Guessing from the earlier reviews that this used to be an Asian restaurant. But it has now changed to a dessert cafe that also serves sandwiches, bagels and more. Tried the New York pastrami bagel which was freshly made. Really good to taste with the right mix of cream cheese, pickle, mustard and pastrami. Didn’t try the deserts but there a huge variety of them on the menu: waffles, crepes, cakes and ice creams Need to make another visit to try them out.

nobody manning front counter the first time i went inside, i got a menu and went out to peruse it was told to look at menu on justeat.com. by a rude member of staff. when i returned to order again nobody manning the counter, had to tap on the glass to get their attention, i ordered food and was told ten minutes. i returned after 10 minutes and waited 5 minutes before being acknowledged, and the food was another 7 minutes to arrive. very slow service for microwaved food. this is with no other customers waiting, god knows what it would be like when busy. Food is of very poor quality, tough dry overcooked chicken, from the microwave on microwaved rice/noodles. the beef dish which was ordered was hot on the outside and stone cold on the inside. charged extra for some vegetables and could overhear people in the kitchen, very unprofessional. SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE SOMEONE MANNING THE FRONT COUNTER AT ALL TIMES WITHOUT FAIL the prawn crackers were pre packaged and not freshly cooked on the premises, the chop sticks are the cheapest i have ever seen the fork is also of equal low quality, chilli sauce and soy sauce in pre packaged sachets, nothing is fresh here, staff didnt give a crap about the customer. Authentic asian?? pfft, close this crap down and get a proper Chinese here. this restaurant is an insult to Asian food.

I tried the hoisin beef, with rice and extra salad - although I couldn't actually finish the portion as it was so filling, I enjoyed it immensely! I'm not a particularly adventurous eater so for me this was something a bit different, and I'm really glad I tried it. Would definitely go back to try a different combination.

Very disappointed to find out that the food is cooked via microwave; also according to their website (franchise section) it isn't even cooked/prepared on premises.

We went in just after the opening weekend, the guy behind the counter told us. I thought the food behind the counter was just for show but that was it! I ordered a large noodle box and this involved throwing some cold veg and cold sauce over some cold noodles in a box, weighed to make sure the portion was right, then microwaving them. This cost me about £7. The food tasted Ok(ish), but for £7 I’d want properly freshly cooked food. I won’t be going back.

As a vegan, takeaways can be tricky and often bland, but YamYam's vegan option was delicious! Can't wait for the Northampton branch to open!

Tried the Wolverton place tonight and can't say I was blown away by it. Hubs went to collect around 6.30ish and found only 1 person serving. They'd run out of teriyaki so the guy had to go make up more and of course then there was no-one else to serve. On its opening night, on a Saturday too, there should have been 2 people to serve. We had 2 medium teriyaki chicken with noodles which were £4.95 each and only half filled - fine for a snack but if you want a main meal, go for a large. Also disappointed that this isn't fresh. It's all pre prepared and heated up in a microwave so the noodles were squishy and the chicken a bit rubbery. So I think it has much to do to improve before it competes with places like Eastern Express and becomes more than a 3* takeout.

We visited Chopstix as we’d tried the chain elsewhere and thought it would be a quick option whilst shopping. This was not a quick option.... I wanted to be able to say that this branch was as good as the others we’d tried, however, the queue was long and the two ladies at the till/drinks fridge seemed intent on finishing their personal conversation- much to the chagrin of the poor lady serving the food. I put in our order- one rice base, one noodles, there were so many noodles in my rice, I should’ve just asked for noodles. Out of the two ‘toppings’ I chose, neither were available. I enquired with the chef as to how long I would have to wait for the beef and he just stared at me disdainfully and shrugged. My partner wanted the Thai red chicken- also unavailable so we were then limited and ended up paying extra for options which weren’t our first choice. In total, in my medium box, I received 7 pieces of chicken for £8.50. In my partners box, he had 5 pieces of chicken and 4 prawns for £8.50. When we paid, the women at the til were still chatting and I had to ask twice for drinks. The floor was covered rice and chicken bones, the tray had greasy gunk underneath when I carried it back to the table and the place was so crowded that I gave up queuing to complain after 10 minutes of standing waiting. All in all this was a disgusting, expensive meal. I wish I’d gone to five guys instead

Have used this takeaway for 15 years the above title is my favourite and have never found a comparable dish at any other Indian. Ali (the boss) is a top guy. As the reviews say the food is great but will take an hour to get to you. Just assume it’ll be an hour and half and order early it’s worth the wait.
