Wulf & Lamb - Marylebone in City of London, Westminster

If you want to eat vegan and want a chilled place with good service and be at ease this is the place to be. Nothing very fancy but a very tastefully made restaurant. The food was really well made and well presented. Try the green curry with sweet potato and rice. Both times I went there I sat inside but they have an Al fresco area too.

Fabulous service from Ruby, can’t rate this restaurant highly enough. Eating out as a vegan is difficult at the best of times, but with a food allergy as well, it can be impossible. Ruby was brilliant, double checking the tiniest details to ensure I had only safe food. I had the best possible dining experience and can’t wait to return. We had the most delightful evening here..scrumptious food and a great ambiance made our dining experience wonderfully memorable! The starters, mains and sharers were all gorgeous. We were served by Ruby whose manner, knowledge of the menu and attention to detail concerning ingredients was outstanding.. what an asset to have someone like this working in a restaurant! Have eaten at Wulf and Lamb a few times and it is always an excellent meal. The staff are always friendly and the changing menu means another visit is always on the table. Their spicy gyoza are always worth sampling!

I have a mushroom allergy, I communicated it to the staff (I spoke to a guy i think his name is William, I think he was the manager, tall blonde guy) he marked with an X every dish that didn’t contain mushrooms (which were like 3 in the whole menu) but the ridiculous thing was that I wanted to take a bolognese pasta, but I couldn’t because it was marked as “contain mushrooms” and when I ask the guy (same guy from before) where the mushrooms was in it he mainsplained to me that it was “probably in the pasta” (he clearly had no idea of what he was saying) like,, have u ever heard of a pasta dough made with mushrooms? apparently they have it 😭 and same with the bread of the burger 😭 i’ve been told that the mushroom were “in the bread” 😭 the guy doesn’t even know how pasta and bread are made even though it’s something you learn in primary school. Apart from this, we were visibly upset about this situation, we end up ordering just a small starter because he kept pressing us into ordering something. This is not how you treat a costumer. He could’ve at least apologised. When we asked for the bills, there was even optional service charge to pay, again… what service? It would have been nice to at least present to us the bill with the service charge already removed, but apparently it was too hard to comprehend that we were not happy with the “service”. Anyway, the rest of the staff was nice. Just keep in mind that if you have any kind of allergies don’t go in there as they (he) clearly doesn’t know how to handle this kind of things. And 35£ for two drinks and some nachos are definitely not worth it for the service you receive. Lastly, I like to add: I do the same job, I work in a restaurant as well and I know how this things are handled and this is just not the right way. Update: after reading this review, the manager herself contact me to offer me a complementary dinner. She was really nice so the complain is really about that one team member.

Great food but they lack customer attention! We came here today and the food was really nice, we booked this restaurant through the fork and as we sat down we told them we have a deal on fork and if there was any restrictions to which they said no. At the end we they told us the fork offer was not available (this was my mistake as somehow the order hadn't gone through but it would have been nice to know this at the start rather then the end) We ordered our food and drinks. We asked for water with our drinks and we ordered some great items with the menu. I have an allergy so asked about this too. We got our starters, drinks and one main really quick. But we didn't get the water but that was ok at this stage, we finished all the starters and the one main and sat there. The waiters smiled and walked pass us about 3 times but no one picked up our plates so l called one waiter over and mentioned we were still waiting for one main and water. She went away and came back to tell us the chef didn't make one of the mains as it had an ingredient which I was allergic to. I was taken back coz If I didn't ask one main would have never come. At this stage my partner had already had his main (shared with me) she then apologised and asked if I wanted to order something else? I said yes ordered and reminded that we were still waiting for some water. The other main then came and the waitress kindly offered to give us a free pudding as an apology which was nice. But we never got the water and I felt like the restaurant lacked customer attention even though the food was nice due to this I don't think I would go back.

Food was good and service was amazing! Our server was the best. She was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The carrot cake was really good. I highly recommend the bolognese too, the flavour was nice.

Dined at Wulf & Lamb in Marylebone, and it was a delightful vegan affair. Highlights included delicious Nachos, a refreshing Mango & Cucumber Salad, irresistible Sticky Cauliflower, and a comforting Katsu Curry. Each dish was a burst of flavor and creativity. However, the Wulf Aubergine was underwhelming, lacking the same punch as the others. A word of advice: skip the Chardonnay. It didn't match up to the food's standard. Overall, Wulf & Lamb is a fantastic spot for anyone exploring plant-based dining. Just stick to the food, and you're in for a treat.

Best Vegan restaurant I've been to. Great menu of wholesome meals with spot on portions. Love that it has no gimmicks or agenda just great food that is plant based.

Visited again for a late lunch yesterday with a few family members. Very nice experience. Lovely calm ambience, staff were very good & friendly. Our meals were very nice as were the deserts and we left feeling satisfied & relaxed. Will definitely be revisiting as I live nearby. My only regret is that I missed out on the 50% off offer, but that was my fault for not reading the email newsletter beforehand. Lovely place though & well recommended.

Came here with some friends and really enjoyed it! I don't often eat vegetarian or vegan but the menu was really fun and everything was so fresh and tasty. I loved the vibes, the service was fast, the staff were really nice, and I had a great time.

Came here for lunch with a friend. We each ordered a plate of curry rice with crispy aubergine and sweet potatoes from the set menu. It comes lwith a drink and there are few options to choose from. The set lunch is a steal at £10.50 before tax. However the food is quite simple and lack the wow factor. I find it not very filling too. However that aside, the ambience of the restaurant is so good. On the weekday which I went, there were only one or two tables and we were allowed to sit as long as we wanted. We ended up chatting for 2 hours! The toilets are clean and spacious. Good service crew.

Incredible food here! If you're looking for an extra special vegan meal, this place is amazing. 3 of us came here and shared sides and had our own mains. The mac n cheese was amazing, as was the cauliflower.

Absolutely amazing! I’m not vegan and didn’t think I would like this place as much as I did! The miso aubergine bao, cucumber & mango salad, crispy cauliflower, nachos are a must have!! YUM. In the mains, the Thai curry was decent and the burger was soooo good! Will be back and would 10/10 recommend

The food was good, as always, although we wish they had more gluten free options and the curry dish with sweet potato was more curry but less sweet in taste.

I thought it tasted nice. The v place is also on the fork app too, so if you are lucky you can get a discount

More options for onion and garlic free would be great.

Sunday afternoon for dinner after a show in the West End. Great cocktails (highly recommended the espresso martinis), and superb food - even for us non-vegetarians/vegans!! Great service from the staff and would highly recommend the place.

Excellent place, lovely atmosphere, as it is the 31st Dec the place was almost empty. The gentleman who served us was very attentive, we loved the food and I was able to have the truffle paste on my side cheese pasta as I did not want a main course. Prices are a bit steep in my opinion, but it is London. The chocolate fondant was amazing, tasty and the ice cream really was great with it. 12% gratuity is included so I did not tip, but considered asking to remove that and leave more. This branch seems better than the Chelsea branch which is smaller

So disappointing. The food was bland and cold- how difficult is it to cook dry tagliatelle? We were a big group but had pre-ordered and were treated like an inconvenience. I wrote a full review on TripAdvisor (no response from management) but in summary: beautiful restaurant, bland and poorly cooked food, grim service. Won't go back, which is a real shame as it's so close to work that it would have been really handy. Hope they get themselves enough wine glasses for everyone on a table of 14 to get one.

Nice food. Love the ambience. About 10 mins walk from bus stop. Green coconut curry with fragrance rice. Curry slightly spicy, with a tint of sweetness and not overpowering coconut. Blossom "Fish" cakes is unique, a must try. Yakisoba Noodles not too oily, smooth noodle texture. Creamy Mushroom Pasta, rich and creamy.

Love the food but also the cocktail classes run by the bartender. Have done these twice already and recommend either for a date or group activity.

I would really like to give this place a better review as I love to support vegan businesses. The staff are all very nice and the restaurant itself is lovely. They have a great vegan dessert selection. However, the food is just not up to scratch. Everything was very bland and didn't have much taste. We tried four different dishes - the Mac and cheese had virtually no flavour. The nduja spaghetti just tasted of cream. The fishcakes were also bland with not much flavour. The burger was decent enough at least. We also tried the nachos which were mostly okay except the salsa tasted like jam! Really strange. Maybe it was an off day in the kitchen? I think this place has a good menu with lots of options but the food itself just needs sprucing up before I would be willing to return.

Excellent vegan and vegetarian restaurant just off Baker Street. There is a wide range of dishes and the cocktails are very good.

Great food, amazing service will definitely come back, i loved the sticky toffee pudding. Jasmine was very helpful knew all about the menu, helped us with my friend’s allergy in a very professional way and made us feel very comfortable.

Nice atmosphere, food and wine very pricey. Good vegan choices. Food was tasty, although there were too many additives (sulphites) so it made it hard to choose a dish.

The food is average, nothing wow about it. Between 3 of us we had pasta and the bao bun, and overall we found everything to be really sweet. The bao bun was definitely way too sweet so I wouldn't recommend it. The name is so misleading, but that could be partially our fault for not reading the description about it being a vegan restaurant. We were also surprised that they had run out of white wine bottles, very odd. It's a pleasant restaurant and the decor is nice, with outdoor seating for when it's warm. We didn't try the desserts, but they had some cake too. Good location, close to the station.

Katsu curry 10/10 Green curry 8/10 Mac and cheese 3/10 (very powdery) Spicy gyoza 7/10 Chocolate fondant dessert 2/10 is a tiny portion and way overpriced. Don’t go for desserts, go for cakes as they are better value for money. Even though the fondant seemed homemade, it wasn’t exciting, there was no filling, it was very basic for 8.50£…. The drinks were good but they ran out of rum. A little bit weird to run out of rum on a Saturday. They offer 20% discount for students until 7pm, excluding drinks. Staff is good but it seems understaffed at times.

Amazing vegan food. Had the beet wellington and the carrot cake. So good and prices very reasonable for the location and quality. My partner had the sticky toffee pudding and it was amazing. Highly recommend.

Great all vegan resturant founded in the city of London. Seems like the menu was carfully crafted with a big amounts of attention to details dishes are well made. The dishes are very well and very fresh. Some of the dishes serves in Wulf &Lamb have a nice vegan twist on classic english dishes such as the 'Beet Wellington'. Service was excellent as well!

Delicious plant-based food. My burger was really tasty and quite filling. We especially enjoyed the cauliflower in a light batter too. Pleasant, friendly service. Dog friendly too. We very much enjoyed our mid-week lunch and will return.

If this place isn’t a front for something I’ll eat my hat. Menus printed on a4 Menu options are all over the place. No concept. And if you look past come posh lights, very very basic. Also a bottle of lager £6.95 lol Final bill came to £170 and was sooo bangs average. Very disappointed, don’t waste your time

My sister and I loved our experience at Wulf & Lamb. Both the Truffle Burger and Katsu Curry were delicious! And Alia and Ruby were super friendly and helpful.

We both took the roasted cauliflower and shared the mac and cheese as a starter and both meals were gorgeous! We booked a table in advance and we each got a dessert for free which were fantastic as well. Our waitress, Ruby, was very courteous and friendly :-).

Amazing food with generous portions at a very affordable price. The service by our waitress Aliyah was amazing, she went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Amazing food and great service, best Vegetarian food

Very tasty food at a reasonable price. We asked for a bit more sauce as we felt the mains needed a little more moisture. But a lovely meal and very pleasant staff. The real bonus was not having to order starter and main at the same time. We only ordered the main after we'd had the starter. It felt very chilled and relaxed.

We visited Marylebone restaurant and sat in the garden, enjoyed a truly delicious meal, super tasty food - would highly recommend it! However, the whole experience was massively brought down by terrible service and surprisingly rude staff. Very disappointing to receive a comment from Alexander (if that is his name, as he first told me that he doesn’t know his name) that I should pay more attention at what I’m charged before I pay, as they added to my bill the items that wasn’t meant to be on my bill… stunned by the rude response, I felt extremely uncomfortable and wanted to leave asap… If anyone is paying attention to this and wants to improve customer service experience, please recruit polite and caring people… or was I just unlucky to receive such disrespect?

Have been here in the past and appreciate the food. I sit down today and wait in the outside terrace for about 15 minutes with my girlfriend after announcing my arrival and the (only?) waiter there does not even bother coming to clear our table and bring us menus. Very sad to have such poor quality of service who don’t care about the establishment that employs them and deliver such a low level of service. They really work against the Brand and give such a bad image…

Best vegan Mac n cheese I’ve had in a while, the truffle burger was amazing but the chips were standard supermarket chips which was disappointing for the price.

Great service and lovely food, unfortunately the aubergine was a bit too salty, but everything else was delicious, I’ve tried almost the whole menu by now and so far everything delicious! The location is great and you get the feeling of being on holidays!

Service is good... location is pretty good, table outside was nice. The problem I had here was the quality of my food was very poor... Mushroom pasta for £15.50... for that you would at least expect fresh pasta, but honestly this was about 50g of standard packet Linguine, the mushroom sauce was like a cheap, watery mushroom soup and the mushroom was like they had sliced a single button mushroom and thrown it in for a minute at the end. Tasteless, inadequate portion and really quite insulting for that price. I could have done a better job at home in the time it would take to boil the pasta and it would have cost me less than £1. The Aubergine dish my friend had looked better, so perhaps it is a matter of choosing your dish carefully -- but with a dish this bad on the menu, I would say try somewhere else (lots of good places in this area)

Loved the food! The creamy cauliflower was delicious, best dish we had. The staff wasnt very happy to accommodate to gluten free options but after we insisted they agreed to modify some dishes to be gluten free. Recommend, will come back

Disappointed, ate lunch here last weekend. The interior and atmosphere was nice, but the food and service was meh. Also our order arrived too quickly? Normally wouldn’t complain about that but it felt odd to receive it in 5mins.

Last minute was in area and we were with a vegan friend. We are all lifelong veggies. Food was fabulous, service was amazing and lovely ambiance. This is my 3rd visit here and the best so far. Quite a novelty for a vegetarian to have the choice of an entire menu. The Thai Green Curry was delicious. Very friendly and attentive staff. Special thanks to Verity (and her sister Izzy) and the all the staff. Not cheap but good value. Only comment would be in the current restaurant climate of greedflation , £4.50 (+ 12.5% service) for a Coke Zero is super excessive.

Nice place, chilled vibes, food was good. The wulf pie was quite comforting! The cauliflower salad was quite small. For dessert, my friend also had the mango coconut crème brûlée which was absolutely delicious! 4* as it didn’t blow our minds but is a nice place with quite a lot of availabilities. Safe option if you want vegan in the area, wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to go type place though.

They have only two gluten free main dishes. There are a couple of other dishes you can ask to be modified to be gluten free. Still, they did not have much variety. However, they brought gluten free bread with balsamic vinegar for starter. It would be nice if they had more gluten free options.

De los mejores restaurantes en los que comimos de Londres. Cuenta con platos muy diferentes y todos estaban buenísimos. Los Max And cheese brutales, los Baos, de escándalo y así con todo. Sitio súper recomendable. El local es muy cómodo y cuenta con terraza.

Lovely flavour to the 'fish' burger. Fabulous fries. Aubergine bao was flavoursome. Crispy cauliflower was delicious.

Great to see that their menu has diversified. Not great to see a piece of plastic in my dish. It was one of those plastic pieces from you typically see coming off on yoghurt pots... Staff were responsive about it, and didn't charge us for that dish. But not sure if such an establishment should have such low quality control / review standards.

By coincidence I was at the Chelsea branch a few days earlier. The food, service and atmosphere at the Marylebone branch is equally good. Save room for dessert, as the sticky toffee pudding is particularly good!

Nice place, with a really expansive menu for plant based food. Decent cocktails (2 for 1 offer is very nice, only losing a star as they're definitely understaffed!
