Real disappointment. Was looking forward to the takeaway as had seen the other reviews raving about the restaurant. Unfortunately the onion bhaji was burnt and in edible but worst of all the curry was bland and the chicken was dry. Wont be ordering again!

We ate at Yasmins on the 22nd September. Our favorite midweek venue, We had pompadoms and dips, 4 starters, 4 mains, rice and nans, all the food was well cooked and presented, Service was efficient and good humoured. Taking your own Beers/Wines helps with the cost, The bill was for £77. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The TripAdvisor address is “Loughborough) not a problem for us but could be confusing. Highly recommended. Paul Reynolds.

I started at Gateway Grammer school in 1970. A classmate, Will, is organising a re-union for June next year. This was a reunionette with another class-mate, Andy, who lives quite close to this restaraunt. The food was very nice, The shammi kebabs were delicate and tasty. I tried some of Will's onion Bhaghi, this was saucer shaped rather than the usual sphere. Once again it was better than the average (Boo-boo). My main was a Lamb Tikka Tawa, new to me, I can throw caution to the winds sometime so long as it involves Lamb. I would say the menu is fairly standard Indian, but I'm always on the lookout for something unusual. Tthe Tawa is cooked in a shallow frying pan, they put on a mat on the table. Pillau rice excellent and the plain Nan had a subtle sweet taste to it. Yes, I have fallen in love with this place, quite small but in the centre of Sileby. It is very close to Sileby station so handy for anyone from Leicester or Loughborough, unlicenced but there is a well known supermarket next door with Real ale and wine, the place provides glasses. Will and Andy enjoyed their meals too.

I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life, I was out dining with my sister to be sat next to a group of individuals who constantly made sexual references towards us throughout our time there. I had to request to move table. The staff were then insistent in confronting the man who made the sexual remarks towards me who even attempted to kick me at one point and ‘sort him out’, I said this was unnecessary as I just wanted to have a nice night and avoid awkwardness. I was told it was his restaurant and he had to sort it out. We were then confronted by the male who was making sexual remarks and he actually sat with us whilst we were eating when I told him I didn’t want him there. This really ruined the night and was exactly what I was trying to avoid. He then accused us of lying and made us even more uncomfortable. Management then chose to ignore this and allowed it to happen! So much for ‘sorting it out’. Because of this, we then ate as quickly as possible to avoid anymore confrontation and conflict. As we walked out the door the same group of rude men shouted at us! Unfortunate as the food was great but will not be returning after being made to feel like this.

Dripping in grease; tasteless food. No mango or dips with poppadoms as I was advised they'd ran out. This was a collection order, which they'd messed up. The food was really poor, with a nasty aftertaste. Watery, oily vegetarian dish. Chips like cardboard. Wouldn't visit again

Food was amazing, some great new tastes. Arrived piping hot at the table, really enjoyed it and will visit again. The staff need a good shaking, you have to keep asking for things, they just are not attentive . Took ages to take our order, had to ask for napkins, extra popadoms didn’t come with the meal despite being ordered, dessert menu never arrived. Just not great which spoils a great place to eat, they lost out on extra food being sold. Get the service right and this place would be amazing! Come on guys you’ve got a good thing here. Will be visiting again.

We visited here on 11/10/17 as a party of 7 work colleagues. My colleagues have ate here before and recommended it. The restaurant is small but as it was a Wednesday night it was very quiet. They don't sell alcohol but there is a Tesco express next door that does. We had popperdoms to start with and all had varying main courses with naan breads. The food was very tasty and the service was very good. I would definitely visit again if in the area

. . . . . . No impresiona mucho.

Everytime we come here it's better and better. Whether we pip down and sit in or order takeaway. I have no idea why I ever went to other curry houses in the past when the best one was more or less on our doorstep. I challenge any curry house in charnwood to prove they are better quality at the price it's given. Fantastic. Please don't ever change!

You might expect us to be loyal to our local but we live just 7 miles from Leicester, so when it comes to curry, we're spoilt for choice, yet we regularly return to Yasmins. We've just enjoyed another excellent King prawn Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka Dansak, so we're happy to recommend it.

Local to us, Yasmin's is a great Indian restaurant. It serves good quality food in a traditional Indian restaurant environment. Having studied in Bradford for a few years, I'm a big curry fan and I think Yasmin holds its own with the good traditional restaurants. They no local have a licence to serve alcohol so you can take your own drinks, which keeps the cost down and if you've forgotten your drinks a tesco express is just next door. You can also park in the tesco car park behind the restaurant for ease. The staff are happy to make your curry to your preferred strength to so just ask.

Popped in after visiting the local shop to order a take away. Restaurant totally empty, staff gave menu and hurried us for selection. Ordered food to be delivered as wanted to put all shopping away, was told an hour but came after about 40mins. Food was quite cool, Curtis were extremely watered down and runny. Lack of taste of some. . Such a shame as live in the same village, maybe ours was on an 'off day' as other reviews highly rate it! Not one place I'd be visiting or ordering from again tho.

Seems to have gone downhill a little bit recently IMO. The buffet is nowehere near what it used to be and has very limited choice considering it isn't exactly cheap. Being spoilt for choice in Leics for curry houses probably doesn't help but it just doesn't appeal anymore. Still not bad but not very memorable.

Yasmin's is a great little village curry house in Sileby (not Loughborough!), run by Abdul James, who has served this village well for many years. Now a 'Bring Your Own' restaurant it's definitely worth a visit if you are local. One tip, and it's personal taste really; I always ask for 'reduced salt' in my dishes as the chef can be a bit generous with the seasoning and I find it does allow the true flavour of the dish to come out.Great take-away and delivery service too.

I've been to many restaurants in the East Midlands area and this I have to say is one of the best. It may not be the biggest place but the food and the service more than make up for it. Every time we come to eat here, we know we'll leave content. The menu is very reasonably priced and the bring your own alcohol works well with tesco just a minute away. We'll definitely be returning here to our favourite restaurant.

We have frequented Yasmin's on many occasions, it is our local Indian restaurant, the food has always been amazing every time we have eaten there, you are never rushed to leave your table, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful especially James the head waiter who is always attentive every time we attend. The food is excellent value for money and beautifully presented, your personal requirements on taste and flavour can always be accommodated without any hassle. You can now also take your own drink which is a bonus, and if you don't want to go out to eat order a takeaway for free delivery - the food is just as good.

Great quality ''no fuss'' Indian & Bangladesh cuisine. Great Value. Good Quality food at a reasonable price. Alcohol is not served here - but you can take your own. Soft drinks are available. We have been here many times and have never had a bad meal. Good Service, & nothing is too much trouble. It has a fairly basic decor - it is not 'plush'...but the most important thing is the food which is very good. There is a takeaway delivery service too (free!) - which is very popular with locals.
