Looks a lovely pub from the outside. Once inside very rude staff and bad attitude .Walked straight out

Just to inform you about a load of smashed glass outside and around your pub, my dog has almost cut her paws open.

Service was very polite.Drinks were good.Pub seems to be very clicky if you are a stranger.Lovely fire burning away.Ladies toilets were quite dirty which isn't good though.

Awful pub. Astronomical prices. £9.50 for a double gin and tonic. So that was Gordon's gin, served in a half pint glass. Sunday afternoon... disco music blaring, toilets smelled rancid and the place was empty. I wonder why !!

Absolutely disgusting dirty bar. 😤 never again if I could give minus plus I would. How is it even allowed to stay open? Very rude landlady.

Large pub on the market place. Yet again it is a Bass outlet on hand pump. Very noisy disco pub on this Sunday. Had a quiz earlier and thumping music and flashing lights still going at 7pm. Big outside area courtyard, much of it covered.

Very cold and not welcoming. Alright if you like watching drunks falling over on the slanted floor. Not very clean.

Good old fashioned pub you know the place. Beers kind of cheap, there a drunk retired man in the corner and the table has a weird stickyness to it.

To be honest a bit of a dump, beers not bad that's about it, when you come out of there , you feel you need a shower

Called in yesterday lunchtime (Wed 12 Jun 2019). Of the three hand pumps, two were Bass (of which only one was working) and the other was meant to be Doom Bar but the badge was turned round.

Proper old boozer. Just a quiet night.

If you're waiting for a place to sit and die and wait to meet your maker then this is the place for you! Crammed to the walls of 60+ year olds just begging to be brought a drink and hey you may as well meet your maker happy right....right.....guys?? Food is ok but if you order a steak and want it rare you'd better ask for it straight off the cow as they always seem to be one step more than you asked....staff are happy enough even if it is to forget the purgatory of their life's

Been a few times now and it is either dead or absolutely packed it's just a coin flip which one you get

They allow dogs in and you can bring your own food,beer usually good (not this time)

I like its a good old fashioned pub

Went into the bar the other day there was no body around until I went out the back and there's was a load of loud youngsters someone who I knew but they didn't know me because they hadn't seen me for a while was also underage. Needs to get its act together and remember not to serve under 18's!

This pub has a dodgy reputation and is very down beat
