Sizzling Grillz in Milton Keynes

Good food, great service, and a quiet place just next to MK station. A must try.

Ordered my usual grilled chicken and peri chips. Ate the meal, 30 mins later I was seating on the toilet. The next morning I was still purging my ass out! Something went wrong this time Sizzling Grill! I hate to write such review but this shouldn’t be a paying customer’s experience!

Mixed Kebab with Naan. This is my all time favorite in this spot. Also don't miss trying their lamb biriani lunch combo 😋

Today we ordered Lamb Karahi and Tarka Daal unfortunately its so bad and too much butter on Tarka Daal and lamb karahi was so worst karahi we ever had test before

Terrible experience. Ordered two chicken biryanis and they were soo spicy (essentially curry mixed in rice ). Not really a biryani. Asked for a refund and was told that they would sort something out next time despite me telling them I can't eat it ! Don't expect any refunds here if you don't like the food you just have to deal with it and trust me there won't be no next time.

Visited this place after 10+ years. Lunch combo back in 2014 was GBP5 , now in 2025 it's GBP 8.50 , not much costlier compared to the time passed by.... The taste is still authentic Pakistani and amazing!!

The most disgusting food I've ever had. The naan bread was undercooked, essentially raw. The lamb tasted off. We complained and they refused to take it back or replace it. We were told that the food was OK. Rude waiters stared at us whilst eating. They couldn't care less. The floor was sticky and the tables and cutlery were dirty. The only good thing was that we sneaked in alcohol. Ha ha. Don't come here if you want a decent meal. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

Very bad experience and I had to leave a review as I don’t want others to be disappointed like me. The briyani was just white rice mixed with gravy, and the kids’ meal had frozen fish fingers, not fresh at all. Most of the other food we ordered tasted poorly—I couldn’t eat more than 10 spoons and left the rest. When I told the staff the food was bad, they didn’t care, and I still had to pay full price. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Not friendly for kids unless you want to order frozen food.

I ordered my food from them the biryanis was good, haleem was not as it supposed to be. What really disappointed me was the peshawari naan which was stuffed with sweet halwa and I have no idea where they got this idea from to name this bread as Peshawari naan. Peshawari naan is long and plain. You really spoil my whole food with this naan.

Best place for Indian foods. Lamb briyani, masala with rice is really tastes well. King prawn is average only. Been a regular customer now.

Best lunch meal you'll get locally around the mk station

I should have read the reviews... I went to this place hesitantly after seeing a 3.6-star score on here, but some of the reviews were also really good and location was useful whilst traveling. I went for Peri Peri chicken and it actually tasted really nice. But about 10 minutes after starting to eat I felt uncomfortable stomach cramps and shortly after that I had to run to the hotel bathroom and be quite violently ill. For that reason I can only award it 1 star. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the food seemed to taste quite good, and the prices weren't unreasonable. The place was quite dirty around it and clearly hygiene isn't high on the agenda. A shame really.

Non-pretentious place, Very nice and kind staff. The portions were huge and spicy and tasty. Very good price. Would recommend and will return when possible.

Great interior and design Wait time was 5 to 10 minutes food was delicious. Parking Is hard recommend Parking down at the station side. Staff were very friendly Interior had two tvs for children to enjoy while watching TV. Would recommend to friends and family

Nice place to eat with a very nice lamb tandoori starter. I went here last year while visiting MK and found good food at a good price. When I was in town recently I was happy to eat here again.

Used to be good but not anymore. Buyer beware the Food Hygiene rating is 3 but one displayed on the door is 4 which is probably their old rating.

I ordered Paneer tikka roll Just now I received without any sauces it was not good I didn’t eat because i likes with sauce they didn’t give any sauce with it staff need to take care of it because i paid my money for that and if you get like that so it is very bad please take care of that otherwise roll was okay but without sauce it’s not nice

Salad is not good .. it’s came bad smell .. dips are not good.. doner is burn .. I can’t eat .. totally waste of money

we ordered 3 naan’s, all of which were raw. The flour was so thick on the outside that no one could eat anything. Very dissapointed they are normally very good so this was a shock. Wouldnt order again.

I don't know why so many people leave such bad reviews, I think the only good food for them is Macdonald's. Because of all these bad reviews I was hesitating to go and try but every time I was passing by it smelled amazing so I went and tried. The staff was very friendly and they helped me to choose exactly what I was fancy and the food was delicious and tasted exactly how I expected. I had a mixed grill with rice and fresh salad. Delicious 10/10. Definitely coming back.

Ok stopped ordering delivery from here as they made so many mistakes and were quite rude. That was a couple of years ago. Was passing so picked up a tikka mix roll. Guys were friendly. The roll was decent for a take away and very value for money. I would have it again if passing. Can’t really comment about other dishes but would have the mix tikka roll again …

Me and my friend ate lamb karahi and Naan and Tandori Roti. The food was absolutely bad taste, a waste of money. The lamb Karhai had zero taste and qulaity of Roti and Naan was also very bad.

Would’ve given it 5 star if it wasn’t for the staff staring at me throughout my whole meal chairs are disgusting however food was nice and quick would only recommend take away tho staff are just weird they stare at you throughout ur whole meal

I had just ordered paneer tikka in these naan along with all the spices and sauces, they neither delivered any sauce to me nor any cutlery which I selected. It was tasteless. I couldn’t eat it. Very bad

Visited this restaurant whilst in Milton Keynes. Ample seating with peaceful ambience. Food was reasonable but customer service could have been a little more welcoming. Would recommend.

Note on door- cash only. Told can order off the website but no mention made of the 50p admin charge for each of our party of 6. Complained but no movement on charge or offer of a freebie. Food average and waiter dropped a knife covered with curry on one of us when clearing up.

I always order from here, but they let me down big time two of the three meals were incorrect, they advised they could deliver next time which is no good. They then advised they would deliver missing items within hour they didnt then when called again they put phone down 3 times really realy disappointed. Really really poor customer service.

Why so much vinegar ???? Basically ruined sweet and sour. Must have spilled the whole bottle in was literally inedible 🤢

Chips were a bit soggy , and they forgot my colslaw , also swapped my ice cream for a different one , maybe just put “unavailable” on just eat for items you dont have stock of , i dont like the substituted ice cream , chicken was fine , lamb chops starter was so tasty

Not impressed complained that a dish had no flavour was not nice and nothing was done about it service was slow would not recommend or return

Very nice wings as always (Lemon & Herb). Plain rice was fluffy and hot, salad is of decent quality and the peshwari bread was the icing on the cake. Would recommend to family and friends.

Chips were over done. Peshwari nann was not cooked properly and still doughy , ordered ice cream and they sent a substitute without asking and we dont like it at all ….. maybe call customers before substituting , someone could have allergies or simply not like the substitute , wasted money

Possibly the most disgusting curry we have ever had. The food arrived very hot, but the sag Alou was as hot as a vindaloo., the naan bread was not like a normal naan bread, tasted flavourless. There was only one potato in the sag Alou, and also we found a stone or a large Pip in the dish. And it definitel was not a cardamom pod. Disgusted with the quality

There was plenty of seating at the restaurant. The location is good. Honestly I was a little bit disappointed with the food. We ordered the chicken shish roll and a biryani. The shish was dry and didn't come in a roll, the biryani was soggy. I won't be coming back.

The whole family have food poisoning. Never again. We went for the day to Milton Keynes we didn’t know where to eat we noticed this place as we were hungry we thought will give it a try. The food wasn’t great and the suffering with food poisoning is worst.

Worst experience!!!Food wise okay but around 2 hours of delivery time. I understand the delivery issues but no intimation as well , when was trying to reach them no clear answer !!!

Placed an order online directly through their site, paid with visa card, via their processing company,  worldpay. Approx 19:06pm Received email of payments made and order number aswell as time for delivery....which was 45- 60 minutes. Waited and waited and waited some  more...placed order at 19:06pm...made 17 phone calls to them, no answer to any of them Eventually, after 1 hour 45 minutes,  tired and starving decided to go to the restaurant. The owner said he hasn't got the order, I showed him email receipts and a screenshot along with the order placed. Logged in to their website to show him this order and literally dozens of previous ones. Was rudely told what do you want me to do? And go and speak to the bank. Because he can't see the order in his system. I told him, my bank account has been deducted and the recipient is sizzling grillz. (Screenshot shown) It is not my responsibility to be calling the bank. And definitely not my problem your computer system is not showing the order...despite the fact that on their site my order history clearly showed as ordered and paid for and awaiting delivery along with the order number. They had my money, and I had no food. The owner was rude. Did not take responsibility, and definitely gave no apology and didn't show any remorse. No sorry, no thank you...nothing but a rude attitude. Do yourselves a favour avoid this place. There are dozens of friendly, polite and well mannered owners of restaurants in Milton Keynes, with much better service and quality of food. Sizzling Grillz is not worthy of even one star. Shameful behaviour.

Bought grilled chicken and kebab. The taste was average. Good service though.

Food is quite bland so quite average, also ordered a mango milkshake which was warm and not really drinkable. Waiter was helpful but the food is very bland so probably will not visit again.

Took more money than the estimate,Because of adding one more chili and this time food not good. They didn't give food bill also.I wouldn't recommend to anybody this place.

I'm regular customer of sizzling grillz, never happened but today I ordered pizza for guests,while eating pizza I saw fungus on back side pizza I really disappointed 😞

Asked for no cucumbers came with extra cucumbers 🤦🏻‍♂️ Only good thing is game early. Clearly can’t read simple instructions.

We had a takeaway from this place yesterday as it was close to the station. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. Apart from the chicken burger and chicken tikka that was okay the pizza and kebabs were unedible and had a strange taste and the chips were definitely not fresh,although plentiful. Why did we forget how woeful this place is......and how it manages to survive. Disappointed with the service and quality of food overall. On a Saturday night only 2 other customers which should have been a warning sign. It is clear that the management has changed and with that the quality of the food. The Tikka masala dish tasted like a chicken dessert which they replaced for us. The waitress was clearly new as she kept telling us and we had to ask for cutlery and drinks. We won't be going again.
