mein was also banging! You can tell everything was prepared and made fresh. Polite and great customer service.

We travel from the other side of Bristol as this is the best by far. Always fresh, tasty and hot. Staff always happy and helpful. Highly recommend. We’ve been coming here for years.

Probably the worse Chinese takeaway I have ever used and the most expensive with the smallest portion size. I have had some chinese takeaways in my times. The sweet & sour sauce was disgusting taste. I asked how many chicken balls you got. 9 the lady said. I asked for 10 as there were 2 of us and we didn't want the rice chips options that came with it. But no we got 9. Most of the dishes were £8. The foil trays were very small and very bland taste. Definitely will not be going back to this chinese REPLY TO OWNER I have no intention to delete my honest review. I would have come back with my food. But Cumberland Road closed at 6.45. Half of my food went in the bin. I did ask the lady for an extra chicken ball as we didn't want the rice or chips. But ended up with 9. If you improved your ratings then your hard times may improve too

First time in Bristol and wanted to have some Chinese for the night. Friendly staff and nice food. Food was hot and delicious, portion sizes were decent too. Will return again when we are in Bristol next time!

I ordered barbecue spare ribs the barbecue sauce was like water very runny not sticky like barbecue spare rib’s should be. As for the meat and taste No taste to it at all not nice. Straight in the bin never again..

Love a Curry Sauce and Chips before the match. Good price. Really tasty food. Good service especially from the young chap. Been here multiple times on match day and can never fault. Always had a good portion of food!

Just thought i would leave an honest review regarding my experience. First and last time eating from this establishment. The chips were cold and not freshly cooked. They were rock solid and had that cooked and re-cooked taste. They had a horrible smell to them as they were cooked in palm oil. The curry sauce tasted old and was the worst I've tasted, lukewarm and when emptied from their pots resembled 2 neat sandcastles. I tried to mush them down into the chips to soften them but it didn't work. The spring roll was saturated in oil and mushy and had a strange taste. Poor food, service and communication. My complaint wasn't taken seriously and a staff member refused to refund and hung up on me as I left it too long to complain and i didn't return with the food. I've been a chef for 25 years and wouldn't dream of serving food of this standard or being rude to my customers. I'm unable to recommend this place.

One of the very best Chinese meals I’ve had from a high street take away. Will not hesitate to return.

Cheap fish & chips with a good selection of Chinese too. Easy to order much more food than needed. Lovely staff.

So yummy!!!! We are big people so we ordered lots of food and it was all delicious!! We finished every bite! The chips are perfect and the battered sausages were fantastic. Huge pieces of fish too. We will try the Chinese food next time. The lady working there was lovely too xxx

Better than posh fish n chips and they do a decent chinese!

Could not recommend this Chinese enough, the staff are super friendly and accommodating and the food is fantastic!! I have had many Chinese takeaways over the years and these guys stand out by country mile, their food is cooked fresh which you can see and tastes exceptional every time. Recommended to friends and family over the years who are now regular customers. Also must comment on their ribs!! Absolutely delicious, the sauce they use and the ribs compare to no other - no fat and extremely meaty and they give you so many that the lid doesn't even fit!!! would highly recommend this as an addition to any order. If I could give more than 5* then I would.

Never ever done this before - I am not a complainer. This was our first Chinese takeaway in a very long time. Buy local. So excited! It was vile! The chicken cashew had obviously been made with frozen chicken. There was no flavour at all. Horrible wilted veg. The chill beef - did that come from a supermarket? You know when you cook the beef and add the sauce? Actually.... we bought a supermarket ready meal from a Chinese takeaway for twice the price - and the prawn crackers were stale!

Lovely big piece of cod, cooked to perfection and sold with a smile and thank you (unlike the other chip shop nearby).

Absolutely love this chip shop. Best one on North street. The chips are delicious and plentiful. Cod big and succulent. The curry dishes I've tried have been lovely too. Good prices here for beautiful food. Friendly staff also.i couldn't recommend willow garden enough. I wouldn't go anywhere else now

Me encanta esto para llevar. La señora que lo maneja siempre es amable y sonriente, aunque a veces debe ser muy fría. El chow mein especial es siempre muy bueno.

Very good food cooked in front you. I particularly like the Singapore chow mein. The family are always very friendly. I wold recommend highly, Good fish and chips too.

I’ve lived 5 min walk for 15 + plus it used to be a good chippy back in the day, saying that I remember times of having 24 hrs old chips so hard o had to chuck all away I was only little and starving would earn my own money so was gutting I’ve stull bought since the other day and I can honestly say I’ll. ever go back, this time I was given old greesy spring roll and old chips mixed from the night before mixed with dinner time chips this was in the evening 🤮 I chucked the lot away once again I have many stories all bad if you like it then you like it o wouldn’t dare trust the meat, one day my elderly mum asked if that had fresh chips in the lady told my mum to go to the English

only gets one star because my husband ate his curry, I tasted it - not nice. I had crispy chilli beef or should I say chewy beef in vinegar, I had a little bit but I've just been sick. Really greasy chips. Yuck yuck yuck, never going there again 🙁

Very cheap but unfortunately you get what you pay for. Bottom of the barrel chips, a sad looking fish... disappointed.
