Again to be clear. The serving team does a very good job. Attentive and Professional. Always it's clean. Range is very limited, poorly thought out Junk food menus. Could and should do so much better. Plastic cholesterol junk food. Any motorway cafe across Europe does so much better. Rail stations too. Equipment forever breaks down. Poor preventive maintenance. Poor planning. Poor group management. Uttoxeter Store staff are good, doing a great job. Let down by Cowboy Group Management and lack of support. Good Staff leave. Some healthier foods, and better equipment preventive maintenance getting a grip? Store team 5 stars. Costa 2. Costa needs to really up its game. Cowboy outfit. It should be so much better. Get a Chef review, what is possible? Could sell more and be more. Costa lot for not a lot. Costa innovate for God's sake. Support the stores. Look at the competition. Are you mentally wrapped in Missionary opposition? At least try face up. Could be so much better.

Could not believe how bad there service is . There was only me and one other at the till . But I made to wait why the staff was chatting away to the person Infront of me who already got their drink . And then once I finally got to give my order the man behind the till wasn't listening properly as I had to repeat my self multiple times what drinks I wanted and then once the drinks was done they don't get drink correct which I reminded them and what really annoyed me was every woman that orded a drink was ask if they take a seat he would bring to them . I wasn't offered that and made to wait at the till for my drinks . And all he could do was laugh and apologize which I don't think is funny . Not a good look for Costa . It felt like I'm discriminated because I'm a man because he manages to get everything correct for women and offer table service .

Terrible service, the last two occasions the staff would rather chat to each other or friends behind you in the queue than actually serve you.

Always helpful and considerate, spend more time there than the Carter's Square place. Possibly that the tea is subsidised to a pound. State of furniture is abysmal

Coffee is always good but at times the crockery is poorly cleaned and looks dirty.

It’s pretty standard as Costa’s inside another store go (it could do with a spruce-up, as others have said), but the main credit to here is the friendliness of the staff. They greet you with a smile, will talk to you and the coffee is always nice too.

Appalled at the state of the trays which hadn't been washed for several days and also the cutlery.I should have complained but more surprised that other people hadn't noticed. Very polite staff and although busy fairly quick service but cleanliness definitely needs attention.

Good for a quick coffee but it could be improved

It's a Costa without the atmosphere. Same drinks and food, but it's missing that something that you find in a Costa Coffee shop. Staff are brilliant.

Great coffee and great staff. Prices are fairly standard, but I do agree the outlet does need a good refurbishment as it is looking a bit worn, but it is still a great place to grab a coffee or snack!

Great staff, always friendly even when very busy ... always accommodate my strange requests (I do like my coffee extra hot, some baristas say they can't go above 140 degrees ... it burns the milk, health and safety issue -even though they server Americano at a temperature hotter than the sun ... blah blah blah) Annoys me that at Uttoxetter the dopey folk don't realise that "Costa etiquette" is to queue in a line in front of the "chillers" or whatever they are called - arrows on the floor required ! Keep up the good work !

Well basically costa is over priced and not as good . I have had dirty tea cups and not enough milk which was a disapointment. It maybe a big chain but it aint worth it . Costa lotta coffee
